I visited to tour an apartment. The person that gave me the tour was great. But first impressions matter and the other person in the office was complaining on the phone about a tenant. If they talk about tenants like that, then I don't want to be in that kind of environment, I thought to myself.

just moved in, loving the place! (¡Hablan Español con fluidez!)

just moved in 2.5 weeks ago, moving in a with a timeline of under 1 week was no problem!!! They speak Spanish fluently!/¡Hablan Español con fluidez! The complex is clean and bright, maintenance is on-site and super quick to respond, and the office ladies are always 100% willing to hear you out, and work with your issues. The leasing agent, Kristi, reached out to me, told me all about the place, and we made the viewing appointment then and there. She promised that, when we applied, we could get confirmation same-day, and she was right!!! She was so knowledgeable, passionate about the complex, and has lived here herself, and assured me that the previous reviews from 2 years ago were no problem anymore. After living here for even this short time, I can confirm that this place is wonderful, and open to answering any questions you have!

Management improvement When I first moved to the 12501 apartments I knew the management staff from my old resident. The time that I spent at the 12501 I had seen the management crumble to almost unknowledgeable staff but before I left recently the management staff had improved $150%. Totally courteous and knowledgeable I was sorry to leave and I still am a little regretful because I've never met a more down to earth and very well staffed management the new resident manager very knowledge! and what she she has definitely assembled a great staff. Chrissy is very courteous and welcoming for any problem I had I would never forget or someday I may decide once again reside at the Twelve501 apartmentsThank You! JR

Poorly run / maintained

Pick anywhere else!! I have been living here since May 1st, 2023. On my move in day I got here at my scheduled time of 12pm. They told me they had lost the keys. Took them until 5pm to get into my unit and put in a new lock. My unit had not been cleaned, had paint touched up, or had necessary repairs made. Next, when I paid my first months rent and security deposit, they deposited my check into someone else’s account! Took 1.5 months to fix it and credit my account. Now it is July 9th, 2023 and the pool is still not open. Full of black water. The “courtyard” area is dirty and the grills are covered by a broken roof. Since I cleaned my unit on my own, I will say they clean up well. I like the stainless appliances and updated look. But as for everything else, I’m disappointed. I chose this place based on amenities I saw from pictures online. (Toured during winter).

No Show For Tour

Scheduled a tour for 11:50a through theit website. No one appeared to be working in the office, or did not return by 12:05. No message indicating the tour would be cancelled was forwarded to me. Very unfortunate.

Scheduled Tour

I scheduled a tour online to see this location last week (April 29th, 11:50am). 3 sets of people showed up for this scheduled tour. First, we could not get in, then we stood around in an empty lobby area. Finally, someone showed up and simply said, "I am sorry, we are closed". Turned around and walked away. If this is how you treat possible new tenants, I can only imagine how actual tenants are treated. NO THANK YOU! BUH BYE!!

Regret

If you move here you will learn to quickly regret it. You don’t get everything that is advertised for amenities. Its not a safe environment especially for children with mold, mice, roaches, and trash everywhere. Most importantly other residents and management show lack of respect

Hell on earth

It’s hard to put into words how truly horrible this place is. Poor management that does nothing and doesn’t care about you, dirty, disgusting, roaches, mold, dog poop everywhere, children and animals stepping on broke glass, and is expensive for the worst quality I have ever seen in my life.

Cockroaches at 501

Everything is filthy and broken. Corona and Modelo beer cans all over the parking lot, halls and elevator. Ranchero music being played at max volume all the time. Laundry machines don't work. There is a garbage chute but lazy parents have their kids take out the garbage so they just leave it on the floor in the garbage chute room after dragging the bag on the hallway carpet, leaving garbage water streaks. Major cockroaches. Apartment not even clean upon move in. Building not secure, doors are constantly wedged open, running up your heat bill. "Remodel" looks good in the pictures but is the lowest quality. Paint flakes right off the cabinets. Counter tops and bathtub have been resurfaced with some kind of garbage epoxy. All this for more then the cost of a mortgage!

TERRIBLE HORRIBLE

This apartment complex (Twelve501, Burnsville,MN) is awful, terrible and horrible!! Management and staff have no CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS period. Let's just start with a simple maintenance issue like a toliet overflowing, you can physical walked to the office and submit a request online. And still you may wait up 5 days. Pest control is include in your monthly rent but if you don't request in advance before the 1st of the month your apartment WILL NOT BE EXTERMINATED. The cameras that are installed either don't work and/or they don't focus or aimed in a certain direction???? Don't let the website looks fool you!!! Law Enforcement is always on the premises for some type of disorderly conduct The onsite laundry have big time issues- washer don't clean your clothes, you pay more depending on your water temp,dryer don't dry your clothes ....either the washer and dryer don't work and/or they are too too expansive The security company that they have a contract with does nothing but sleep The tow truck company who they have a contract with tow your vehicle because he can!!!! The upgrades are a JOKE!!! If you just need a place for a short time and want to put with management and staff SHENANIGANS GO RIGHT AHEAD!!! Note YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED not sure who they paid to post good reviews but they are lieing Check it for yourself

Poor management

The management team is very rude and not helpful. We’ve called about our issues 3 times in the last month and they keep telling us that they will write a work order and nothing happens. Save your money and don’t here, they don’t care about their residents.

Just the facts

We do not typically write reviews. We have lived here for 6 months and in that time we have called maintenance maybe 10 times, prior to that in the last 10 years that I have lived in apartment buildings I have called maintenance once or twice... With that the garage and elevator are frequently broken. Prior to moving in our apartment was not cleaned - at all- gum in the carpet, hair, dirt, and nails on the carpet. The fridge and heater went out taking several days to a week to fix. These are just the big things.

Great Experience

We moved into the Twelve 501 Apartment Homes just over a month ago. From day one, the staff has been highly responsive. From following-up on maintenance requests to actively engaging in communication, we've been well cared for here. We understand this apartment complex has recently come under new management (Trinity)—it seems like they've really done a good job of bringing great improvements to the place!

If you like roaches and cheap repair jobs

Every other week the elevator breaks down for a week at a time. We've had 2 working washing machines for the past 7 months. They replaced the washing machines and now we have no working machines because they didn't install them correctly. They put new carpet in the stairs over broken steps. Garage door breaks frequently. The people that live here are crap. Every weekend there's trash left everywhere in the hallways. They're noisy and yell. Can't park without taking up two parking spots. Every weekend the main entrance door gets broken off its hinges by someone. Roaches on every floor. These used to be good apartments 8 years ago but have devolved into a pile of crap. I wouldn't live here, and wont be when the lease runs out. If you try and leave early they charge $5,000 early termination fee.

Garbage

Look else where trust me, I would not recommend, you are not getting what you are paying for, very dirty, condom wrapper laying around, lot of people loitering, no parking at night, service sucks, lot of money for a shitty place, I rather live in north Mpls, all the pictures & video on her is a lie and they will say new management we are working on it. you guys need to hire more people.

Very Disappointing

I currently moved into these apartment this past June 2017 and I tell you what...you want a terrible management company that only lies just to get you into an apartment then you my friend are at the right spot. The apartment (and only one) you get to see will be nothing like what you are getting. I hope you like roaches because I don't care how clean you are you will find one or two oh and you pay for a fee very month to have these removed but when you send in a request it will get cancelled. Nice right?! Another bill that they don't make you aware of is the UTILITIES. The electric is separate so then all other utilities are equally divided between all residents in the building. The 80-100 they tell you is INCORRECT.You will need at least $200 JUST FOR UTILITIES. Oh also maintenance just marks jobs as completed when they didn't fix anything and do not notify you every time they enter your apartment...it's a real treat. Oh forget about taking a nice shower...the water pressure is non existent and get used to waiting a half an hour for hot water. All the hallways, elevators, garages, grounds and everywhere else the place is trashed and smells like it to.Forget about doing laundry unless you want your clothes destroyed by the washer making them smell like rotten eggs.Get a garage if you still decide to live here because you will NEVER find a parking spot. No joke.It has been a problem for my guests to find one parking spot.Most cars son't even have passes or sit for days with no one noticing, it is a very fun experience let me tell ya. This management company NEVER answers a phone call.Oh go ahead and complain to the district manager because you won't receive anything back from her as well. Even before moving in it was a nightmare. No one contacted me until the day of my supposed move in...literally the day I need to move in....I know! All I know is this..this apartment is not worth anything near a thousand dollars...I would say more 800 or less due to all the lovely people and problems a person has to deal with. I literally do not know how apartments can advertise so much and actually provide so little without getting legally in trouble! If any other company false advertised like apartments did they would be sued so fast it wouldn't even be funny! If anyone knows the answer to this one please let me know..I have been wondering that since day one when moving into this place.Oh if you know of any other kind of cheap, roach free apartments please let me know.

Save yourself

Please run, this place is infested with roaches and different rodents. Outdated heaters, ac and appliances, new management is very rude and unhelpful. They don't do anything to get things solve such as water dripping, bathroom broken, mold-- which they cover up with paint only, in winter is freezing and they don't do anything about it. Parking spots are extremely small in the underground parking which explains why most cars have dents and scratches, and just so you're aware the gym is not going worth it, the pool is always dirty and there building doesn't get cleaned and trash is all over. Please run. I can't wait until my lease is up

Do you research and wait until changes are made

Unless major changes are made by the new management company (Trinity), I would absolutely not recommend this property. The floor plans are nice (especially the bedroom being far from the front door, the large kitchens and oversized balconies), but don't let that fool you. The majority of the tenants here are disgusting and rude. I have lived in apartments for over 10 years and have never, EVER lived somewhere where garbage is actively left in the hallways and stairwells daily. Literally orange peels dropped like breadcrumbs, chip bags and candy wrappers everywhere. Open garbage bags thrown all over the trash room, ice cream dropped on the hall carpet and left there, garbage all over the garage, and cigarette butts flicked onto your balcony when you don't smoke. It's disgusting. Thankfully we've never had bugs in our apartment because we're not pigs, but I was not at all surprised to hear that some units had to be treated multiple times for bugs because of "continued activity". We have an absolutely terrible upstairs neighbor that purposely stomps as loud as he can all day and all night, even above our bed at 3am. He has supposedly been talked to by the old management and this new management and even the police on a noise complaint and nothing ever happens. We get no sleep every night because of someone who is an awful human. And we know it is this tenant specifically because we never heard the previous people above us ever in over 3 years. It has improved somewhat, but don't be surprised to hear unsupervised children running up and down the halls at all hours. Also, don't plan on being able to do laundry regularly as tenants tend to leave laundry in the machines for days on end without going to get it. There is very little courtesy in this building and it is torturous to get no sleep because of someone above us purposely stomping to bother us for absolutely no reason. It's a crap shoot here and until MAJOR changes are made (by just overturning all the current terrible residents), please do not move here.

Great Apartments!

I gave the apartments 4 stars out of 5 for the friendly service from the staff, the price, and the fact that most utilities are covered with rent. The reason they do not get 5 stars for me is because maintenance is not the greatest and I have had to have the same things fixed multiple times. But other then that I would definitely recommend Summit Park to those looking for a place to live!

Previously lived here.

The price was very high but the apartment was quite large. The showers were cold 30% of the time. I feel they should never be cold not even once. But I enjoyed the location and the office staff was very nice to me. I loved my apartment even though the quality of it was not too good. I would consider living here again. I wish they had the cleaning staff inside the buildings every day.

Low Quality

The rent goes up every year. They spend more money making the outside look nice than they do working on the inside, lots of new flowers. It takes them months to fix holes in the walls and often multiple contacts to get things fixed inside the apartment.

every year rent goes up and the worst is that you'll never get your deposit back ,don't matter how clean you leave your apartment when you move out!, so if i was you i wont clean it becouse there's no point!
