Property Ratings at The Maison on Halsey
The house was comfortable and had the essentials I needed. I liked that the kitchen was well equipped, and having a washer and dryer in the basement made things much easier. My room had a desk, which was great for working, and the Wi-Fi was reliable the whole time. The A/C and heating worked well. Overall, a nice and practical place to stay.
I lived in the Maisonette Small room for 5 months. The room itself is small and basic, but it had everything I needed. The apartment is spacious with plenty of common areas, which made it comfortable overall. The only thing I didn’t love is that the washer/dryer is paid and not included.
Living with other students and young professionals has been a surprisingly great experience. Super convenient that WiFi, utilities, and supplies are all covered in one monthly payment. It really takes the stress out of managing bills while focusing on school.
There’s a real sense of community here, and people actually talk to each other. I liked having creative folks around and space to think.
I’ve stayed at several coliving spaces, and Outpost’s Maison Halsey is a solid choice. The apartment is nice, and the amenities are convenient. The only downside is that the rent is a bit steep for the area, but it’s manageable considering all the amenities included.
I stayed at Maison on Halsey House after hearing about it from a friend, and it was an incredible experience. The location is unbeatable. The apartment itself was clean and well-maintained, with modern furniture. It’s hard to find a better option at this price point in Brooklyn.
If you’re doing an internship or short-term job in New York, I highly recommend Outpost coliving! I stayed there for three months and loved how everything was taken care of—utilities, internet, and cleaning. The rent was really reasonable, especially when you consider everything you get. The space itself was nice, and it was such a convenience to have a fully furnished apartment. My roommates were awesome and respectful, making it easy to get along. I’d definitely do it again if I find myself in NYC.
I’ve been here for almost half a year and overall it’s been a good experience. The apartment itself feels modern, the kitchen appliances work well, and the common areas are kept in pretty good shape. The building feels safe, which was important for me when choosing a place. There are a few minor downsides :sometimes you can hear street noise at night, and management isn’t always quick with replies, though they eventually sort things out. The location is definitely a highlight. Lots of coffee spots and groceries around, and the subway is only a short walk away. For the price and convenience, I’d say it’s a solid option in Brooklyn.
Best decision I’ve made since moving to New York! The space feels like a true sanctuary after a busy day. The common spaces are cozy, but not overcrowded, and the rooms are super peaceful. The staff is really attentive too, which makes all the difference.
I lived at the Maison on Halsey for three months while doing a graphic design internship in NYC. I moved from Chicago and needed something furnished and simple. The room was clean, had a desk and bed, and the kitchen had all the basics. The house was quiet and mostly other students or people working. It was close to the C train so commuting to Manhattan was easy.
I like the amenities, for the same price I was paying before, I’m getting so much more.
I’ve made some lifelong friends here. The community vibe is fantastic, and the common spaces make it easy to connect with people.
Having Saratoga Park right across the street was such a treat! I spent so many mornings there with coffee from Passionfruit Coffee. Maison on Halsey feels like a hidden gem in the city.
As someone who values a clean and quiet living space, this house has been perfect. The cleaning service keeps everything fresh, my neighbors are respectful, and management is always available to help.
The Maison Halsey strikes the perfect balance between luxury and practicality. My private suite with a kitchenette made it feel like a true retreat after a long day. The local food scene is fantastic, with endless options to explore! Whether it's vegan dishes at Chez Alex, ice cream at Lady Moo Moo, or cocktails at All Night Skate, there's always something exciting nearby.
The spacious bedrooms and thoughtfully furnished interiors made it feel like home. Outpost Club’s management brought everything together, with regular cleaning and well-organized community events. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a balance of comfort and activity!
The moment I walked into my room, I felt relief. It was bright and airy, with a desk by the window where I could sip tea and work. The shared spaces were modern and clean, and unlike what I’d feared, my roommates were friendly and respectful.
Living near All Night Skate was a game-changer. Great drinks, amazing street food, and such a fun atmosphere. The location of Maison Halsey is absolutely perfect for nightlife lovers.
The shared backyard and lounge were such great spaces for meeting people and hosting friends. Maison Halsey really sets itself apart with these thoughtful amenities
Maison Halsey’s interior design is incredible—vibrant, artistic, and perfectly suited to the neighborhood’s creative vibe. My room was a dream with its bold colors, private bath, and even a minibar. Loved every moment!
Outpost Club provided a great foundation for me when I moved to NYC. The apartment was well-furnished, and the customer service team was always responsive. It really eased the burden of relocating to a new city. I love animals, but I’m actually glad they don’t allow pets here because I have allergies, and it’s made my stay much more comfortable.
