Property Ratings at Two Lakes Edge
Two Lakes Edge is in a great location, close to restaurants and Whole Foods, that’s honestly the best part and was the saving grace when I had to experience the blackout days caused by Hurricane Beryl. The units are spacious, but not properly maintained. At move-in, my unit was not cleaned properly which I had to hire a cleaning company to clean at move-in. Unfortunately, the property isn’t well-maintained, hallways often smelled like dog urine or had pet messes left for long periods. The dog park is usually dirty as well, even though the place is advertised as pet-friendly. I personally experienced a continual rodent issue as well as a few neighbors on my floor and was denied by management on a number of occasions. The issue was never when I left the property. For the price, I expected way better. I wouldn’t personally recommend living here unless management makes some serious changes.
Been here 3 years and since the new mgmt company took over a year ago, it’s gone down hill. Would not stay here knowing what I know now. Won’t be renewing our lease.

Where do I begin, the personal that assisted us were all professional! Not only were they detailed with the various prices and floor plans, they also toured us on multiple suites! Between all the amenities and it’s a beautiful location and it was difficult figuring out what was best for us, but unfortunately the pricing was a tad high for us but it is definitely on our list to come back once we readjust!

Nice property and seeming reasonably well run by a friendly management team. Apartment I lived in for a year was great; well designed, modern/functional finishings, etc. My warning to potential residents is the noise. The apartment front doors have very little sound proofing. You can hear everything going on in the hallway. Everything. It also doesn't help that people in the building seem to think the hallways are a place to run, yell, parade their toddlers, etc. Note I also had a nightmare loud/raucous neighbor, like something out of a reality show, that management seemed to have difficulty addressing (a clear eviction candidate). But even without the neighbor, this is a loud place to live, without question. If you want to help yourself, at the least don't take an apartment on Hughes Landing Blvd. The trash trucks and resident engine rev'ing gets old after about a day.
