The quality of the apartment home does not match the amount of money they want for it. We have lived here for 3 years - the squirrels will DESTROY your cars! We have accumulated between $5-10k damages to our cars on 4 separate occasions - management refuses to take ownership of the problem or offer any solutions other than "its nature". We also pay for our parking, and more often than not, other people park in our reserved spots and management will also not reimburse us or tow cars in our paid spot. The building is also plumbed backwards. Each winter, our kitchen and bathroom floods. There is tons of water damage that management refuses to take care of. The neighbors litter in the common areas inside and out - management does not come by to clean it up or handle the situation. Management is difficult to get ahold of and almost never provides solutions or accommodations for problems. The lawn company shattered the patio sliding glass door, and it took 2 months for management to send someone out to replace it - they left broken glass all over the patio and in the grassy area where children play. This is a very poorly managed and maintained property.

We received the keys to an apartment that wasn’t finished and it was such a battle to get them to fix anything. We found roaches in our apartment and then a dead bird in our HVAC closet, which they weren’t in a hurry to get out. I wouldn’t recommend renting here to anyone. The management is horrible and they lie, saying things are getting fixed, but they aren’t. The property manager would never sit down with us to talk - we got out of our lease thankfully, but we are still dealing with them trying to charge us a random amount of money that no one can get back to me and explain. Communication and customer service are not their strong suits.
If an appliance goes out be to wait a least two to three days for it to be replaced. The last couple of years pool is rarely open due to vandalism according to the property. Seems maintenance and management of property do not communicate.
The maintenance man was there within 10 minutes of placing the work order, was very professional, kind, and explained everything that was going on. He was very polite and patient even though he had been working late. Very pleased with all his hard work.

The Meadows is a place where I expected to only live a few years. It's been almost seven, now. It is a very nice, safe and friendly place to live. I am amazed by their staff, the cleanliness and responsiveness to maintenance needs. I really love it here, and I will live here until we can get a house. Very awesome experience!
Been living here for almost 2 years and i got to say at first the only thing i could complain about was my roommate. But now my bathroom is a swamp and im told nothing can be done.

My Meadows Apartment was my first apartment, and I moved in during a pandemic! The transition has been easy and without issue, besides an issue with the kitchen faucet which was fixed the next day while I was at work.
Terrible resident services. Amateur maintenance staff. I was Given an apartment that is falling to pieces. Not a great place to live
The management team at The Meadows are very responsive related to any concerns we have had. The maintenance staff is very polite and timely when completing any repairs. The major issue we have are the roaches. We understand living in an apartment building it can be hard to control and with so many different people, there are different levels of cleanliness. Whenever we have reached out to request our apartment to be sprayed, management has been responsive. Overall It is a nice community.
Got this place in a hurry to be close to family/new job. Have not ever been impressed and have been subjected to a list of health and safety concerns. Do not intend to continue here.
The apartments are spacious and maintained well on both the interior and exterior of the buildings. The community is pet friendly . The office staff and maintenance staff are professional and friendly and show concern for the resident safety and wellbeing.
They are great apartments are wonderful and so far I have been getting pretty great responses to my issues and problems I would definitely rate them a 10 its great
The meadows is sufficient for living. The pool is nearly always closed. The clientele is a bit rough, exemplified by the high volume of 911 personnel in and out on a daily basis. Pretty much everything that you would except in an apt complex such as this. The staff is generally friendly.

Not good quality for the rent amount I'm currently paying. This is the first time since moving into this unit 2 months ago that all the appliances and fixtures finally work properly.
I've lived at The Meadows on two different occasions since 2015 and I've never had a complaint! It is a great place to live!

This will be our 2nd year at the Meadows and we have found the staff to be very responsive to any concerns/issues we have had.
Not the best. The first year I lived here, they were obviously making an effort and updating things. Since I renewed my lease it feels like they don't care anymore.

Was pleased with the maintenance departments work and how they kept me informed of what they was doing.
The apartment complex looks nice outside, it would be better if they used that money to fix up the apartments. They did renovate the interiors, but the windows and doors have leaky seals that need to be fixed. The balconies are in terrible shape - mine actually has several rotting boards that have not been fixed for the two years I have lived here. Maintenance does respond, but it seems to be fairly shoddy work. I live on the top floor and haven't had a lot of bug problems, but the doors to the building don't latch so bugs get into the hallways. The nice thing is the laundry facilities are in each building, and each building has six units so they are fairly available. Apartments are cheap for square footage.
If not for the continuing water problems we would be very happy with our place.
The Wilder is awesome, its generous floor plans are a big plus when coupled with its competitive pricing, many amenities, and dog friendliness. There are so many things within a five mile radius of the location, Im happy to have made The Wilder my new home!
Very poor management and very very poor services
The customer service is poor and the apt are full Cockroaches
The people working in the office of this community are inept and under qualified. This results in a terrible customer service experience, and terrible living experience. I dont recommend moving here. I upgraded from south KCMO, to Lenexa, and have had the worst experience here, and never had a single problem in SKCMO.
They have always been kind to your attention.
Ive only been here for 2 months but i have yet to have any issues. Because of this pandemic i dont get to do face to face business and i hate that part but overall i cant say anything bad about this community.
I have called the Meadows home for 8 years and it's a wonderful place to live.
The service attendant came, asked about the location of the issue, saw it and was quickly able to surmise an effective solution. I really appreciate how quickly it was dealt with.
I love that theres a doggie park! I cant wait to see the pool this summer!! There are plenty of kids around to make friends with! Very dog friendly!!!
I love the modern updates and cozy home feeling I got when I viewed The Meadows. The office staff went above & beyond to get my application processed quickly so we could move in our new unit sooner than later. The maintenance staff here has also been great. Weve only had one issue in the months weve been here and it was addressed and resolved promptly. I love my apartment and my community. The staff here all work together to make sure that your home and community exceed your expectations.

The Meadows has the best Adminsration and Maintenance. Everyone is considerate, congenial and caring. I have lived here a total of 11 years. Left after 7 years wanting a bigger apt. (Had a terrible experience.) Came back a year later and have been here ever since. The grounds are well taken of and the hallways and apartments are well maintained. It nice to see friendly smiles and waves from employees and residents.
I love how the apartments look on the inside with the whole fireplace deal that's really nice (my daughter lives here and a friend of mine used to)there spaces and cozy with new appliances, countertop, spacious closets, love how the bathroom looks and they offer different floor plans to choose from...only problem I see is the outside of the complex could use a bit more renovations also some of the ppl that live there from the looks of it is as though they living in the hood! IE; clothes hanging off the balcony/too much clutter etc....overall a great place to live...
Terrible staff who do not get back to you in a timely manner. I had so many problems trying to move into this place. I DO NOT recommend this place. Anywhere is better than here, they did not seem to care about helping me.
It's as if the Meadows apartments were built inside of a scenic park. The land scape is beautiful and welcoming. The units are large and spacious with additional storage and laundry facilities on site. The property is located in a centralized location with quick access to multiply highways and shopping facilities nearby. Amenities include swimming pools, tennis courts, ping pong and pool tables, an exercise room and a luxurious banquet center. Covered parking is also available. Pets are welcome! The Management team pride themselves with keeping up the property and quickly respond to maintenance requests. This is a wonderful place to live as a single person or family.
I moved into the Meadows last fall. I was a first time renter with no credit and low income. The office staff worked with me and helped me to be able to qualify for housing within their apartments quickly and painlessly. The office staff always remembers me when I pick up packages or drop off my rent and they are always friendly to my puppy. I have had a few maintenance issues but they were taken care of promptly, less than 24hrs each time! I pay minimal rent for an apartment larger than what I can find anywhere else. The neighborhood isn't the nicest but the Meadows is a nice pocket of solace. Everything is a close distance in the car and the buildings were recently painted so they look super nice.
This apartment complex is my favorite and I'm hoping to move there soon. I haven't decided if I want a 2 bedroom or a 1 bedroom
