Property Ratings at The Williamsburg Apartments
Great location & nice that they assign a garage to all 2 bedroom tenants BUT…1. the old wooden floors creak terribly loud & you’ll always hear your neighbors floors as well as yours whenever anyone walks. Nothing is being done to fix this. 2. The front lawn on the S Fullerton Ave street side is deplorable. It looks run down as if you’re living in the hood & despite tenants complaining to the office & the landlord nothing is being done to beautify the lawn. They expect tenants to do the work on the lawn which is ridiculous & unheard of. The owner walks around the complex sometimes with the landlord & the fact that the eye sore doesn’t bother him says a lot about how little he cares. 3-no one can find the apartments because the lettering on the doors & buildings are so small & doesn’t stand out & not all parts of the complex has signs that direct people. So delivery people & visitors are always lost. 4. Seems the landlord vacuums the hallways which means it’s rarely clean. The building hallways smell & they’re filthy & take a long time to clean. The landlord manages about 4 apartment buildings in the neighborhood so our building cleanliness is frequently ignored. 5. Most tenants feel they cannot bring complaints to the ladies in management office cause they’re friends with the landlord who brags about their friendship alot. So there’s little trust there. 6- The temperature isn’t the same in each room. Something about how the rooms were built makes some rooms very hot & others very cold throughout the year. The list goes on, but if you don’t care about quality, you may be able to stand being a tenant here.
