The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Lila at Oakgate
They try their best and will take care of you. Definitely a good starter apartment
I’ve lived here over 4 years and it gets worse every year. The 2 security entrances used to open from the outside, now only 1 is an entrance. Your calls are virtually never answered, the messages you leave are never returned. Maintenance issues? I’ve had my fluorescent bathroom light out for a long time and the guy came twice to change it while I was at work. Left lights on both times, and yesterday he left the light on in my bedroom closet. The bathroom is not attached to the bedroom. Why was he in my bedroom?!? I called 3 times, emailed twice. I’m still waiting. I no longer trust these people, and neither should you. Also, they just raised rates again, this time over $100 a month, over 10%. That’s some serious math!

Wow, thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience! We appreciate all the positive comments you had to say about our leasing and maintenance team. We work hard to make a great living experience for our residents, so it's great to hear we're living up to the ideal. If there is anything you need, we're always happy to help. Have a great day!
Maintenance is straight trash. I could pick up a homeless guy on the street that knows more about maintenance and plumbing than these guys. Please save your wallet and don’t sign up here because they charge you for cable even though nobody watches tv and trash pickups even though they only pick up 3 times a week and trash is overflowing to the street.

We love our apartment! The gates are working; we had a light out and I called it in, they fixed it that same day. We haven't seen any roaches or bugs either! It's very quiet and we love love the mature trees and scenery! It's close to our work and lot's of good places to go out and eat. Couldn't be happier!
I lived here for 9 months and it was a nice 1 bedroom 1 bathroom starter place. The staff are friendly and typically are quick to complete requests and answer questions. It is a fairly quiet community with lots of free parking. The pet rent is actually $15/mo and there is a $250 fee. There aren’t a lot of grassy areas to take your pet but for the price point it’s not bad. If you get the laundry units in your apartment that is best. Otherwise, it is $1.55 to wash and $1.55 to dry your clothes. Some issues: 1. The community is advertised as gated but the gate has been broken for several months and solicitors have been able to get in. 2. There are always roaches. No matter how much I seal food and clean I find at least one per week. Otherwise, I have been pretty pleased with the community given the price point. If you are just starting out it is a good choice.

This place is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I had lived there for 3 years and the first year was great then when I switched apartment I had nothing but problems. First of all the apartment wasn't ready when it was suppose to be and then it took them 3 months to fix the dishwasher which kept holding moldy water which smelled awful! Then i decided to move back to the other apartment my third year there because they had decent prices but this was a huge mistake! What i soon discovered is that the entire building (according to the pest control) was infested with roaches. apparently my unit had been treated previously to me moving in by noticing all the roach bait on the walls. It was constant battle to get pest control and they often missed weeks when I asked for them to come. By the time it was time to move out I had to throw out so much of my stuff so I wouldn't bring roaches with me. Other problems include the awful smell of people not cleaning up their dogs poop and the dog poop bins never getting cleaned out, the pool is always dirty, and often maintenance leave old appliances all over the property. Plus you can expect to have your water shut off due to maintenance about every 4 months. Sometimes its just a couple of hour other times it 2 days.
They are badly infested with roaches. The units are old buildings and they have roaches bad.
They will reel you in with a nice sales pitch but once you sign that contract you get absolutely no help from the extremely rude lady's that work in the front office. They are good at collecting your money and nothing else. You have to leave at least four messages for them to even call you back about the simplest things. Overall a horrible experience and a complete waste of money. Save your time, stress and money and look elsewhere.
This apartment complex used to be great until the management changed. Now the management is incompetent and uncaring. This is the second summer I've had to live with a broken AC (Ive stuck around because I love the location). Management simply doesn't care, they lie about the condition of the unit and say it's normal for the temp to be "a few degrees off because I have high ceilings" when my apartment is 81 degrees on a hot afternoon. Maintenance os also terrible, all the repairs are cheap and unprofessional, they can't fix anything without breaking something else in the process.
This is my boyfriend and I's first apartment together and we started having problems within 4 days of moving in. They tricked us into owing them $750, they added a $100 fee for suspecting we had an animal in our apartment which we did not. Everything in the apartment is either old or cheap such as blinds falling off, ceiling fan breaking, poor water pressure and terrible AC unit. I'm 5 months pregnant and we wanted a great first place for our child, but now we are moving out as soon as our lease is up.
This is the perfect apartment if you are looking for nice location close to great restaurants, safe and quiet place. Great rates with good apartment space for the money.
