Property Ratings at Union San Marcos
Uptown is a pretty good place to be compared to others around.
Property Manager at Union San Marcos, Responded To This Review
Thanks for taking the time to share this. We’re glad to hear you feel Uptown stacks up well compared to other spots around. Our team works hard to make this a place you’re proud to live, and it’s great to know that effort shows. If you ever have ideas on how we can take things to the next level, we’d love to hear them. — Uptown Square Team
Uptown Square is a great apartment complex, the pool makes you feel like you’re at a hotel! The WiFi is the only thing that needs fixing but luckily that’s getting fixed this week. Overall, best choice I’ve made especially with the security of the gates around the premises.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Uptown Square! We love hearing how much you’ve enjoyed the pool and the overall sense of security in the community. We’re also excited to share that WiFi upgrades are currently underway, so you’ll be seeing improvements very soon. We’re so glad you chose to call Uptown home! — The Uptown Team
My experience so far with living at uptown square has been great. There’s plenty of parking and the community is friendly.

We’re so glad you’re enjoying your time at Uptown! A friendly community and easy parking can make a big difference, and we’re glad to hear those are standing out for you. - The Uptown Square Team
Uptown Square is an ideal spot for students and residents, not too close to the chaos of campus but not too far that you're out of the way. Just a few minutes drive to UFCU stadium and town square keeps you in the loop for all activities! The complex has many amenities including a gym and pool, convenient in- unit washer/dryer, and an easy to navigate layout and parking lot. Parking is also very convenient with plenty of both general and saved spots, so you don't have to end up on the street. The single unit is the perfect size for a solo living student over 25. Once you make it your own, you'll find yourself comfortably calling it home.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review! We're so glad you’re enjoying your space and the balance of location and convenience that Uptown offers. Our team works hard to make Uptown feel like home, and it means a lot to hear you’re loving the amenities, layout, and parking. Thanks for being part of the Uptown community — we’re lucky to have you here! — The Uptown Square Team
Would not recommend to anyone. Have had to deal with problems like bug infestation, broken light bulbs, etc. You get what you pay for...sort of.
Property Manager at Union San Marcos, Responded To This Review
We’re sorry to hear your experience hasn’t met expectations. We take concerns like pest control and maintenance seriously and always encourage residents to submit service requests so our team can address issues as quickly as possible. Your feedback is important and helps us continue improving the living experience for all residents. If you'd like to speak with someone directly, we’d be happy to connect and discuss how we can make things right. — The Uptown Square Team
Great workers, great area to live in, and very easy process of moving in.
Property Manager at Union San Marcos, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the wonderful feedback! We're so glad to hear you had a smooth move-in experience and are enjoying both the team and the community. We’re happy to have you here! ?????
Uptown Square has proven to be an unprofessional and unsafe living environment, where residents regularly face serious concerns that go unaddressed. Individuals have reported being threatened on the property, yet management offers no support or option to break a lease even when safety is compromised. Package theft is common, hit-and-run incidents involving parked vehicles occur without consequence, and the community is left with only one maintenance worker to service the entire complex—resulting in delayed and often neglected repairs. Meanwhile, the front office staff appear more focused on creating TikTok content than addressing residents’ legitimate concerns. This level of negligence reflects a disturbing lack of accountability and a disregard for the well-being of those who live there.
Property Manager at Union San Marcos, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your experience and the concerns you’ve raised regarding safety, maintenance, and communication. Please know that resident well-being is a top priority for us, and we take these concerns very seriously. We understand how important it is to feel safe and supported in your home, and we sincerely apologize if we have fallen short of those expectations. We are actively working to improve our service response times, enhance security measures, and better support our residents’ needs. If you are willing, we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand your experience and work toward a resolution. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. - Ray Hernandez | Sr. Community Manager | Uptown Square

People from administration very hostile. Alfredo, the manager never return phone calls. Clearly they do not care about servicing people but to the money. Alfredo, manager never available despite multiple complaints
