Just beyond the north side of Charlotte, Huntersville is a primarily residential community in the northern part of Mecklenburg County (“North Meck” to locals). This apartment community goes above and beyond for their residents. The communication from office staff is superb from any other complex I have lived. The team has always been professional, genuine, and sincere with Maintenace issues, missing packages at no fault but the carriers, monthly resident events, etc. We truly appreciate living The Luxe of Huntersville!
Our air conditioning has been going in and out for all three years that we have lived here. Maintenance has been to our apartment more than I’ve ever experienced because of the various issues that are never truly fixed. It’s exhausting dealing with the office and maintenance people so often for something so necessary for your comfort. We will be moving; it’s not worth the cheaper rent.
When I first moved in the place was nice and took care of all my issues without a problem. Ever since “new management” took over, professionalism and common courtesy went out the window. The walls are thinner than a piece of paper, but I expected that which is why I chose the top floor in order to not deal with any noise above me. Boy was I wrong ! The NEXT DOOR neighbors are so loud that they vibrate my entire apartment, and management does absolutely nothing about it. Let’s not forget that there is a courtesy officer on the property who never answers the phone or available to do anything either. Literally the only solution I have is to move out and find something better. I have lived in different apartment complexes ever since I moved to Charlotte 10 years ago and this complex is by far the absolute worse I have ever lived in !! I regret ever signing a lease with them so please BEWARE !!!

As a Top 10 property in the Charlotte MSA for resident satisfaction (2022 ORA Power Rankings), we place a high value on the level of service we provide our valued residents. While noise issues in apartments can be tricky to resolve, we recognize the importance of a quiet and comfortable environment for our residents to call home. As such in this instance, we have taken the necessary steps to contact all parties in this noise complaint, have issued a lease violation warning to the party in question and have worked with our courtesy officer and local law enforcement to try and get this resolved. Unfortunately, we've not been able to fully resolve this as of today, but have reached out again to all parties to set up a meeting to discuss how we can best resolve moving forward. My Wife and I are relocating to North Carolina. After searching many different properties, we felt like this particular community checked all of our boxes. Several floor plans to choose from, great amenities and pricing was reasonable considering we needed to do a short term lease. I am a former homeowner and a senior citizen. My location is perfect for me. Nice large patio and corner unit on first floor. Everyone has been kind and responsive even when I had minor issues. Most people are good with their dogs and my grands have enjoyed watching them In the dog park. Now a small childrens play area would be nice.
The Cortland Huntersville team is incredible. They go above and beyond to ensure your experience is smooth and wonderful. If you ever find yourself in a tough spot and need a repair, they make an effort to have the problem fixed by the end of the day, they're trustworthy, kind, and above all else they provide a great community! I would HIGHLY recommend anyone move here, I know I'm glad I did.

At Cortland Huntersville has proven to be a great spot for husband and me. The landscape is impeccable and makes sitting on your porch quite pleasant!
Fairly priced apartments with a quiet community and access to lots of places in the area. Up the road there's a plaza with lots of great places like markets and restaurants, down the street is the city, around the corner is the mall.
My partner and I absolutely love living here. We always joke and say we live at a resort but really we feel like we have it made here!

Love living here. Has all the amenities we need plus more. The community is clean, safe and friendly. They always have food trucks here which is a plus!
Don't let the facade fool you. This property is full of issues. The neighbors play loud music you can hear what they are saying through the walls, lot of banging all the time, when you talk to the office about it, they take no action. Also don't except to get your packages because they will be stolen from your front door. If they deliver a package to the office on a weekend good luck getting it they lock the door and state they are away, however you see no one showing apartments on the property. God forbid you have a neighbor with a dog and they leave. This is not the apartment community for you if you are looking for peace and relaxation. As far as the grounds they do not take care of just partially pine straw it. Good Luck if you choose to make this your home. I would suggest looking somewhere else!

Beautiful, maintenance free apartments with awesome amenities!
I’ve never had so many issues at any apartment I’ve ever lived and I’ve never been so unhappy with living somewhere before. The walls are so thin you can hear almost everything your neighbors do, and the building is structurally weak in quality. Like even on the top floor, you can hear people simply walking through the halls, your neighbors walking around in their unit, closing doors, having normal level noise conversations, hearing their tv, their music and even hear them burping! Normal things you’d do in your home are completely audible to your neighbors, and really shouldn’t be if your building is decent in structure. I would take showers in my master bathroom, I can hear my neighbors walking around and closing their doors or cabinets and regularly talking. It’s extremely unsettling. There is an ongoing concern not only by me, but by my guests that have visited me, it feels like the building has no insulation since you can so easily hear other neighbors in their own unit. It wouldn’t be a surprise since my unit wasn’t built correctly to begin with, there were 3 rooms in my unit that didn’t even have an air vent. Not to mention when I laid in bed trying to sleep, forget it. If there’s a truck running outside, it “vibrates” the walls and floor. If someone is running their washer/dryer, the floor would make my bed shake because again, the walls and floor would “vibrate”. Not to mention maintenance issues from the start. Glad to be moving away.
The apartment is beautiful. I would suggest living on the third floor. Everybody that lives in Apartments aren't respectable to their neighbors. If I had considerate neighbors the rest of my time with the cortland would be enjoyable.
Cortland Huntersville provides a comfortable and high quality atmosphere!!! I have been retired for many years. When I moved here I felt that I was officially retired and could enjoy my new community!!
When I made my initial inquiry the leasing team was so patient and offered help with the application process. It is a great place to live in a very convenient location!!

I have never been more stress-free! I love this community and its staff. Amazing communication, weekly fun, clean and safe community, and just all around comfortable with living here!
Overall, this is a nice community. The grounds are well maintained, it's fairly new, and mostly quiet. Depending on where your unit is located, you will experience noisy traffic on Statesville Rd. Almost all of the neighbors are respectful and quiet. There are exceptions of course. Parking can be challenging when returning in the late evening, which is pretty typical for apartment communities. Descent community. It's a Cortland property.
Awesome place to live! The property is very well kept. The staff so helpful in the fact that youre not just a resident but youre family! Youre informed of anything happening, for instance, if pool is closed for routine maintenance youre notified well in advance.
Living at Courtland Huntersville have been a great experience. I was new to NC and my leasing officer Madison was very helpful in answering all my questions and having patience with any issues that I had. It has been great living here thus far. It's quiet and the community is kept very clean. There is an app where residents can post announcements/ events and I think that has been awesome. Would def recommend to anyone looking for a nice peaceful home

Everything at the Cortland Huntersville is maintained well and looks great, plus all the staff are so friendly and professional. The best apartment living experience I have had.
I do not recommend Cortland Apts, the walls are very thin, no dog weight restrictions making noise intolerable
After just moving in a few months ago, I have loved it here. I have already decided when my lease is up to resign. Front office employees were super helpful and kind upon move in and I feel the apartment is of high quality along with the amenities! Definitely plan on staying with Cortland Huntersville.
Overall, nice community. Recently built located in a mostly quiet area. Management seems to care about tenant enjoyment of the community. While my opinion about this community is mostly positive, there are things that I dislike that are mostly unique to my unit. My advice to anyone seeking residence here would be to try and avoid the units closer to Statesville Rd. Traffic is often loud. Second, moving into units below other units that house tenants with a young child or children can make enjoyment a little challenging. Last, although cleaning up after pets seem to be an enforced rule, expect to see some pet excrement in places other than the bags supplied at each pet station. Despite my experience, I would still recommend this community.
You will love the place here. I've seen many places around Charlotte. Cortland Huntersville is the best for me. Clean apartment , quiet neighborhood , friendly staff , beautiful views and amazing management.

For six months I’ve had to deal with noise from the upstairs tenet walking as if they have bricks attached to their feet, dropping stuff in the middle of the night when others are sleeping, allowing their dog to run back and forth... and still nothing has been done after speaking with the leasing consults 4 times. But of course they want their money and want it on time whether their tenets are comfortable in the home they are paying for or not. Don’t let the the way the complex and amenities look fool you, the walls and ceilings are paper thin and put together using Elmers glue!! I will never rent at another Cortland ever again, this has been a horrible experience and i hope this review helps you all see the real and not the glitz and glamour of the outside when you’ll be spending majority of your time inside.
Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am with Cortland Hunstersville, especially in regards to the manager Susan. I originally was interested in Cortland because they have many locations where I am from in Texas, but that is not why I ultimately chose to live here. The staff made me feel at home, even though I am on the other side of the country! Myriah has always been a great help and you'll be in great hands if you work with her, but the spotlight this time needs to be shined on Susan. Im writing this review because my children and I have lived here for over 2 months, and they loves this place. We were curious about other floor plans and originally only asked to tour one unit, but ended up having Mariah show us not one, not two, but three different units! I am a very picky person and Mariah was so patient as he listened to all my needs and wants. If you are looking for a place to call home that will treat you like family, look no further! cortland Huntersville is calling! Also don't forget to ask for Mariah!! Thanks Susan & Myriah
Beautiful, new apartments with great amenities and all issues, if any are resolved quickly.
I personally looked at several apartment complexes in the area and surrounding areas and choose Cortland because of their superb amenenites and absolutely gorgeous apartments there is too many things to list but two fine examples would be the grilling stations Cabana area and stunning spacious pool with beautiful lighting another exceptional plus is in apartment washer and dryers state of the art appliances and kitchen areas hands down the best living experience where you get the most bang for your buck come take a tour and you will choose Cortland as your home too.
Cortland Huntersville staff is very courteous and helpful with my leasing experience, so glad I stopped by to view an apartment. The property is immaculate and well maintained. I love the large bedrooms and new appliances in my unit. Amenities are worth the cost. Will definitely recommend this property to others. Great apartments, quiet and peaceful neighbors and on top of all that, a wonderful feature loaded apartment with great design and comfort.
I've loved living here so far. It's a very quiet community - I rarely hear neighbors. The community is kept clean and truly feels like home. The welcome gift upon move in was a great touch. The office staff is wonderful and they love to stay involved with residents.
