Thornton Place offers two styles of apartments: Creekside and Plaza. Creekside features refined interiors including natural gas fireplaces and ranges, private patio or balcony spaces, a stainless-steel kitchen package, and granite countertops. Our Plaza apartments features blonde wood cabinetry, trash chutes on every floor, and energy-efficient appliances. Each apartment has abundant natural light, open floor plans, and unique views of our community. Thornton Place is also home to a 14-screen Regal Cinemas theater, seven restaurants, and is only a quick 5-minute walk to the Northgate Light Rail station.

Thornton Place has a great staff management team who are friendly and knowledgeable. It's also located near the light rail but away from a lot of the busy areas so it's quiet. The community is very welcoming and friendly, and the area is safe and very peaceful.

I am fortunate enough to have an apartment that if it were to be sold I would purchase as a home. Unlike most apartments available, I have a patio, vaulted ceilings, a gas range, secured garage parking, close access to the light rail and a major mass transit hub should I choose not to drive. If I were to change anything it would be to upgrade the gym (I still would not use it) and to have ports installed for A/C units. The community is kept immaculate, constant improvements in the amenities are being made to meet the needs of a diverse community such as thee private pods for meetings that are sound proof. Social events are held that get people out of there house and help us get to know our neighbors. Most importantly I feel safe living here!

Thornton Place is a small community/bubble. Its proximity to the light rail makes travel very convenient (even if you have a car). The amenities include a 24/7 gym, ?an in-unit washer/dryer, and dishwasher. There’s also more as the property has Amazon Hub Lockers and a package room that is secured and code-protected for each entry. Thornton Place also has restaurants and entertainment within the community! The staff and maintenance team are also excellent —everything is explained in detail. I haven’t had to place many maintenance requests (I believe 2 in 2 years?) because the homes are well-kept. When I did place maintenance requests, I never had to wait longer than 24-48 hours. Furthermore, the neighbors are respectful and friendly! I have never had a noise issue, and I’ve lived in several buildings. Moving in or transferring apartments was a very smooth process! If I had a complaint, it would be that there is no A/C. The apartments—depending on which building you’re in—can run hot during the summers. You will need to invest in a portable A/C unit. Overall, I highly recommend Thornton Place!

Immaculate grounds, amenities that are continuously being updated or in some cases reimagined to be relevant with residents needs and expectations, oversized townhomes that do not feel like apartments. Gas ranges and modern SS kitchen appliance packages.

I've lived in Thornton Place for several years and have had a very good experience here.......often I speak to the folks in the office and they're always friendly and helpful. When I need help I go to the office in person which apparently isn't what some others do.......this is likely why they don't receive expeditious help.

I enjoy the close location the to the nature creek right next to it. Thornton is pretty great apartment wise size for price. Having business under the building is nice and it’s located in a great spot and the apartment units are all fairly up to date. Would for sure check it out if you’re looking at apartments in the area.

Three times this last year we’ve been woken up after 1am because the fire alarm is broken. It’s gone off for no reason at least 6 times. Management doesn’t want to fix it because it’s too expensive. The complex is lacking on amenities for the price, and the management just wants to sit back and raise rents. Stores in the complex leave and the spaces remain empty for years because it’s not worth the price. Used to be awesome, new management has changed that.

When I toured this place, I was excited to live here but it has been disappointing. We chose this apartment over the newer ones on 5th ave because of its proximity the the rail even though the 5th ave ones are newer, bigger, cheaper and include better amenities. For how much we pay, I expected higher quality of the building but appliances are on the older side. Public areas are dirty and smelly. On the surface level, it’s ok but it’s the small things that have become frustrating. First of all, an elevator has been broken for a month. there are are only two elevators in the building and with one broken, only one elevator can be used for all the residents. No updates given or even effort in fixing this. Secondly, many residents have expressed frustration regarding the parking situation but really no effort has been made to fix this despite them assuring us that “exciting new things are happening.” They charge an arm and a leg for parking but can’t guarantee parking for their residents due to people using the parking for Seattle games and concerts. While make an effort by hiring a parking attendant to administer tickets for people parking over 3 hours, it doesn’t address the issue of unavailable parking spots for the residents at the time. We pay an extra amount for gated secure parking but know that that gate has been broken into.

I have lived here 10 years and like it. But the place is aging and somethings are just not being taken care of. The maintenance team is very responsive and qualified, no complaints there. It just seems to be inadequate money being spent to keep things up to a high standard.

This community is clean, friendly, upbeat, and the best place that I’ve lived thus far in Seattle. It is located in a relatively quiet neighborhood, and the staff is excellent (this includes the leasing office and maintenance staff). 24hr gym, community events, nice apartments… 10/10.

Thornton is in a nice area with a bunch of food options and is conveniently located right next to the light rail making it a nice place to be. Overall the complex could use some work, but nothing that is a dealbreaker.

This is not the first time Greystar has completely destroyed and neglected a property I lived at, worst management company I have EVER leased from. Office staff are unable to lookup tenants names, their own units on the property, or operationally maintain any level of decent security. Gates are left wide open all night long on grounds and to garage.

The setting and location of Thornton Place is excellent......near Green Lake, other parks, Th Place "mall," grocery and drug stores.

My wife and I have lived here for a few years. Even with the transition from one management company to this one, the transition was relatively smooth. Living so close to public transportation in addition to the Community Center and Library are tremendously important.

I had a tour lead by Kris Llewelyn and it was so well done. Right off the bat, he was very easy to be with, professional and really funny. I came with a friend and throughout the tour, we had a lot of question and he answered all of them. I would definitely recommend touring at Thornton and hopefully with Kris.
