Please don’t live here. It’s absolutely horrible. No safety, car break ins and car theft occurs often. So so so dirty (poop, urine, trash everywhere), everything is broken at all times every day all year (doors, gates, gym equipment, amenities trashed) homeless people break in and live in amenities. Packages always stolen. Rude front desk. Dangerous neighborhood. Shootings are regular.

I have been living at The Lucas Apartments for the past 9 months and I have to say, it has been an amazing experience! The apartments themselves are beautifully designed with modern fixtures and appliances. The floor plans are spacious and open, which makes it easy to decorate and make the space feel like your own. One of the best things about living at Lucas Apartments is the location. It's situated in a great area with easy access to restaurants, shops, and entertainment. There are ample parks (and tennis courts) nearby, which is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities. The amenities at Lucas Apartments are top-notch. The fitness center is fully equipped with all the latest equipment, and there's even a yoga studio for those who prefer a more zen workout. The pool and lounge area are perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun on a hot day, and the rooftop terrace provides breathtaking views of the city. Lastly, the staff at Lucas Apartments are amazing. They are always friendly and attentive to any needs or concerns that I have. The maintenance team is also quick to respond to any issues that may arise. Overall, I highly recommend Lucas Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern, and convenient place to call home in Dallas, Texas.

Let me say, if you want your car broken into and/or stolen.. this is the apartment complex for you! My car has been stolen from this property and broken into on several occassions while being parked in the resident garage. Needless to say, I pay $50 extra a month for this parking space and it does me no good. The police caught the culprits and the apartment complex refused to show me the footage which makes me feel even less safe while living here. More than likely, I come across the culprits occassionally and don't even know it. Management is also unresponsive if you have a problem or simple question. The complex had potiental but it has declined over the years. There is trash throughout the complex and roaches in the hallways. We have weekly drive-bys and shootings around the property. Random people and houseless individuals roam right outside the complex day and night. For someone who has a dog and needs to walk them multiple times a day... I do not feel safe here. Do not get caught up in the few amenties that they provide. IT IS NOT WORTH IT! Please save yourself the trouble.
The apartment from the exterior looks nice but it’s not well maintained on the inside. Today, after a long day at work, I saw poop in the hallway and then when I wanted to take the elevator to my floor, I saw urine. I’m grossed out. I think that’s the last straw for me to finally move out when my lease ends.
We loved The Lucas apartment. my husband and I decided to renew our lease because the service is excellent, the location is perfect and we are very happy here. the apartments are just so beautiful and very well thought out. Our apartment is very spacious and modern. this is why we chose these apartments in first place. The staffs response to our needs have always been very quick and profesional, all the amenities and other areas ( elevators, hallways, and stairs) are always in a in a great condition. the drive up parking is a life saver. It’s helpful and there is always enough space. Andrea has been with us since the beginning of our stay. We love her so much.

I have lived at The Lucas since it was built 3 years now and have had an outstanding experience. The staff, specifically Shara and Tameka have been incredible. I’ve hosted my husbands birthday each year in the Clubroom with friends and family. They rave about the amenities and overall design/layout of the complex. It’s been an incredible experience to live in this new community and share it with the people we love. I absolutely highly recommend this place for any new comer to Dallas and also to anyone wanting a vibrant and welcoming experience in the downtown Dallas areas.

Beautiful community. Floor plan is spacious and price is the best fracture. I wont be sharing the experience because anyone interested in uptown/downtown area would flock to the Lucas.

Very nice complex with excellent maintenance. Corridors and elevators are cleaned quiet often, which is necessary because this is a pet friendly community.
Agree with previous comments. Those patrols are ineffective. At one point I saw the gate flat out tilting over, nearly hitting the car that was parked next to it. I was sent a code to pick up someone elses mail and no not by the carrier...it was by you all. There was a piece of wiring sticking out the entrance door and it took 3 weeks to fix it. It could have cut anyone. We have reached out to "the team"...the greys star number and as always the lines are busy. The few times you get a hold of someone. They are rude and have poor customer service. I am not referring to the staff at the complex, I am referring to grey star customer service number. If you all cared, you wouldn't be rated so low as a company.

I love this place! So clean and well kept community. The staff here is beyond friendly and makes everything so easy for you! Great location to many other Dallas areas. I couldnt say enough good things about it.

solid place to live
The ideal place
This place is not at all worth the exorbitant prices they charge to live here. For starters, it is in a very unsafe neighborhood that is a hotspot for crime. While the garages are gated, the gates are more often than not broken and therefore left open for long periods of time. The exit gate to the garage was last broken (and left opened) for almost 2 months until it was finally repaired. In any other area of town, this would not be such a big issue, but given the location of these apartments, it is unacceptable. Management is - for a lack of a better word - incompetent. They act friendly however will rarely ever be proactive about getting anything done in regards to justified complaints. Furthermore, packages are constantly lost and management claims there is nothing they can do about it. As for the apartments themselves, they are pretty comparable to other buildings nearby. They are cheaply made and the thin walls allow you to hear all of your neighbors (upstairs, next door, downstairs) politics. I highly recommend NOT living here because for the price you can get a nicer place in a much nicer area where you do not have to deal with the several shortcomings this place has to offer.

While there have been times where the gates have been inoperable due to residents trying to beat the gates and hitting them, we always have them repaired within a couple of days. I?m sorry to hear about your packages. We have package lockers that delivery companies place packages directly. Our team does not have any contact with resident deliveries so any delivery issues need to be addressed with the carrier. We do also have a patrol service and cameras throughout the community. Excellent community with great location and staff
Living at the Lucas the last year has not been a great experience. Location is poor, management is unfriendly and does not follow up with concerns or issues, there has been too much illegal drug use in the complex and management does little to try and fix it.
The staff is very knowledgeable, and the community as well as the units are very clean
Ive only been here a short while, 5 months or so, but i have zero issues to report. The complex and staff are fantastic from fixtures and finishes to friendliness: A . Responsive, reliable, and a great location!
