I rented an apartment there for 1 year and never was late and never complained. When I moved out, I paid for a professional team to clean the place. 3 months after I moved out, they billed me almost a thousand dollars for a scratch on the stove. This place is a thief so beware.

The property is well located within a few minutes of the 99 freeway. Management has been great and each time I've submitted a work request, maintenance has responded within a few hours. There's a pool in the middle courtyard with BBQs so it's good to sit and enjoy on the weekends. The common areas are good. Besides the pool / BBQ, there's a library area for kids to study, two pool tables, ping pong tables, a small gym with treadmills. Management has events each month for the residents. Also a charging station inside the private parking structure that gives a full charge for about $9. And an Amazon package room for deliveries. Trader Joes is a 5 min walk. Target, Kroger, and Whole Foods are all within a ten-minute drive. Ikea has a drop off point nearby in mall if you order online. There are weekly events at the mall - farmers market, yoga, and more. Restaurants, FedEx and UPS nearby. There's some car noise from the nearby parking structure (north side) and freeway (east side) and weekly concerts at the mall. The building is on the large side with 270-ish units in four stories but I've not experienced the typical apartment loud talking at 2 am. On top of the monthly rent, there is a charge for water, sewer, and trash. Also a charge for technology for the building access system and the doors codes, not keys. Electricity and Internet are by renter. I've been here just under six months and I recommend it.

All the halls have a strange moldy smell to them. Only the first floor entrance smell good The parking lot stairwells are almost never cleaned. (dead bugs for years) . - Next to the highway, it is always NOISEY and BUSY! Would not recommend for someone working from home or if you have kids. If not the highway the HALL DOORS are super loud and they will wake you up.- READ THE OTHER REVIEWS TOO - They will also state Unnecessary charges on monthly bill, and you won't get your full deposit back even if your place was used before by others. even if you make a claim. - MY PLACE ALWAYS HAD LEAKS BY SINKS even after asking maintenance to fix. Prices are unnecessarily high for compared to everyplace around the area. In terms of leasing And renewal. Absolutely Do not recommend staying here!!!

I lived there for over a year, before being forced to leave due to the increase in crime and the constant neglect by management. Beyond the fact that our A/C repeatedly went out for days at a time during the summer months (3 different times?), it was the feeling of being unsufe - with my wife being there as well - that prompted us to leave. We were victimized by thieves more than once, my truck was vandalized and broken into in the parking garage (the garage door was often left open for weeks at a time because management wouldn't deal with the mechanical issue), and the open and overwhelming use of illegal drugs by other tenants didn't sit well with us (another issue that management refused to address). Phone calls, voicemails, and emails to management were usually ignored, and when I was able to talk with management in person during business hours, I would be promised things like, "Oh, we're going to deal with that...I'm scheduling a town hall meeting with the other tenants and you will be notified about it..." but we would never hear anything further. For the outrageous price that we paid this apartment over nearly two years, my overall experience was very poor, and we left feeling violated and taken advantage of. If you are looking for an apartment in the Cinco Ranch area, please shop around, as there are much cleaner, safer, and friendlier options that the Grand at LaCenterra. Buyer Beware!

Costs a lot of money to live here, so you'd think you were getting top service and safety, but oh no. Multiple car thefts right out of their "secure" garage. Multiple robberies from apartments, with interior doors that only open to a "secure" hallway/building. The staff are clueless. This is all a matter of police record, so let's see them respond to this review.... DO NOT rent here if you value your possessions our family's safety!!

Been living here for years and Roscoe management sucks! They want your money but they don’t provide you good services. Dirty carpets which is rarely vacuum or cleaned, trash rooms filled with trash bags, loud noises at night, garage doors always left open, car break-ins, lost property and the list goes on. Don’t believe them when they say it’s a safe place. They seriously need to fix things instead of ignoring residents concerns.

Just signed my lease. A lot of run around I guess because they're under new management. Was told water/sewer/trash were included, lease shows they are NOT. Was told there were NO move in specials...then later when I asked the manager why there were Feb and March but no April and May specials online he said they just weren't updated yet... so I got one but had to really ASK for it after being told no already. Also, I have called to leave a message or to ask a general question and have had people be a little snooty--its not what you say, its *how* you say it. I decided to move in because manager was polite and honestly, he sold me. I was scared before talking to him because of the girls that answer, but could just be some bad attitudes.
I called to get some pricing and info and Lauren was probably the most unpleasant person I encountered this week. "Thank you for calling the Grand this is Lauren," "Hi there, do you guys have any 2x1?" "No." "Okay.. do you guys have any small 2x2s?" "No." "Okay...... when do you think you'll have anything?" "When people put in their notice to vacate." Short, rude, completely unhelpful.

I have been here a few months now, and I do not regret my decision to lease here. The building is, of course, brand new, and that makes up for a lot. Management is very responsive and so far it has been a good experience sorting out any small issues that have arisen. The other tenants that I have seen are a quiet, good sort of people, and most keep to themselves, except for a group of noisy children that are allowed to run the hall in front of my door every evening (your experience may vary). My one complaint, of course, is that the rent is very high for the square footage. Yes, there are a lot of amenities that will be eventually completed, and you are right by LaCenterra, but still - very high priced, not worth the money for most working people who are only home in the evenings. Another sticking point is the parking garage - not such a problem yet because the building is not full, but I know that once it is the garage will become a nightmare. It is too narrow for all but compact cars, very poorly designed for this neighborhood where everyone has large luxury cars or SUVs/trucks. All in all, however, I would certainly recommend the Grand at LaCenterra. It is a more classic apartment style building than the typical suburban collection of 2 or 3 story buildings you usually see. I lived in an apartment in Paris for a few years and this building reminds me more of that lifestyle than any other suburban complex. Any downsides here are comparatively easy to live with when you consider the good management, new construction, and nice location of the complex.
Still partially under construction, but one of the very few selected tenants to move in early!!! Spectacular views and great local shopping and restraunts. La Centerra has everything you would ever need. Our leasing staff is exceptional with all our needs and paid very close attention to our move. Nothing short of excellent!!
