Excellent. Very professional and helpful advice on how to do the review. I was having a hard time with the submission of the document online. The manager was very helpful in helping me how to do it.

I held an event in the Velvet Belva Pub. Staff were incredibly helpful as I set up and checked in regularly to be sure I had everything I needed. Great experience!

My fiancé and I have been happy residents of the Lockwood for over a year now. It's in a cute, quiet neighborhood, and just a 5-minute walk to the metro. The amenities are modern and nice. Everyone in the building is friendly, but it is the concierge and maintenance teams that help make it feel like home. Our weekend concierge, Michael, is especially helpful and is one of the kindest people we have ever met. Thank you, Michael and the rest of the team for everything you do for us at the Lockwood!

I've really enjoyed living here. I wish there was a better area for my dog to go potty on the winter but that is a small detail. will be sad to leave.

Moved in a little over a week ago and the staff here has been very welcoming and helpful with getting used to the complex! Everything is very clean and well polished.

Our experience at Lockwood has been very pleasant so far. The building is always clean, welcoming, and resident friendly. I truly enjoy whenever the scheduled events happen and I get to meet my neighbors. The community is very respectful and friendly, which makes a big difference. The staff is very helpful and kind as well, I know I can always come to the lobby with questions and get solutions.

Third day into residency at The Lockwood and all members of the team have been warm and supportive aand have greatly eased my move. Hats off to an exemplary staff--maiintenance, cleaning, and all!

I have lived in the Lockwood for the last year. It is a lovely building with lots of amenities in a great location. Though I haven't had to engage the leasing manager, Joshua, more than a handful of times, when I have he has been very responsive, professional, and friendly. The Executive Concierge, Tyanna, is also wonderful.

The staff at my apartment building are incredibly friendly and responsive, always willing to help with any concerns. The apartment itself is well-maintained, spacious, and comfortable, making it a great place to live. The amenities are also a nice bonus, adding to the overall positive experience here.

This apartment complex has everything you need and is always clean. Staff makes this place feel like home. Fill in staff is hit and miss but does't usually need to be filled often. Gym is great and usually empty. Location is close to a metro and very central.

My apartment is cozy and comfortable. The staff is friendly and nice. I wish the water pressure was better, and that the hallway could air out. It often smells like everyone's food and it's overwhelming.

Really friendly staff, well maintained rooms and common areas, and a great location in Washington D.C. Also very easy to do a self guided tour and overall would recommend.

We love living here! It makes life so much easier to be in this building. It’s incredibly quiet. It is very close to multiple things to do in DC. We cannot wait to spend many years living here.

The community itself is absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated and well maintained. I haven’t had issues with our apartment since we moved, and we couldn’t be happier about the balcony and other features that make our lives 10 times better. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. The only thing disappointing me lately have been a few selling points that were mentioned during our tour, that are now no longer available for residents. It saddens me to think they were empty promises, and would love to see them come back in the future. I hope the butterfly app is back to operating properly as well! Other than that, it is a gorgeous community in a lovely area of DC.

The Lockwood is a lovely property, with lots of thoughtful design touches. The staff is very helpful and considerate. Plus, it’s very pet friendly.

We just moved into the building and we are loving it!! This is not only a lovely place to live but the amenities are top notch! Every employee we have encountered has been extremely helpful. A huge shout out to Joshua for helping us so much with our transition.

The staff & space are all so welcoming. Been living here for 4 years with no plan on leaving. The units are updated and chic and the common areas are clean.

Great location! The building is equipped with everything you need for day to day activities. Security key access points to navigate the building safely. Pet friendly and the staff are amazing.

I recently moved into the community and everyone I've met has been so friendly! Even from my first tour, the concierge team has been so helpful with any issues I might have. I have really enjoyed working from the rooftop on nice days and using the amenities like the gym and the garden. My apartment is so quiet and peaceful - I love it here.

The Lockwood has professional staff. Great common spaces. Kitchen has limited/awkward cupboard/storage space. Drawers are narrow. Cabinets are shallow. First floor often smells like pot.

I just moved in, and from the first point of contact with the Lockwood staff my experience has been great. You can tell the little things are thought of, from how friendly and helpful the staff are (all of the staff, from custodial to front desk to management) to the real plants in the conservatory. So excited to call the Lockwood home!

Been living here for just under a month and we love the building — so far, SO GOOD! The amenities are beautiful, and the staff is professional, helpful and friendly.

We’ve only been at the Lockwood for a little over a month and everything has been fantastic. When we toured in early January we loved the apartment and amenities but Michael’s kindness was what made us apply the next day. Michael answered all our questions and set us up with a self guided tour all while helping residents, delivery drivers, and maintenance staff. We had no reservation, or even seen the Lockwood building for more than 15 minutes, and Michael treated us as if we’d been living there for years.

We've lived here for almost 4 months already and we're very satisfied with our experience! It's pleasure to attend common areas, our apartment feels cozy, replies from the management are timely and maintenance requests are resolved really fast! Even such small requests as to oil the squeaky door!

I have lived at the Lockwood for over a year, and out of all the apartments I’ve lived in DC it’s my favorite. To start, the front rowhouses style blends in well with the quiet Capitol Hill neighborhood. The building and amenities are beautiful, with lots of antiques and vintage touches. I also love the classic finishes in my apartment, like crown molding and black and white bathroom tiling, which stands out from a lot of super-modern DC apartments. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, and they make sure guests are verified before swiping them in which I appreciate. My maintenance requests are solved within a couple days. There are community events weekly, and food and treats for resident appreciation. The amazon lockers plus package room for large items are super convenient, and it is one block from the Safeway grocery store. It is quite expensive, but commensurate with other luxury apartments in DC, and worth it for someone like me who works from home.

Can't say enough about the management team, Christine and Sam, at The Lockwood!!! Having lived there for almost four years they by far are a cut above all the others. The Concierges are top notch, always helpful and the weekend guys Ian and Michael go above and beyond almost to a fault. The conveniences available at and around it are unique and provide a sense of community. Loved living at The Lockwood!!!

Sylvester has help guide our community through the COVID-19 crisis and DC's stay-at-home orders with a steady hand, and He continues to make The Lockwood feel like a happy place to live. I love living at The Lockwood. The building is gorgeous, with very attentive staff. Sylvester our concierge is amazing. He’s a very nice gentleman. Always greets us with a smile, and great conversation. We love it here!

The property is well-maintained. It has beautiful amenities. The staff is so helpful and friendly. If I had a maintenance concern, I entered it in the online portal and it was usually addressed within hours. The concierge staff was always helpful. The Lockwood has every convenience imaginable: rooftop garden, landscaped courtyard, gym. The neighborhood is beautiful, and I love walking and seeing all the pretty gardens. It's about a half mile from the Mall, and that's a great walk too. Two supermarkets, each within about a block. Easy access to bus and metro. A few blocks away is 8th street with restaurants, health food store, yoga, and lots of other businesses. You'll love it there.

Our Concierge's are better than yours - always accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable with the area and they go the extra mile regardless of how big or small a request!!
