The Mitchell

Living in an apartment complex was a really enjoyable experience. The sense of community was great, with neighbors always friendly and helpful. The amenities, like the gym and pool, added convenience and fun to daily life. Plus, the maintenance team was always quick to address any issues, making everything feel well taken care of. It felt like a comfortable, easygoing place to call home.

It's good so far. I do have an issue with my smoke detector beeping when it's out of battery. I also like the pool and the events here so far

The Mitchell Rocks!….Coming up on our four year anniversary at The Mitchell. My wife and I, are looking forward to signing our third lease in a few months. Calling The Mitchell, our home for the past three years has been very satisfying. The leasing office staff, the maintenance personnel, the concierge personnel as well as the community events planning team, are very welcoming and professional. Not to mention the property inside and out is very well maintained. Keep up the great work.

Nice apartment. Great dog park. The building is mostly well kept. Some residents are gross and treat it like a hotel. A lot of things break here and take forever to fix; i.e elevators, golf simulator, pool, garage door… etc. multiple breaks and out of services for extended periods of times. Sometimes months

The Mitchell is a nice building, new apartments, amenities and great management. Maintenance is very responsive. On the improvements side, the gym while is spacious could use more workout machines . At this time the number of machines is limited and there is very minimal or none use of some: cycling bikes (too many), boxing machine, not enough elliptical, no arms and shoulders machines. The AC unit is in each apartment which is great but the position of it in the bedrooms is not great as it blows very strong in your face . The water filter is no longer paid so that’s an extra cost.

I’ve had a great experience living at this apartment. The building is well-maintained, and any maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally. The management team is friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. The neighborhood is safe and convenient, with shops, restaurants, and public transportation nearby. My unit is spacious, quiet, and gets great natural light. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to live!

Great vibe and space. Only issues I have are the small parking garage and narrow parking spaces and the placement of the smoke detectors right over the stove/oven—It gets set off so easily!

Wonderful living experience! Everyone is so friendly and management is great! It’s also very peaceful, despite being in the middle of a main street

Love the space and amenities and people are nice. We arrived with little expectations and stay for a year. We are deep in our 2nd year and still happy. It would be nice to have better appliances in the apt to measure up to the rent price. But can’t have it all.

The Mitchell is centrally located next to everything in Downtown White Plains. The staff and maintenance and concierge are great. I enjoyed living here. It definitely improved with time.

Of all the luxury buildings I’ve been in, I must say The Mitchell is by far the best! I feel like I’m living in a 5 star hotel! Love the vibes and my neighbors are the best!

I like the fact that the new team has interesting new events. I do wish there was a way for residents to network more since there's a bunch of lawyers living here

I really do love living at The Mitchell! The community events are great, all of the building staff are wonderful, and all of our maintenance requests have been handled same day. The facilities are fairly well kept and the pool is great in the summer. The one thing I do think is important to know, do not move here if you don't like dogs. Many residents have dogs and there is some noise (barking in the halls sometimes). All in all though, a great place to live right in downtown white plains.

I sent in a maintenance request and Jose was there within minutes. He fixed the problem right away. I was extremely satisfied with the way it was handled.

I’ve lived at The Mitchell in White Plains for a while now, and overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a modern, well-located apartment. The building offers great amenities, including a fitness center, lounge spaces, and a rooftop area, which are all well-maintained and add to the appeal of the community. The units themselves are nicely designed, with modern finishes, spacious layouts, and large windows that bring in a lot of natural light. The location is also a major plus—White Plains has plenty of restaurants, shops, and easy access to public transportation, making it a convenient spot for commuters.

Leasing people are rude. The Golf simulator is always broken. No point in paying an amenity fee if we can’t use anything. Cleanliness is always spot on. Excited to use the pool this summer but won’t be surprised if that’s broken too.

The location of the apartment is really great if you like living in a city. It’s located by a ton of restaurants and bars. It’s also very close to the train station.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience living in this apartment community! From the moment I moved in, I felt at home. The building is beautifully maintained, always clean, and has fantastic amenities that truly make life easier and more enjoyable. Whether it’s the fitness center, pool, or shared spaces, everything is well-kept and inviting.

One of the biggest things I appreciate about The Mitchell is the sense of security I feel by living here. There is a 24-hour door man and they give you access to a mobile app that helps you manage your guests and visitor access to the building. The apartment building is also in a safe part of town while still being right in the middle of everything. Tenants are friendly.

Relatively seamless move in. Concierge was very accommodating. I love the building. I feel safe and a bit pampered. I appreciate my neighbors who seem like very nice private people. Only cons so far are very fixable. I noticed the snow cleanup is is slow and a bit late when the exit to the garage is iced over and the fire alarm seems to be going off quite often which is very alarming. Other than that I feel relatively safe in the garage and love being in such a walking friendly environment. I must mention Holly in the leasing office was an absolute pleasure and made this process so easy for me.

Coming up on our three year anniversary living at The Mitchell. My wife and I have enjoyed our home and all the amenities that The Mitchell offers. The leasing office personnel, the concierge personnel and maintenance personnel are very professional and friendly. And let’s not forget our Apartment Life Coordinator’s, Andy and Allison. They are very nice, welcoming and friendly.

Lovely quiet place with all the amenities you could ever need. I don’t ever want to leave my apartment. The monthly events are also super awesome!!!

Great living at the Mitchell and just renewed my lease until 2026. This is a great place to live and if you have a dog there's no where else to live but here.

The building is meticulously maintained and the staff is always nice. I love my unit, it's absolutely the most beautiful apartment I've ever lived in.

I have enjoyed my stay here so far. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. We are close to the trains and the bus terminals. We are close to necessary stores and restaurants. We are glad we chose to live here.

The Mitchell is the perfect rental location! Easily walkable to everything you need, including Metro North to NYC. Apartments are spacious with modern details and styling. Amenities are plentiful and well maintained - rooftops, pool, BBQ, and two gyms!!!

I like the dog park a lot. I also like the events and the new cafe. I do want to have more of a law student-lawyer mixer event too since Pace is nearby

After living here for 2 years, we have happily renewed our lease. Most of the early kinks that most new buildings have, have been ironed out. We continue to love our spacious, modern apartment with all its conveniences as well as the White Plains small city vibe. The building is well maintained and the cleaning crew is always around and busy. And I must commend the maintenance staff. We have never waited for more than 24 hours for non essential help in our apartment. The staff in the leasing office is always friendly , extremely helpful ,and very patient in answering the questions and concerns of 2 very senior citizens. The communication to residents is usually very timely. We look forward to our next year at The Mitchell.

The building has its flaws just like every building in America. The Mitchell staff especially Alex is very easy to approach and to have a discussion with and will help fix the situation. So my advice is if you have a problem you should reach out to Alex and discuss it with her

While we have overall enjoyed our first month living at The Mitchell, we have encountered several issues pertaining to the way the building itself has been built, the appliances within our unit, and the management/maintenance team. With the issues we are facing - major water leak now in our unit due to poor piping, washer/dryer smells and dis function, and amenities being closed without warning before signing our lease, we would expect a much faster response time and higher quality service from the staff. We have not received the help and support necessary as tenants of the building. The building itself is beautiful and a nice place to live at a glance, but action needs to be taken in order to ensure renters are being given the living experience they were PROMISED when signing their lease.

I am loving the events each and every month! The addition of the door decorating contest was genius! Can’t wait to see what else is in store

Loving it so far at The Mitchell! Really feel management goes out of their way to host various events for tenant engagement. Best community I’ve been a part of this yet!

Everything has been great so far! Really enjoy the monthly activities, looking forward to Sip & Paint! Just wish there was at least a small part of a rooftop that allowed dogs. Sad to be paying so much to have my dog in my apartment and don’t feel that I’m getting my money’s worth for a $700 initial dog fee monthly $50 pet rent. So just wish there were more activities or spaces for the dogs

I love living at the Mitchell! It's a fantastic location in a Beautiful building. You won't be disappointed if you decide to live here. It is a short walk to the metro north and great restaurants minutes from your front door. Also great amenities.

On the whole... I think the building and location are great. The only drawback is I can hear my upstairs neighbour walking around in their apartment.
