As its name implies, the Medical District is home to multiple medical facilities including Parkland Memorial Hospital, UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Children’s Medical Center Dallas. The neighborhood is also home to several office buildings. Locals enjoy plenty of restaurant options that range from casual barbecue joints to fine dining establishments, but it’s common for residents to go outside of the neighborhood for an even wider selection. This urban neighborhood boasts an excellent location and is convenient to several of Dallas’ most popular areas including Downtown Dallas, Uptown, and the Design District. Interstate 35E and Medical/Market Center train station make traveling to these hotspots easier. Housing options include apartments, upscale high-rise lofts, and ranch-style houses.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Trousdale
Homeless people hang out in the pool area. The gates have not worked the entire time I have lived here. Since the property is not secure, several times people have gotten into the complex to steal things and break into cars. Several neighbors have complained about the grill not working despite requests to fix it. The AC in the gym does not work, and so I find it unusable.
trash everywhere, dumpsters overflowing, homeless come in and out and shop for whatever they want in the dumpsters because the gates are always broken and nobody fixes them
The apartment complex is not newly renovated as the doors are very old. The pool is super tiny as well as the fitness room. It’s about 2 treadmills, 2 bikes and weights. The gates are old and need redone. It’s ok, but not as described
The Trousdale is a very simple easy going community. The renovations have a clean modern look. I love the location!
Property Manager at The Trousdale, Responded To This Review
Thanks so much for the compliments to our community! We're so glad you like the clean and modern look and location of the Trousdale!
You should totally move here if you like trash everywhere, gates that haven't worked since February, car break ins, neighbors yelling and fighting, floors buckling, mold growing on walls and did I mention the neighbors? Pay the money you would pay here and move to a safer place
Ever since moving in they said there would be a patrol officer on site for surveillance and a tow company would be hired to ensure only tenants parked in the complex. They even made us get huge stickers to put on our wind shield that are practically useless. I constantly struggled to find parking here because the parking was not monitored like they promised. A bike was stolen off my front patio of my townhome and they only suggest to make a police report. I also called to report that their GATE WHICH IS LITERALLY ALWAYS BROKEN started to shut on me as I was pulling out of the complex and it scraped my car on both sides... they said they are not liable. So who would be? If your gate is ALWAYS broken and Im leaving where I live how are they not liable for their faulty gate? The girl that called me back and left a voicemail sounded like she lost a bet and was forced to call me back and leave a message on my phone saying theres nothing she can do about it. Theres dog poop everywhere and the dumpsters are always full. Trash everywhere. I was locked into a 15 month lease and I am so happy that it will be expiring soon so I can move out. I think I even sent in a 120+ day notice stating that I will not be renewing my lease because thats how ready I am to leave! Think long and hard and make this place your "last resort."
