The Metropolitan

I love living at the metropolitan. The community is quiet, friendly, and well maintained. The staff are also great; the maintenance team is super responsive and the front office is good about sending updates and helping with any issues that arise.

The Metropolitan has the best location - Metro, shopping, restaurants. The staff is the friendly and hard working. Really excited about the pending renovation of the building!

I have lived at the wonderful Metropolitan Apartments for about 2 years and I am just as thrilled now as when I moved in. The place is lovely, clean and well managed. The staff is amazing - friendly and professional. I feel safe and taken care of. Love it.

We recently moved in to this community and felt very welcomed and supported. All the staff is very friendly and warm, they take care of your needs right away. We will gladly recommend this community to our friends and family.

My experience so far at the Metropolitan has been stellar. The staff made the application process seamless. They answered every question and addressed all my concerns without hesitation. It is an immaculate and well-maintained building. I am so very excited to move in to this one-of-a-kind downtown Bethesda residence.

I have had the pleasure of living at the Metropolitan Apartments for nearly 2 years. I heartily recommend the Metropolitan to anyone I can tell. My apartment is lovely; the building is spotless and super well maintained; the staff is caring and lovely; my concerns are few and always immediately addressed; I feel safe and happy here; I have quick access to a wonderful downtown Bethesda and all the public transportation available to me; I enjoy the building's amenities and the many opportunities I am given to socialize; I enjoy a community of respectful neighbors. Just can't say enough good things about this place.

Fantastic location. Building staff, especially receptions and maintenance/housekeeping, are super! This is an older building in downtown Bethesda. There's no glitz and glamour and fancy stuff, but it's close to stores, shops, restaurants. The Met is a quiet place and fellow residents are nice.

Great staff, great and efficient maintance team, fantastic neightbors, best location, clean and well cared for building - all around fantastic and so happy to be living here!

My experience living here the last 7 months has been very pleasant and peaceful. I can’t wait to explore more when the weather gets warmer. I have attended some of the events such as the End of Summer and Christmas Party as well as the Christmas Story evenings. I also enjoyed the Taste of Bethesda around the corner. I have not regretted moving here and the staff and residents are quite friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic Apartment Complex. The front desk is excellent - I never lose mail. Security is fantastic; no one enters the building without the front desk knowing. Also maintenance requests are promptly completed. Overall - I've live here for almost a year and have truly enjoyed this place.

I loved the the entire personnel from leasing office to CONCIERGE to maintance crew very professional very friendly and welcoming I mean to stay for while. Thank you Metropolitan apartment to providing this quality personal.

The location is perfect, close to many facilities like grocery stores, restaurants and metro station. Management and staff are professional and friendly.

The location is the only good thing about this apartment. The hot water is not reliable. The microwave and appliances are old and sloppy. And the amount of times my place is entered is ridiculous. This month it is like every week and I don’t even have time to check my email before another entrance is announced. This place does not appreciate boundaries

Living at Metropolitan has been amazing! The staff is friendly, maintenance is prompt, and the amenities are top-notch. The location is convenient with shops and transit nearby. It's a safe, clean, and welcoming community that truly feels like home!

I am 200% happy with living at the Metropolitan Apartments. The place is super clean, very well maintained and perfectly convenient to shops, groceries, and transportation. The staff is always pleasant, kind, helpful, professional, friendly and efficient. I enjoy my balcony and on nice days leave the door to the balcony open so I can enjoy the outside. It's great.

The Metropolitan works well for us. The location is convenient, steps from Metro and bus and easy to walk to Bethesda Row and Woodmont Triangle shops as well as so many grocery stores. The concierge staff and maintenance and housekeeping are friendly and very helpful. With all the new construction going up in downtown Bethesda, we appreciate the solid quality of the Met and are appreciative of the efforts of the management team to keep the building nice and spruced up.

I continue to be amazed and delighted by the warmth and enthusiasm that l experience living in this beautiful community and environment at The Metropolitan.

Metropolitan has a perfect location, friendly staff and is close to many public parking. Having amenities such as swimming pool and gym is a big plus.

The wonderful staff at the Metropolitan Apartments strikes again....I wanted to get a more convenient parking spot in the garage and all I had to do was ASK. They made it happen instantly. So happy.

Metropolitan is a nice community. Great location to downtown Bethesda and Metro. Concierge front staff and maintenance staff are top notch. Building is older but has a nice settled feel. Metropolitan neighbors are considerate of each other. A little sprucing up would be nice- hall carpets, common areas, etc.

Thank you for a heart warming welcome when l moved in yesterday. A very refreshing start to my stay here at the Metropolitan and l am looking forward to a very enjoyable and exciting experience at this lovely environment.

We love the Metropolitan! The building is well maintained, the staff is responsive and competent, and the location, of course, is the biggest advantage. I would particularly highlight our concierge Tia, who makes everyone feel special, as though they were Ritz-Carlton guests. I also value the diversity of our residents. We have residents from many different countries - sort of a mini- UN - and people of widely varying ages. I like that a lot. Another thing I appreciate is my feeling of security. I feel completely safe here, with fobs used for entrance and with 24 hour security staff. The manager Leonard is very responsive to input from residents. I have recommended The Metropolitan to others.

I haven’t lived here very long. I’m not the best one to review because I’ve had very bad luck ever since I moved in. Great location but my cats cannot enjoy the balcony because the near building blocks the sun and the vibration of the traffic scares one of them. My experience here is bad luck and no hot water in the mornings unless I run it 15 min.

We just moved in yesterday and So far so good. No complaints. Love the area and how quiet the apartment is. Could not be in a better location.

Concierge have been brilliant, always helpful and engaged! I had some hiccups in the beginning but maintenance is prompt and I love the area.

The metropolitan is a fantastic apartment complex. The staff is very friendly, the facility is in excellent condition and well maintained, and there are numerous social events.

This is a great place to live in bethesda. The 24 hour front desk staff is very good and leasing team very up to date with rules and regulations within the metropolitan building.

I’m so happy with my move. The noise of the city has been a small adjustment, but I love my new neighborhood. The staff is super nice and maintenance is super quick and helpful. I would definitely recommend!’

Great community of people - staff is top. Location is ideal - Metro, bus, grocery stores. Not upscale fancy but a nice solid place to live.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of being a resident in this place since April of 2023. It’s been, truly, a treat. From the incredible front desk people like Tia, Scott and several others, to John in the leasing office along with Tracy, Leonard and others too, you feel like you’re a part of the community rather than just a tenant. Every single person is warm, inviting and absolutely a blast to talk with. The apartment itself, with its in unit laundry as well as beautiful views, nice appliances and wonderful amenities all managed by the amazing maintenance crew on staff, who are just as friendly and warm as everyone else who you’ll find here, it’s hard to go wrong with this wonderful place. I can’t recommend this place enough! I hope I’ll continue to be here for several years. Let us hope the rental market remains reasonable haha!

Great location for transportation, grocery shopping, Bethesda Row. Concierge staff are great as are maintenance guys. Hardworking housekeeping group work hard to keep the building nice.

Helpful staff, excellent location and nice environment! Always clean and tidy. A bit pricy but all places in close distance are equally or even more expensive. Overall, a great place to live!

I have lived at the Metropolitan for more than 4 months and I am so glad I chose this lovely apartment building. The management is excellent, friendly, helpful, efficient and effective. I feel safe. It's super clean. You can't beat the location. I enjoy the staff, who go above and beyond. I hope this honeymoon never ends.

Pretty nice place to live. The staff is always available and helpful (though they can be a bit slow). They have fun seasonal events as well. If you use the metro often, nothing beats the location. Only major bummer is that they close the pool-deck during the winter; it would be better if they just covered the pool, but left the rooftop area open for gatherings and the like.

Great staff who are very friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Probably the best part of living at the Metropolitan. Location in Bethesda great - shopping, library, amenities, Metro. Easy to walk everywhere, too.

Great Bethesda location that is centrally located to transportation and commerce. Great staff. Older facility that needs some updating and cleaning. Yet, it's adequate and very comfortable.

I am very, very glad to have moved to the Metropolitan. The staff is stellar - kind, professional, helpful, friendly and great at keeping this lovely apartment building in tip top order. The folks who live here clearly enjoy the lifestyle and what fun to have lively Bethesda just outside the front door.

Best location in Bethesda with great access to public transportation (Bethesda Metro Stations is a five minute walk). Walkability is fantastic - grocery stores, restaurants, shops on Bethesda Row, Bethesda Triangle and Wisconsin Ave. Lots of building going on in downtown Bethesda. Metropolitan staff is the best - friendly and helpful.

Clean and well maintained. Excellent Service levels. My aged parents loved everything about this building. A minute walk to metro and all other major stores.

We have been living at The Metropolitan for almost 2 years and we are really satisfied. Value-for-money leasing in very well located building. Nice staff with a problem-solving attitude, who are always in good mood and willing to help residents.

I’ve only been here for a few weeks, but I have nothing but endless praise for the entire experience. The staff here is phenomenal and they really make you feel like you’re a part of the family, the maintenance team is also phenomenal. Super responsive & incredibly sweet. I’m really looking forward to my long term stay here and I hope to be able to continue to afford to live here for as long as I can!

I moved to this apartment complex about 3 years ago and I'm thoroughly impressed with the amenities offered. The gym is top-notch and I love that there's a pool open during the summer. Additionally, my neighbors are all friendly and respectful, which makes for a great community atmosphere. The maintenance team is also incredibly fast - I had an issue with my sink and it was resolved within a few hours. The staff here is truly exceptional, but I have to give a special shoutout to Tia, the concierge. She's always attentive and truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my apartment choice. The location is convenient, the amenities are fantastic, and the staff is exceptional. Highly recommend!

It has been a pleasure living in the Metroplitan Apartments, Bethesda. The building is maintained beautifully, the facilities are excellent and the staff is courteous and professional. It always "feels good" coming home. I would recommend the Metropolitan to anyone looking for an apartment in Bethesda.

I've lived here for 1.5 years and have loved it. The location is great and the staff are helpful and friendly. Tia at the front desk is awesome! She knows almost everyone by their name and is always a lovely face to see in the lobby.

Tia at the concierge desk is wonderful - always super helpful, cheerful and attentive. My only gripe about this building is that the gym needs updating, some equipment needs to seriously be replaced but management seems to be delaying about this. Scott and Kierra at the concierge desk are also lovely!

Fantastic location in downtown Bethesda - very walkable and good public transportation. Great staff. There are plenty of newer and glitzy apartment buildings in the area, but The Met has a homey and comfortable feel.

Very much enjoy living in the Metropolitan! The staff are friendly and courteous. Maintenance is meticulous. The gym is well stocked with equipment and kept in working order. The location couldn't be better.
