In general, I am not satisfied with the hallway/elevator/stair/entryway area upkeep. There are several burnt out lights, missing covers, gouges in walls, missing handrail, etc. If these things were to be in a unit, it would be taken care of, but as it's in the hallways, I dont see why this isnt completed/cleaned up/maintained. When I bring guests to my apt, I am often embarrassed by the level of disarray in the hallways. If I had seen this before moving in, I likely would have picked a different community.

Good floor plans in a quiet area. The location is close to almost everything: Interstate 35 going North or South, only a few miles from Highway 77/Cedar Avenue, all kinds of shopping, dining (multiple fast food and sit in restaurants), movie theaters, convenience stores, grocery stores, drug stores, and so on!

It's an average apartment with a quiet community. The rent is a little high for the quality but overall it gets the job done.
I love living here. I feel safe and really like the management and all of the staff!
One of the best parts of living at the Woods is how quickly staff responded to any concerns or requests I had. They always responded same day and either fixed my issue immediately, or as soon as possible. From what I have heard, that level of customer service is not always true at other complexes. The maintenance crew kept the grounds immaculate on a daily basis, the office staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and always responded right away. I didn't feel like just another tenant. I really felt how the staff went out of their way to make residents feel like part of a team. They seem to know everyone, and really went the extra mile to ensure that tenants have a good experience living at the Woods.
the units themselves are nice and well kept, the hallways are usually pretty clean. communication through management is spotty, may have to try a couple times to get your needs met by them
The Woods at Burnsville is a great community to live and the staff is friendly and very helpful people.
You have to give a star that's why I am forced to give a 1 star. Otherwise it would be a 0 got me. Rather go live on the streets or homeless camp than to move here. Everything about the management team is pathetic. The apartments are okay but everything else is disgusting. There is broken glass all over the property walking paths, usually beer bottles. There is pet waste almost at any and all green areas. You will find tiny baggies scattered all around buildings, I am hoping they are just garbage, but neither you nor me is a fool. Probably some other drug. Oh and the best part you need to pay to park. $5 for outdoor parking, where they make you sign they don't take any responsibility and $50 for indoor parking. People are free to smoke in their apartments so the buildings reek of cigarettes. I can verify this because I live in a building and it was so bad that it was getting hard to breath. Called the office to complain and they said people are free to smoke in apartments. By the way did I say cigarette smoke, I meant weed/ Marijuana smell. Come anytime to the buildings it reeks of it. Oh and also don't get mail and packages delivered here, because there are thieves here who would gladly take your packages, be it medicine, family heirloom items, anything they will take it. I didn't know when I signed up that I also need to sign up for a usps box at post office. And when you go to office and complain, their response is you need to talk to the sender about it and ask them to replace ans send a new one, we get too many packages and a lot of them get stolen anyway. Nothing we can do to help. So save your money and go to better apartments LA Pointe in Burnsville, Provence literally any other apartmwnt than this

Pros: Spacious apartments, dogs allowed, fitness center, pool. Management is friendly. Cons: Garbage everywhere, all the time. Buildings definitely need some updating: new carpet in hallways, paint. Not very clean either.

Woods of Burnsville is a friendly and comfortable place to live. The office and maintenance staff is great. Property manager Tyler is one of the best Property managerI've known.

All staff - office, maintenance, etc. have been extremely helpful and quick to solve any problems I have had. The apartment is spacious and the decks are huge - I have never seen any apartment or condo that has had the size decks we have! The community members are friendly - everyone says hi to each other, if you have a pet, everyone stops and introduces their pet to yours. I like how well maintained the buidlings and landscaping are - the apartment hallways are vacuumed every day, the elevator is vacuumed and mopped daily, and the landscaping is constantly being maintained. All staff I have encountered have been super friendly and are sure to wear their masks. I have never lived alone or in an apartment, and the leasing office staff made the moving in process smooth and they helped me every step of the way. The staff goes out of their way to address concerns and be as helpful and accomodating as possible. I am impressed with that, because as I was looking at apartments, several had reviews that said the staff is never available and never respond to complaints. The Woods is completely the opposite - the staff are always sure to be available whenever needed. Complaints are addressed almost immediately and there is always follow up to make sure the issue has been solved and to your satisfaction. So far it has been a great place to live.

I have only been at the Woods for 2 weeks. I have been impressed with the speed of which move-in concerns were handled by maintenance and the quality of the work they did. Everyone in the leasing office has been friendly and outgoing, and I thought Tyler went above and beyond by calling me after the first week to check on how my experience has been so far. I love taking my dog to the dog park twice a day! It has been a great way to meet my neighbors and for my dog to meet doggy friends. I have neighbors above, below, and on one side of me and sound has not been an issue. It's only been two weeks, but so far my experience has been great.

Just a wonderful place to live the neighbors are like family and lots of great kids that my grandsons love to play with and have made some very wonderful friends living here and the management do a wonderful job and are very nice people to help to with what ever your needs or problems you may have here all in all I would highly recommend living here if you are looking for a place to live with a huge lawn with pool for the kids to run around or play on the playground .

It is not worth paying that much amount of money for a place where the hallway is dirty, smells like cigarrets, neighbors are loud, the apartments are tore up when moving in and no painting at all on the kitchen cabinets or bathroom cabinet.

I appreciate the quality living at the Woods. They take great pride in providing a wonderful living experience for all of the residents. I have lived here 5 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. All concerns are handled quickly and with complete respect. I would highly recommend this apartment community to everyone as it is a great living experience.
