My wife and I just moved in and it couldn't have been easier. Front office/Leasing staff are friendly and responsive. If we needed anything, they were there to help. The apartment complex is located on Cityline and close to a lot of great restaurants and access roads. Best part is our apartment is really quiet. The hallways are clean and the trash chute areas are clean and well maintained. We had a couple of requests for maintenance after we moved in and the next day, Friday before Memorial Day weekend, maintenance was at our door and our requests were taken care of. Maintenance is awesome. So far this has been a great move.

Ever since property management changed it’s been unkept here. Also the front office people are uncomfortable. Super fake until you actually need assistance with something. They don’t care. This is a large community so can’t lay blame only on the Register because residents here that NEVER pick up after their dogs or properly dispose of their own trash (See trash chutes) Don’t even bother getting a unit facing the pool. When it gets warmer it’s non stop all night long. The units themselves are nice. If the new property management can better organize their responsibilities that’d be a good start.

Have been living at The Register for about 7 months now, and can’t help but notice the decline in cleanliness and overall care. Trash rooms are constantly full with overflowing smelly garbage due to the trash compactor not functioning correctly and only working half the time. Both trash can areas in mail room haven’t been touched in weeks, and with the influx of holiday packages loading up the lockers, they have been leaving packages amongst the pile of junk mail around the counter areas. Walked out to the parking garage a few nights ago and all lights are off at top level, leaving every car in pitch black darkness. I typically don’t worry for my safety walking to and from my car since it is a gated parking garage, but definitely do when the front parking garage gate has been blown out of commission for the last month. While the apartment homes themselve are nice, I don’t think they quite justify the high cost(probably most expensive apartment within 15-20 miles), especially when the community is in the state it is in. Hope things will make a turn for the better, or I will not be renewing my lease.

This place was great at first but everything sucks now and it is not worth the price. The trash rooms are literally always full and piled high because the chutes don't work. The hallways stink of weed (we moved here specifically because it is non smoking and have a lung disorder). There is constant noise issues that are never fixed. Maintenance doesn't respond to all calls (we tried to have our carpet and bathroom fixed multiple times since moving in and it was never resolved). The hallways are dirty and the community has also gone downhill with multiple packages getting stolen and no events anymore. Look elsewhere as you can get much better places for way cheaper than this "luxury" apartment complex

Paper thin walls, can hear people on other floors snoring at night, maintenance issues take months to resolve with numerous emails back and forth. Trash disposal has been broken for over a month and trash spills out into the garage regularly. Packages get lost all the time. Awful experience, would not recommend.

We've lived here for about four months or so now, and so far the communication has been so bad that we're resorting to a negative review to hopefully get a phone call. Since late May, our A/C has gone out four times, and every single time someone comes in they do a "quick fix", or replace the filter as if this is the first time it's gone out. It feels like no one has even seen our list of work orders just for the A/C and put it together that maybe somethings actually wrong with our system. We would've emailed this in, but all of our emails go unnoticed so it feels like there's no point. We called the emergency maintenance line last night at 10:15PM and the woman chuckled when I told her that our A/C was out and said "Again.? Is it the same problem you were experiencing on the 17th?!" -- Now I'm sitting here at 8:23AM and no one has called me to tell me when they can come look at our A/C as if it isn't summer in Texas.

When I moved in, the property was beautiful and quiet and maintenance requests were filled quickly. NOW...the hallways smell like weed, the garage is ALWAYS broken, and management gives the excuse that the "parts are on backorder"..for months. You can hardly ever get a good nights rest because you either hear your neighbors snoring through the thin walls, or because of the loud, disruptive neighbors who have parties at the pool at all hours of the night. I'm surprised that there aren't rats crawling around the parking garage yet because the residents can't be bothered to take the extra two steps to throw the trash down the chute. Getting maintenance requests filled requires several requests to be submitted, emails or phone calls, or finally a visit to actually speak with someone in the office for your request to be filled. I seriously cannot wait until my lease is up. I'd rather pay a little more to have a comfortable living experience. Gave the extra star because its near a nice walking trail, Whole Foods and good restaurants.

I’ve lived here about a month now and all I can say is RENT HERE!! I did a ton of research on apartments and this one definitely stood out from them all. As soon as I toured I knew I was going to sign! It’s only loud at the pool on weekends until 10pm, otherwise it’s VERY quiet. Like you would think I had zero neighbors by how quiet this apartment is! (which is great because I work from home and it’s wonderful). Very clean, zero problems with parking, close walking distance to amazing restaurants. Definitely recommend!

It started out great but rapidly the community declined. Management doesn't care what any one does. Loud parties all the time,especially in the pool all hours of the night. Cars get broken into,because the garage gates are always broken. It has been broken now for a month and has been broken several times before that. You can't ever use the pool because there are always a bunch of screaming loud drunk college kids in it. Pretty much every weekend there is an extremely loud party in the common area. The hallways always smell terrible. My lease can't be up soon enough.

The Register is a new apartment complex in Richardson but every since we moved here, their service has been exceptional.
