My husband and I love our apartment and this area. It is hard to find affordable, nice apartments that are in a nice area. Not only this, but they have apartments that give a townhome feel and they have regular designed apartments. This is a very good find!

The staff at The Tennyson at Creek Village is absolutely incredible. They were very patient with me during my move in and at times I was not the most pleasant to talk to. They remained very professional and helpful. Overall this apartment complex is very clean and safe. I love the near by shops and park. I’m very happy with my decision to move here!

Overall, a positive experience- lots of natural light in apartment, friendly neighbors and access to walking. Close to a grocery store and restaurants. There are concerns about security, especially in the last 3 months.

We moved there after selling our home and waiting to build or purchase a new one— ended up being 2 years !! What a wonderful experience though! It was surprisingly very quiet with lovely landscape and restaurants in walking distance. The village area is clean and uplifting in its atmosphere. It’s kinda like living in a resort. Great gym and racquetball courts with lovely pool and hot tub. Loved walking in the area in the evenings. Beautiful and felt very safe. We will miss living there actually and have great memories! Thanks to everyone.

The rental property is poorly managed by money-hungry soulless owners. So over-priced. The facilities are very limited. Noise is out of control between the partying, super thin walls, and maintenance people who blow leaves at 8 weekly. Personal property is stolen all time. Don’t live here!

The Cons 1. COST! It is very expensive and not worth the fees. Monthly rent is more than a monthly mortgage. And they charge you for things that you may not even use. For example, you will have to pay a monthly fee to have a parking space even if you do not own a car or plan to use it, you still have to pay this fee. If you need a second space for a housemate, you will need to purchase a second space. You are given one fob per apartment. If you want more, you have to pay for that. 2. NOISE! It is apartment living. You will hear all of the noises and feel the vibrations of noises in your neighboring apartments. Additionally, some tenants like to party and you will hear it. There is no security or evening staff person who you can contact directly. You have to contact Eugene police and file a noise complaint which may not do much. 3. SAFETY. I have some items stolen from the locked bike barns on property. The code to get in is really easy to figure out and unfortunately things have gotten stolen. 4. Small gym. There is very limited equipment, and some is missing that would be needed. For example, there is no seat next to the sitting lat pulldown. So, you can't even use it as it is designed.

The area is quite and well maintained by the staffs and workers. If you have a problem with your area they will go out of there ways to get things done and they do it respectfully. The area is only walking distance away from some amazing restaurants and bar and also close to two major groceries stores.

Very nice design of the apartment that has the convenience of residents living in mind. Parking has not been an issue, as in some other places. Close to shopping spots. The new Winco Food does make things even better.

The Tennyson is a fantastic community with tons of amenitie sincluding a heated year-round pool, hot tub, parcel lockers, dog walkways, and a great clubhouse with a gym. I find the area to be quiet overall but with a lively area nearby in Crescent Village. The village itself has some great brewpubs and bars, a sushi place, a pho restaurant, a salon, a burn bootcamp, and even an art studio for events. I really like that everything is wihtin walking distance and you can enjoy additional amenities nearby like Costco, Winco (coming soon), a bakery/cafe, a few other restaurants, a convenience store, and much more. Good walkways for the dogs with lots of clean up stations and the maintenance staff does a good job of cleaning up anything that's left behind. Other staff at The Tennyson are very helpful and friendly and they often go above and beyond to build a better community. Floor plans are abundant and we enjoy the spaciousness and newness of our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom. The place was spotless when we moved in, which has never happened in many years of moving. Great added touches like key fobs for community access, care package upon move-in, ample communication, etc.

When I first moved into the Tennyson my unit was dirty. The carpets were stained, the carpet wasn't stretched, and overall house had a bad odor to it. The bathroom drains were also full of clogged hair which the maintenance team needed to unclog. The movers I hired to bring my things into the unit could only put my items on the 2nd floor (hardwood floor) because my carpets needed to be cleaned. I was very frustrated and spoke to the leasing office about this. Because they couldn't get my carpets cleaned until the next week 2 members of the office assured me that the maintenance team would help move my items once the carpets were clean. However, once it came time for that I was told it was a liability and they couldn't do it. I had to sleep in my living room for a week and wasnot be able to unpack (which I had taken time off work to have time to do). I live alone so I couldn't move my items myself and I pretty much wasted a lot of money on the movers I had paid. Overall super frustrating experience. I don't believe it was handled professionally at all. Nobody in the office was on the same page and I was getting different answers every time I came into the office.

As a person that owns numerous commercial real estate properties (including apartments) I am highly satisfied with the cleanliness of the complex and streets, the prompt responses on maintenance issues and the compliance the residents with cleaning up after their dogs. I'm very happy that the pool recently opened and it is heated to a great temperature. I love the convenient location of The Tennyson and seeing large dogs walk by daily.

Pool is never open, hot tub is never open either, dog grooming station is never open, gym never has appointments available so you cant use ANY amenities ever (which is ALL why I rented here to begin with) the dog park is full of MULCH and no grass. No compassion for people going through loss of employment due to Covid and they'll charge you all fees if you have to break lease even though you've paid rent every month throughout. No compassion what so ever for what people are going through during this time. I signed my lease and upon move-in was told my AC unit was broken. It took over 2 weeks to get it fixed after I signed my lease thinking my apartment was "move in ready". Upon entering I found a white construction mask hanging on the back of my door and my shower door refused to open. I called the front office and they had someone come in and cut a small piece off the shower door and said that was all they could do. It still doesn't open properly. Upon move in they had paint foot prints all over my front and back patio, had to call them to come spray it off. Its still there! They have no compassion and only care about taking your money. My back patio borders a junk yard and they had to put it on special because no one wants to look at it, now that I have to terminate early due to Covid, they are making me pay it all back. How apathetic! Horrible experience here. There are better companies to rent for that are approaching sensitive situations with Covid and unexpected unemployment much better then this apartment complex. They're charging me almost 4 grand because of a Covid related situation I cant control that's making me move out of state. Just a heads up for future residents!

Have lived here almost a year, it has been a huge disappointment, and feel is not accurately represented. If don't want to read whole review *main takeaway* is that I would not recommend moving into this complex even to a person I disliked. Signed lease for locksley floor plan (2 story 1 bedroom) since was told all other 1 bedroom's were ground floor with residents living in units above and having no one above me would be quieter. Though more expensive that felt like would be worth the extra cost. I was wrong. The apartments have VERY thin walls and are stacked in a way so there is constant noise from units on either side. Massive window in bedroom lets light flood in both day and night since carport lights right outside are on 24/7 making sleep very difficult. When the sun is out going from downstairs to the bedroom upstairs feels like going from a comfortable living space to an extra hot sauna. The only AC is downstairs which isn't helpful seeing as heat rises. The "dog park" is pretty much a standing room only rectangle and there is a big issue with people not cleaning up their dog's waste. Even before COVID lockdown the advertised community get togethers that were schedules kept getting canceled. Washing machine leaked everywhere after first use and was promised a new one would be provided so wouldn't have the same issue (after the week of workers in and out plus loud fans blasting day and night). When the old leaking washer was being carried out water was pouring onto the wood floor and muddy boot prints were getting tracked everywhere which I was left to clean up. Was very frustrating due to needing to use towels I wouldn't be able to clean and also the incredibly detailed lease made me worry I would be responsible if there was any water damage. The "new" washing machine that I was given is 100% not new which I could instantly tell since makes a terribly loud sound whenever is in use. Also random plug sockets don't work but after my washing machine experience have been too hesitant to call maintenance again. Though I understand amenities not being open due to COVID there isn't any rent cut and the swimming pool/hot tub has been running for the entire time. Not only feels a bit like someone putting a plate of fresh delicious brownies in front of you but saying you can't have any every time walk by it but also for a complex that advertises as valuing energy efficiency doesn't make much sense.

I have lived here for almost a year now and have been very disappointed. I signed my lease based on what I had been told by staff and testimonials but feel multiple areas were falsely represented. The Locksley style (2 story 1 bedroom) was more expensive but since I was told the other 1 bedroom apartment's were on the ground floor so noisier with residents living above, a quieter living space seemed worth it. I was wrong. The units are partially overlapping plus VERY thin walls (ex/ can hear my neighbor snoring) I might as well be living in a ground floor apartment with loud neighbors above me. A coworker who lives here as well said they deal with the same frustration. I was told there were community events. Even before COVID restrictions came into place there had been 3 planned social events that were all canceled. The "dog park" is really a small standing room only rectangle. When warm out the difference between the downstairs and the upstairs bedroom is significant (comfortable living area vs a sauna). The only air conditioner is downstairs which is not helpful at all since heat rises. The massive window in the bedroom (from the ground to the top it is 10 feet) the cheap plastic blinds. Might not be an issue especially during the day but the lights for carports outside the window are on 24/7 light floods in at night making sleep difficult. I could go on if no word limit but *main takeaway*= I wouldn't recommend moving into this complex even to someone I disliked.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to our new townhome . The community is clean and inviting, friendly staff, dog friendly and we look forward to waking around the community .
