Property Ratings at The Residences at Sawmill Station
I honestly love the Sawmill Residence apartments! The amenities are excellent, and it's clear they're very dog-friendly. The major drawback, though, is the severe tick problem. I get that they can't spray the forest preserve, but it's incredibly frustrating. Ticks aren't just an issue deep in the preserve; they're even bad near the building. My dog inevitably gets at least five ticks on him after just a five-minute walk around the building, not even in the forest preserve (because we know that's already worse), without fail. If they could just treat these common walkways and the immediate grassy areas around the buildings, it would make a world of difference for pet owners. Otherwise, the location next to the beautiful forest preserve is wonderful
