Living in Vela on the park has been a great experience overall. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and everything Stamford has to offer. One of my favorite things about living here is the rooftop—the views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. It's a perfect spot to relax or entertain guests. That said, there are a few areas where the resident experience could be even better: Noise levels: The walls are quite thin, so sound from neighboring units can be heard easily at times. It’s not a major issue, but something to be aware of. Parking: Assigned parking spots are full, so residents often have to park anywhere between the 3rd and 6th floors of the city garage, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, guest parking is extremely limited—with only two designated spots that are usually occupied. Finding ways to expand or optimize both resident and guest parking would significantly improve the experience.

In general, I have enjoyed my time here as a resident. The building is older and amenities are older. But the location is prime. The biggest downside is: the parking options are awful. Also, there are frequent false fire alarms.

Having lived here for nearly 4 years, I can wholeheartedly recommend Vela as a very special community to call home, with its stunning apartments, exceptionally clean and well- maintained common spaces, breathtaking views, fabulous location next to all the best restaurants, and the friendliest and most helpful building staff!

I have lived at Vela on the Park since Spring of 2024 and I love living here. My location is amazing, and the views are breathtaking. The maintenance is the best, and they take care of my request promptly. The building is so clean, and always makes me feel good when I have friends visit. I would recommend Vela on the Park for anyone looking for an apartment in Downtown Stamford, Connecticut.

I can't say enough good things about this property. Gio and Andre made our whole experience so very wonderful. From the time my wife started looking at the apartment complex to move in day and beyond, they were extremely kind and helpful. The property is well maintained and very well run. In addition, the concierge staff and maintenance staff are very kind and responsive.

We've lived here for 3 years and could not be happier! The building and apartments are beautiful, staff is so accommodating, responsive, and friendly, and the location is perfect...all the restaurants and downtown festiviities right out the door. Highly recommend Vela on the Park!

Vela on the park has been my husband and i’s home for the last year. We just renewed!!! The new management team has been amazing!!! Everything seems to have been elevated since this new team has come into the building. The events, communication and overall feel of the building have been so wonderful the past few months. We love food truck thrusday… every week is a new, exciting truck. Anthony was super helpful during our renewal stage. He is always prepared to drop what he is doing to help when we come to the office with questions. With so many selections of apartments to live, we are happy to call vela home.

Lester in maintenance is excellent! Anytime we've had an issue in the apartment, he has responded promptly, professionally and in a friendly manner. The staff at Vela has made all the difference to make a great place to live.

I moved to Vela on the Park July 2024 and it’s the best place in downtown Stamford. It’s close to everything you could possibly need. Great restaurants, shops, businesses, bars etc. Also, across the street from Mill River Park, which has events all year around for the city of Stamford. I would recommend Vela on the spark to anyone looking for their next apartment in Stamford, Connecticut.

We just moved to Vela on the Park and couldn’t be happier! The building is beautiful and so clean and well maintained… Lester from the maintenance team has been so helpful and prompt when we had a slight appliance issue. His attention to detail, pleasant demeanor and willingness to help with our smooth transition to the building has been amazing. Looking forward to happy years here!

I have lived at Vela on the Park since last Summer and it’s a great place to live. My apartment is spacious, quiet and has views of the park making it perfect for every season. One thing that is important for me is maintenance service and the maintenance guys Marco & Lester do a great job. They take care of all my repairs quickly and efficiently. The building is always super clean. I have noticed a lot of positive changes at the building the last few months, and I want to give credit to the new manager Gio. I enjoy the Thursday food trucks a lot. The events every week are fun and enjoyable. I like to feel appreciated and that is how I feel living at Vela on the Park.

Because Vela on the Park has a lot going for it, we happily renewed our lease in August. Convenient location and fun weekly events. Cleanest building we’ve lived in. A great maintenance team, Marcos and Lester complete our work requests in a timely and efficient manner. Milos and Vanessa, our concierge, always have a warm smile and a helping hand whenever we need one. Lastly, our management team of Gio, Andre and Anthony is unparalleled.

Location is convenient but incredibly noisy. Very few amenities. Front desk coverage is unreliable. Cleaning crew is good. Parking in the garage is a pain.

I like the experience in general. Very dog friendly. Very conveniently located in the heart of Stamford. However, the management team tends to ignore requests to things such as rewarding referrer with referral bonus.

Everything runs smoothly and enjoyably for the most part (I.e., maintenance requests, building amenities and cleaning, etc.,). Staff is also very friendly!

We've been at Vela for almost 3 years now, and it's been such a wonderful experience. The building, apartments and amenities are wonderful, and the mgt and staff are incredibly nice and highly responsive. We are so well cared for here. Being a resident has been a great experience so far. The common areas are always clean and nice to be in. We love using them common areas to work and the gym for a nice workout.

I have stayed at vela for several months now and wanted to give a brief review of my experience: The maintenance and office staff are top notch. Any issues with the apartment are quickly fixed though there has only been 2 issues I have encountered. The cleaning staff keep the building in really good condition every day, when it comes to cleanliness this may be the best building I have ever lived in. As for the apartment itself and amenities, they are high quality and well priced compared to other buildings in the area. One of the many amenities the building offers is a shuttle to the train station in the morning, it is only a 9-10 minute walk away as well which makes it very convenient. The floor plans are well designed and the appliances are high quality Bosch and GE units. Overall this is a great building, I would make sure to tour this when looking to rent in Stamford!

I am thrilled to be calling Vela on the Park “home” for a second year in a row. The management and maintenance teams are responsive and friendly, always addressing any correspondence promptly. I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with several members of the team and would like to specifically commend Andre, Gio, Lester, and Dazhia for going above and beyond and being exceptionally helpful in their respective roles. Additionally, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how amazing the concierge staff. The facilities are top-notch, with well-maintained common areas, a clean gym, and monthly resident events. The community here is welcoming and peaceful, making it feel like home. I would not hesitate to recommend Vela to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable living experience!

Great attention to the details you don’t think of when looking at an apartment. For example the water pressure in the shower is great, the ice machine on the fridge has a “crushed” option, the A/C is powerful. Management seems to prioritize having a building that actually is great, over one that just looks great on the tour.

This is undoubtedly "THE" location to stay while in Stamford, with unparalleled access to everything and beautiful views. The no-nonesense staff will attend to your every need and make sure your living experience here is what you signed up for - outstanding comfort and having the finer things in life at your fingertips. Experienced renters will find Vela to be an overall consistently rewarding experience. "I live at Vela" now means something important to me, and makes me very proud to call this place home.

Vela is a great place in a unique location right at the heart of downtown Stamford. A real gem. Staff are friendly, professional, and "worry with us" about creating the best resident experience. Conditions at Vela are very good. Noise on Washington is excessive.

Vela provides everything you would want in a home and more! The finishes in the apartment can’t be beat and the rooftop is simply gorgeous. The location is incredibly walkable while still convenient for a car.
