The Francis

Great community, ammenities and are close to everything in the city south end. We have really liked our unit by the only downside is the massive increase in our renewal which was around $250. We are looking at other options but have loved living here.

Move in was a breeze due to amazing service from Hayley and Catherine. They answered all of the questions I have had, secured my packages I sent over, and reserved the elevator without any issues.

The staff is amazing, and the amenities are phenomenal. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I’ve lived here over 3 years and have chosen to stay because of these reasons.

We have loved living here. It’s honestly been awesome. The lovely ladies at the front desk and Concierge have been awesome. Additionally (and most recently) we put it in a work order for repair in our closet. Within 2 hrs of the submitted work order, the item was fixed. Never seen such fast service before. This has made our experience here one in which makes us think we’ll stay another year here.

A very friendly staff and I love the concierge here the views are amazing. Love the amenities, cool place to live close to work Family and fun.

It’s a wonderful place to live. There are a lot of great amenities, the pool is very large and there’s always more than enough space for everyone to be outside even on a Saturday. The gym is large and with a view of the city and pool. 10/10 amenities.

I love living here at the Francis! Everything here is truly amazing and the best! The amenities is by far the best and its so nice having wholes food nearby as well that’s walking distance !!

I love living here! It's so close the light rail and Whole Foods. I like having a concierge. I enjoy the common space, especially the pool. I like that parking is secured in a garage.

Great apartment complex, but the shortage of EV chargers is a serious problem. I won't be able to continue living here if this isn't resolved. It's the only thing preventing a perfect review.

Pretty good so far, concierge is very nice! We have met with the maintenance supervisor, nice guy with high energy. We love the rooftop pool, mornings out there are amazing!

Everyone has been super helpful. I am not the most patient person and moving is very stressful. Catherine at concierge. Tiara and Alyson in leasing have been terrific. Everyone we have dealt with is awesome. We are ver excited to be in charlotte full time soon.

Living at The Francis has been an incredible experience. From the moment I moved in, I felt right at home. The location is unbeatable—nestled in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, I’m just steps away from great restaurants, parks, coffee shops, and entertainment. Whether I want to catch a show, meet up with friends, or just enjoy a peaceful walk, everything I need is right outside my door.

Im never leaving. They have all the amenities you need plus more. They always have events going on and keep the building nice and tidy. It’s a lovely place.

My resident experience has been great overall. The community is well-maintained, the neighbors are friendly, and the location is very convenient. The only minor downside is the train noise, which can be noticeable at times, but it hasn’t significantly affected my overall enjoyment of living here.

We absolutely love living at the Francis! We have been here for a few years and couldn’t think of a better place. We would love for the outlets in the parking garage to function but know that is a different property management company not fixing the issue.

Twelve pool chairs for hundreds of apartments is frighteningly ugly on the weekends when people are clumped all together, three and four to a towel, bringing yucky folding chairs and sitting a top picnic tables. It seems like false advertising to have a lovely pool and not be able to enjoy it. However, aside from that, the building is beautiful, and the gym is stunning.

Couldn’t ask for a better home. The residence is clean, peaceful, and well designed. I love the location it’s close to Whole Foods and my gym which is perfect.

I recently moved to the Francis, and I genuinely love it here. From day one, everything has been seamless, and I already feel at home. Big thanks to Tiara and Ty for being so helpful throughout the entire process - they made everything easy and stress-free. Also really appreciate the maintenance team and concierge - everyone’s been super responsive, friendly, and on top of things. The whole vibe here is peaceful, clean, and just feels right. I’m so happy I chose this place!!!

overall amazing amenities, staff are very kind, and everyone is always willing to help. the only problem was the application process that was the most tedious thing in the world. however, it was worth it!

Unfortunately, the last year of living here as not been enjoyable. Residents partying loudly at all hours of the night. Trash out in the hallways at all hours, including days we do not have trash pick up scheduled. Stains in the hallway carpet due to this. Limiting when we can use the amenities, I personally think the clubhouse should be available to residents at any hour with the amount we have to pay to live here and with residents working jobs at different hours sometimes you may need to use the facilities if you are scheduled for a shift outside of a 9-5. Light fixtures falling out of the ceiling due to upstairs neighbor dropping things on their floor. Security guards/concierge letting guests in the building without checking them in, when the policy is for each resident to fill out a form for guests to check in upon arrival. This place could use a revamp, and quickly. It's labeled as upscale living, but at the current moment I don't feel the building lives up to what it once was.

Living at The Francis is fantastic. From the amenities to lovely staff, I wouldn’t want to rent anywhere else! The ease of living here, in Uptown where I can access a variety of things is one of the best parts.

I LOVE living here so far and the concierge people have been top notch but everyone at the leasing office has been more incompetent than the next one. They made my life a living hell before I moved in yesterday. Each person telling me a different thing, And then lying stating they didn’t say it when I have their emails in writing. I’ve never been more gaslit in my life. The entire leasing office has disrespected me more in my 55 years than ever before. Each and every one needs a serious training on how to deal with perspective tenants and customer service.

I’ve lived here for 15 months and highly recommend this apartment, especially if you’re new to Charlotte. The rooms, amenities, location, concierge, leasing office, and maintenance team are all outstanding and consistently exceed expectations. However, it’s challenging for EV owners, as charging stations are limited and extremely slow, making it difficult to find an available spot. I hope the community will soon expand and upgrade the charging facilities to match their otherwise impeccable standards.

The Francis is the best apartment community in uptown! Great location and lots of variety to choose from in floorplans. Catherine at the concierge is so perfect for her position. She makes living here a delight. Tiara in the leasing office was exceptional. I love living here!

I love living here the friendliness of the team, the convience to everything and the security makes it the ideal place to live! I am looking forward to the pool opening so that I have the opportunity to meet my neighbors.

I've enjoyed my stay. The view is amazing especially at sunrise and sunset. The amenities are nice but I wish the community room was open 24hrs like the gym.

I am so lucky with our community. Everyone is friendly and I love all the pets. The concierge is the best at their job and keeps this place running. The facility is also always so clean.

I've been living in my apartment for 1 year now, and it's been a very positive experience overall. The community is friendly and welcoming, which has made settling in much easier. The location is convenient, with easy access to local amenities and transportation. The apartment itself is comfortable and well-maintained, providing a great environment to come home to after a busy day. However, a major challenge is the limited availability of EV chargers. They are often in high demand, making it difficult to charge my vehicle as needed. If this issue is not addressed, I may have to consider relocating in the future.

Tiara in the leasing office was great! She is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I met with her on Wednesday and am moving in on Saturday! She showed me apartments, told me exactly what I needed to do to get in one, and helped me with the orientation process. Thank you!

Staff is very professional and knowledgeable in offering residents an apartment community that truly feels like home once you come through the doors. Building is well maintained and staff in every department here is on top of any situation that might arise.

Tiara was super helpful and knowledgeable working with me to find the right floor plan and view. Claudia exhibited empathy and probity to help resolve a minor issue with my move in. Catherine has been a great resource and helping logistically get settled in my unit. I look forward to enjoying my new apartment and look forward to being a resident here.

Love the location but the parking is not good. It is owned by a third party and they are not responsive. Neighbors smoke so much weed that it smells in my apartment.

The Francis has surpassed our expectations! Staff is so friendly and the building is very nice. The location cannot be beat. Whole Foods, nail salon, and CVS are on the ground floor. This is such a plus!

I love this place. I would choose it again. The location is perfect. Very close to everything, access to the train, restaurants and market. Quite clean, quiet. The common areas are incredible.
