Overall, it's a pretty good complex. The mail system is annoying at times as packages can end up in three different places. I don' really care for the lazy people that can't seem to throw trash in the chute and leave it on the floor or the lazy people that continue to smoke on the fourth-floor stairwell and put their cigs out on the walls. I would pay a little extra to have cameras in those places. Seems picky but I do pay a lot to live here. Thanks.

The community is conviniently situated in the heart of Fairfax city with most services within a commutable distance. The staff is very professional and friendly and will go an extra mile to provide solutions to any issue. This apartment building is both really nice and in a nice area. There are a ton of shops nearby as well as a local metro station. The staff are kind and helpful - both in the office and maintenance. They are quick to help with what I need. I would definitely recommend living here.

Ridgewood is an outstanding community, particularly for dog owners, given its dog-friendly environment. The elevator still doesn’t work, it’s a very dark community with almost no lighting, lack of security, lack of cameras, unupdated call box, the hallways smell like urine, the hallway carpets are nasty they all look very dirty, maintenance of the building is really bad

Dont move here. Management is terrible. They don’t answer the phones at rental office. No one gets up to help you when you walk in rental office. They took the ability to handle anything financially away from rental office and moved it to a separate payment team office. Terrible decision. Made communication and resolving issues worse.

I highly recommend living at The Ridgewood by Windsor. The building is in a good location close to my school. There are shops downstairs including a pizza place. The leasing office associates are nice and my neighbors are friendly.
I have lived at The Ridgewood by Windsor going on three years. This is by far the nicest building that I have lived at since moving to the U.S. The staff in the leasing office are lovely. The maintenance is exceptional. I have referred a number of my friends to live here.
Ridgewood by Windsor Community is a great community. The location allows my commute to work fair. The leasing agents are kind and always go above and beyond when assistance is needed.
Very nice Expensive for just a one bedroom, not spacious Extras are great Wonderful location ( seller!) Internet is average , could be improved Bedroom needs to be bigger . Hallways need cleaning

Staff and maintenance team are great. However, the appliances are very outdated and tend to not work up to par. There is only so much maintenance can do with repairs on outdated appliances. The grounds are beautiful but the curbside appeal has been tarnished . Newer tenants leave shopping carts from the grocery store on the side street and side entrance of the building. Trash is often left too.

Was excited when i first moved in then and then it just declined and I am looking forward to my lease end. Do your self a favor and really research the property from the trash rooms daily upkeep to the public doors that are fob but never really closed or lock or the fob doesn't function. I would just not recommend this property for your home.

Maintenance is absolutely amazing! They are always willing to help in any way they can!
We applied for the Ridgewood apartment right after the viewing and we got approved within an hour. We love the area.

From touring the apartment complex , to working with the leasing agent and move-in the process was smooth.
We loved this apartment, its peace and security is great. The only thing missing is there is no playground. Everything is great, even if it is a playground for children. It is very pleasant to live in this complex.
The maintenance team response time has been exceptional during my nearly 2 years stay here.
Two requests were made for this maintenance order. Three days delay in a maintenance response. We were not informed of the updated status of this request, i.e., a new microwave was ordered. An updated status was not given to us by the maintenance team or the office.
Poor response to acute concerns like trash room filled with trash on the floor multiple complaints no quick response Stairway door fob not working for 2 weeks until it was fixed delay slow maintenance
I have stayed at the Ridge Wood for over 8 years and continue to live there. Very clean, neat and very peaceful. Walking distance to Wegmans and just beautiful surroundings.
In 13 years, maintenance team has always taken care of my maintenance request!
I have lived here for 5 years. This apartment community has everything I need & desire. I will stay here for years to come, as long as the rates stay fair.
I have been living at The Ridgewood by Windsor for 3 years now and I love it here. The apartments are spacious and visually appealing. The amenities are A+ and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s also in a very convenient location - everything I need is within a mile. 10/10 recommend!!
Nice building and friendly staff. My room mate and I have been here for a few months and have nothing but great things to say about the Ridgewood.
Great location, great building, great staff. My 1br apartment is a good size for 2 plus a dog. The clubroom and 24 hour gym are a nice bonus. Management recently renovated the courtyard grilling area and are now updating the hallways. I can sometimes hear my neighbors but what can you do, it’s an apartment not a stand alone house. Overall, a great place to live.
Since I moved in on a weekend I did not get the full staff experience as only one staff portion was available. My parking permit was not ready and was for the wrong permit type. No one walked me to my room and I still haven't heard back on my move in report with issues in the apartment. That being sad I do love the apartment and the amenities. The apartment feels spacious for its size and I'm enjoying it overall. Also,having a gym a few feet away is great and there is a nice selection of equipment.

The buildings are nice,the office staff is great and very responsive on requests. The gym and local stores are easy to use.There are a host of office promoted events for residents and these are enjoyable. The rules for respecting each other as tenants are strong but seem hard to enforce. Smoking,middle of the night loud noise, and trash thrown on the grounds seem too hard for a small team to handle.
