The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Place at Briarcrest
We have had issues with the AC going on 2 months now. We’ve requested a fix at least 10-15 times and the guy comes out and replaces the filter or switches the breaker.. we have always paid rent and we can’t get AC, the thing runs all day can’t hold the temp below 78 degrees when set at 68-70. At this point we are paying $500 plus on electric for a 2 bedroom apartment… when AC was working we would be paying $140. This place can’t fix anything. Avoid at all costs.

They don’t complete your maintenance request. They take a lot of time to work on any request. And the management is very rude and they don’t care about the residents. The apartment is very very old.

The management is bad and all they care about is money..The apartments are old and poorly insulated.. seasonal infestation of ants and there are bedbugs… they make you sigh a bedbug addendum upon move in so when you move in they charge you 200 dollars for extermination that they should’ve done.

I just moved in there apartments February 9 2019.My second day I saw a dead roach. It looked like they had someone repaint over the dead roaches and dropping in the cabinets. There’s paint over the floor in the kitchen and the bathrooms. Than there’s a drying in the unit that doesn’t even dry clothes. So far I’m looking for another apartment, I’m very disappointed with this place.

Briarcrest Apartments, was truly an awful experience. When we first moved in the office staff was very nice and helpful. Once Bell Partners took over the property, the customer service aspect went out the window. On one hand I understand that taking over a new property is going to have some set backs, but the transition should still not be so hindering on a resident. The manager at the time was so incompetent(Amber). She never had any clue on what was going on in her office. Her staff of course fell short in almost every aspect due to that. To get anyone to even answer a phone call would be days and when you would come in, the environment was always hostile. Work orders took weeks to resolve and the maintenance men would go in your apartments and act so unprofessional. We had many problems with this property, but the main one is that when we decided to break our lease due to it being such a nightmare..( which we paid in full to get out off) the move out was even worse. It took 3 months for them to give us our bill, mind you we emailed, called , and went in person. When we finally received it, they charged us for basically "their renovations" ,the apartment was in good shape. I was smart enough to take pictures before I turned in the keys. I don't ever write reviews because I feel like sometimes they wont be helpful, since people write them in a very biased way when they are mad. Also in a very thoughtless way. Yet I'm writing this 4 months later, because if I can help someone get some insight before they move, I at least did my part. I will say, that the experience here has made me work that much harder on making sure my residents get the best service they can get. Since I work in property management as well.

I have lived here for 3 years and the only reason I stay is because of the school district that my kids go to. It's in a great spot and area rite near the highway, but overall experience is awful. They have had 3 different management owners and they all suck. They don't have any form of communication with each other. They try to one up each other and there are new people that work there every week and they don't know anything about what is going on. The apartment is not updated or anything. The mantinece people are HORRIBLE. THEY were suppose to fix my toilet and it still runs,I have to lift up top and push down on the inside to make it stop. We have put in over 40 service request and they have did none. If u want to pay this much go head but you can find a better apartment for the same amount. But like I say it's all for my kids

Hmm. Decent location a few minutes from the train station. The apartment is outdated and the "Gym" they advertise is non-existent (a couple treadmills and a broke machine). The rooms are average size and maintenance is good. Management seems to work well. Overall, I will not be staying here long term.

These apartments are pretty nice. Updated stove and fridge, but the cabinets and countertops are super old!! Beautiful wood floors, clean carpets and walls. Pool is a little small and there's only one. Laundry facility is small as well and there is no change machine! lol...Play area isn't that good if you have kids...The location is pretty nice and surrounding stores are pretty good: Wal-mart, Lowe's, I-Hop, Office Max, tons of fast food, Wendy's, Panda Express, Chick-fil-a, Popeye's. Lots of schools nearby as well. Elementary and High. Kind of sits back in the cut so you're not bothered with lots of traffic. Overall pretty nice, you basically pay for the location. Very safe and quiet.

I've greatly enjoyed my time at Briarcrest. The area is pretty quiet, even being very close to I-35 and the Bush. Which comes in handy, cause you're very close to 4 major highways, including 121 and DNT in the mix with 35 and Bush. Lots of great restaurants in the area. The staff is friendly and generally pretty good about taking care of issues quickly. The pool is nice, but small. Same with the fitness center. A lot of families are living here. Everyone I've talked to/encountered has been very friendly, just keep an eye out for kids when you're driving through. Move in here. You won't be disappointed.
