Got keys on 19th - was told at walk through i am paying for a "remodeled unit and ALL WOULD BE FIXED IN A WEEK. haha.. shower ceiling has holes, toilet runs, toilet not secured to floor, closet doors either not on closet or don't open. sliding door - LEAKS BADLY when it rains, kitchen faucet needs plyers to operate, drain does not work properly, countertop is broken, cannot get into mailbox or cannot get to operate outside storage "shed" more to list.. management company keeps saying later today or "tomorrow" today is 2 weeks later and note even shown up to look at. there is actually more but i can't keep typing..
I moved in to the Hamptons in January. Everyone is very polite and respectful. They fix any issue in a timely manner. As with any neighborhood nothing or no one is perfect. The apt. is beautiful as well.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! I didn't know if I should post or not because, I've dealt with so much messed up stuff and rude behavior... But, I cannot stay silent and them continue to hurt people. I've lived here since 2019. I honestly wanted to move years ago but, being pregnant, covid and the rent market has had me and my children stuck here. The only good thing about this apartment is they are big and the school district. Other than that, its been nothing but BS! I've been lied to, talked to like crap, and treated poorly all around. When we moved in, the deck was a safety hazard and it took them over a year to fix it. The apartments have had roaches from day 1, mice, mold, and maintenance is completely horrible!! They really do not fix anything! I am a mother of 4 and they let us live with no heat or AC for months! I have a bathroom I cannot use, my garbage despoil isn't working, windows aren't put in right so its constantly letting in air, bathroom mirrors are a safety hazard & now all of my work orders & payment of utilities are magically gone. The pool is unavailable, the washer and dryers are now gone out of the apartment complexes, mailbox is broken so I have to go to the post office, the crime out here is INSANE! People literally shoot each other in the middle of the day like children aren't outside playing. PLEASE do not move here. If you do move here, make sure you keep your documents and recipes.
Can’t believe how long it takes for them to fix a broken AC system and spray for roaches! This is ridiculous!!
We had scheduled a tour to look at one of the 1B, 1B units at 10am today. When we arrived, we noticed a sign that said they’ll be back at 11am. This already gave us a wrong first impression, but we tried to be understanding and waited till 11:30 and they still never arrived.. It’s one thing to be a few minutes late, but we waited an hour and a half and they still never came knowing they had a scheduled tour. Glad we dodged a bullet…

They have waterbugs terribly, pest control doesn’t really help much. Other neighbors complained about having bed bugs and the trash is ALWAYS overflowing. I had to fight for months to get my deposit back from new management. Hopefully they’ve made a huge change with the place

Very very noisy. The bedroom is facing the ground and very very noise every single day. And poor sound insulation so you can clearly hear what upstairs is talking about

I have been in this community since 11/2016. Any issues I've had have been taken care of in no more than 24 hours. Front office staff are courteous and maintenance is extremely prompt. I am currently looking to upgrade from 2 bedroom to the 3 bedroom and stay a couple more years. My ONLY complaint is that they only have onsite laundry. My stay would be indefinite if I couple get a washer/dryer in unit.

I’m so sorry but this is the worst neighborhood and apartment you could ever have they got mold on the shower broken pipes in the laundry room and nothing is updated u are being SCAMMED!!!!
Some of the apartments have bugs. There are huge roaches outside the apartments in the common area. Maintenance will not fully address any issues. You will need to call multiple times for the same thing. Management will tell you anything and do the opposite. Will swear later that they didn't say it. Record your conversations. Virginia is a one party state. Don't expect snow removal. If it snows expect to be stuck in the lot for a couple of days. In addition, the sidewalks will not be shoveled or salted. Office staff (Janet) is rude and does not want to hear any complaints. She gets defensive. If you are expecting a nice laundry room you will be disappointed. Picture a dirty broom closet with ONE washer and ONE dryer and no air circulation. The laundry room doors are not locked. There was a homeless guy sleeping in there once. After someone tried to break in to my neighbor's apartment, the homeless guy disappeared. Anyone can put two and two together. After this incident I was told by Ashley in the office that the door would be locked and we would be issued keys. It didn't happen. So as you can see, they care very little about the resident's safety. There is only star here because I didn't have the option to leave zero. I moved here because I needed to relocate to the area quickly for school. Needless to say, the lease will definitely NOT be renewed.
