I’ve lived at 4900 The Louise for a year and wanted to share a well-rounded perspective for prospective residents. The apartment furnishings are modern and thoughtfully designed, and the building itself has a clean and upscale aesthetic. The gym is the standout feature—easily a 10/10, with complete equipment and a consistently well-maintained space. The rooftop offers great views and has a lot of potential. However, there are several areas for improvement. The stairwell on the Kenmore side looks unfinished and is rarely cleaned—maintenance visits that area infrequently, maybe once a quarter. The call box at the front entrance features a camera system, but it’s not in use, making it more decorative than functional, especially compared to other properties like Modera. The rooftop “entertainment” area lacks functionality. The TV has limited local channels and barely works, and there’s been no sound system available throughout the entire year. The clubhouse is fair (7/10), but the conference rooms suffer from poor acoustics and thin walls, which makes them unsuitable for remote meetings or private calls. That said, the adjacent outdoor space is a nice perk. The parking garage is safe and private, but for the price, it’s not quite worth it—I’d rate it a 7/10. Security is another concern. Due to the building’s location, there have been occasional incidents involving unauthorized entry and package theft. To their credit, staff has responded as best as possible within their means. Lastly, I’d like to acknowledge Jules. Though his official title is leasing specialist, he’s been consistently helpful and follows through well on resident concerns. Overall, I’d give 4900 The Louise a 7/10. It has good bones and some standout features, but there’s room for improvement in amenity upkeep, security, and overall functionality.

I’m currently living in a newly built apartment in Los Angeles, and I must say, I’m very satisfied with my living situation. Among all the places I’ve lived in LA, this one is definitely the best so far. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and comfortable. But what really stands out is the quality of service provided by the management. Whenever I need a minor repair or have a small request, they respond quickly and take care of it in a professional and friendly manner. It really makes me feel at home, and I appreciate how stress-free the experience has been.

This apartment is very well-built. I've lived in several new apartments in LA, and I think this is the best one. It's very comfortable, quiet, and the environment is beautifully maintained. There are also great communal facilities. I highly recommend it to a friend.

It's been great living here. The staff is friendly and the amenities are top-notch. I feel safe inside the building since there is 24/7 security. Parking is easy with a dedicated EV charger at my assigned spot. Gym is huge with plentiful equipment. Rooftop has a beautiful view towards Griffith Park and the Hollywood sign, with a pool and jacuzzi. Community Room and patio area is spacious, with a conference room that is great for meetings. I am happy living here.

The Louise 4900 is a new, amazing, beautiful and functional building right on the boarder of East Hollywood and Los Feliz. The staff is wonderful and the property is pristine with every amenity one could want. The property was designed very intelligently, with convenient exits, elevators and stairs in every direction. The view from the fully furnished rooftop is breathtaking and the active security make the complex feel safe. The location is great, right next to Barnsdall Art Park. Lots of dog owners in the area and everyone is very friendly. We love living here at the Louise.

The Louise 4900 is a great community to live in. It’s within walking distance to a lot of places, bars, and is very convenient. I feel safe in the parking lot area and it is super clean. I love the gym and it was one of the reasons I moved in. The rooftop common area has a 4ft pool and a hot tub with amazing views.

The good. It is a beautiful building and the units are gorgeous, well thought out with tech, layout and appliances. The common spaces are well done and the rooftop has a great view. Also, the leasing office staff is very friendly. Close to the shops and restaurants in Los Feliz. The bad. The fire alarm has been going off about once every two weeks since I moved in over 4 months ago. Nothing had fixed this. While the security guards are friendly they are often on their phones and the cameras you see everywhere are not connected. There have been a couple incidents in the building that they have not taken steps to prevent from happening again. While close to the shops and restaurants the immediate area is a little rough hence the issues above. The pool and jacuzzi have been closed for months without any explanation or estimate of when it will reopen. We have been offered to use the pool at the building across the street but nothing has been sent out on how to access it. The building also up charges wherever it can for things like using common spaces or parking. All in all I would like to resign the lease when mine is up but the issues with the alarm, security and amenities need to be resolved. In the meantime it is starting to feel like I am in a sleep deprivation study due to the fire alarms.

The Louise is a beautiful building in a great location in Los Feliz. Staff is helpful and you absolutely cannot beat sitting in the rooftop pool looking over the view of the Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood sign, while still having a casual neighborhood feel in Los Feliz. Great building and great team, would recommend.

The floor plan is open with beautiful views of the city and the hills. Lots of beautiful light with floor to ceiling windows and great size balcony. The bathrooms are large. The rooftop amenities are wonderful to sit under the stars or go for a swim. I love this property and all that it offers.
