Potomac Yard/Potomac Greens occupies a one-and-a-half-mile stretch along the Potomac River in northeast Alexandria. With Four Mile Run serving as both the neighborhood and city's northern boundary, the less-than-one-mile expansion westward from the river creates a long, rectangular neighborhood with ample green space along the water.
The area also features good shopping and dining opportunities, while not leaving much space left over for residential area. Thus, Potomac Yard/Potomac Greens has become a destination neighborhood as well as a residential one.

Great apartment building. Staff is amazing and helpful. Only exception is the employee appreciation has gone down hill. Hopefully can be fixed for future residents.
Nice to be at an area near metro and to have the amentities we have. But the fact that they tested alarms without telling us led many to panic and call the FD.

We love the apartment! A few minor things keep it from being 5 stars. The walls are pretty thin so you can often hear your neighbors and the oxygen room has been closed since we moved in a few months ago.

Our apartment was available on time, however it was not thoroughly cleaned. The LVP floors were dirty, the carpets were not shampooed. There was hair on the walls, dust and spiderwebs hanging from blinds. The closet smelled of dirty cat litter and we found cat hair all over as well. The washing machine smelled sour and the dryer while in use was unbearable loud. Once we notified the front office nothing was done right away but eventually all of our complaints were resolved. I wish all of these things were taken care of prior to move-in.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating when I was unable to move my car for maintenance work, and were proactive in giving me all of the information needed to renew my lease. One suggestion would be more emphasis on helping people meet each other at building events, maybe with events by floor or something similar.

The only downside is the alarms are much louder and piercing than my previous place. Even the fire dept itself agrees when I told them about it last April. But I haven’t had a maintenance problem in ages!

We have loved living here since moving in until recently. Our vehicle was broken into last weekend. Window busted out, dash board ripped out, stereo stolen. We heard another vehicle was broken into as well. We pay to park in a "secure" and monitored garage. We reported the break in to the police. Since this has happened management has done nothing to inform the other residents and they have yet to call the police themselves to review video footage. Yet when someone's tires were stolen an email was sent. Their lack of concern and their oh well attitude does not sit right with me. They only reached out to us because my husband sent them an email. Luckily it wasn't a person that was hurt, but it still takes away your sense of feeling safe. All we want is for them to inform the residents who live here. Why is that so hard? Management wanted to meet with us but we were unavailable the day they wanted to meet. My husband offered two other days that would work that have since passed.They never reached out. We have heard nothing else from them.

I will keep this review short, as it takes away from my time, and I understand that Frasier Management nor Bozzuto could care less. Our quality of life has dwindled rapidly at the Frasier. Crime has increased, as IO have witnessed people doing drugs inside the property, multiple vehicles break ins have occurred up to felony levels. Managment feels they have the right to suppress information critical to the safety of the residents, by acknowledging they do not have to inform. If this is thier philosophy in life, they severely lack any moral character.

Overall a great place to live with terrific management and living conditions. I’d recommend the Frasier to anyone. The front desk personnel and maintenance staff are outstanding. The apartment I live in feels new and like everything works well (2024). Reason it is four stars and not five: 1. I live on the Rt 1 side and the sound of cars keeps me up at night unless I use earplugs; 2. The neighborhood is car-heavy with too much speeding and blowing through stop signs; 3. The fire alarm went off at 5 am once and that was so disruptive and alarming that we actually considered not renewing just because of it. Thankfully it was only once so far in our six months here. Again, great place to live overall especially if you can get a good price.

So far, I am enjoying moving into the Frasier. The management and maintenance teams are responsive and super nice. My neighbors are friendly. The location is also super convenient with the metro and various shops nearby.

The building is always clean. The staff is so nice and helpful. Any time you need maintenance they are there to help fast. Definitely a great place where to live.

Much more secure and less bug infested than my last place. Especially since I have a place to relax should I have to quarantine. Convenient location regarding restaurants groceries and metro too

Very smoothly. We received our tour with the Janie and she was very sweet! She answered our questions right away. We also spoke with Kyiefa who was also very sweet and very helpful! The management team here is doing an amazing job! The building is wonderful and we enjoy living here!

We have been here for almost 8 years. Our experience here has been great! The staff is top-notch - excellent service and maintenance. Common areas are always clean, and we appreciate the ongoing efforts to modernize the building. Management is responsive and there's no unnecessary red tape.

I’ve been here for about a year now, and I really love living at the Frasier – great amenities, modern communal spaces, attractive trims and finishes, a warm leasing office staff, and helpful maintenance team.

Fantastic location in proximity to DC and Old Town, with access to Potomac Yard Metro Station. Wonderful neighborhood with Potomac Yard Park right around the corner!
