Property Ratings at The Florian
So I was one of the first people that moved into this building when it opened. I really enjoyed the amenities, and the building is in a convenient location. HOWEVER, they have not been vetting the people who have moved in here since it initially opened. Starting in March I noticed a mix of weed and cigarette smoke. Throughout the last 6 months I have complained, written emails, and placed multiple maintenance requests to address the issue and management has not done a single thing about this problem. The smell will come through the ventilation ducts and will overwhelm any of these 500sq ft. apartments. It has been so bad that I had to leave my apartment for two hours just for it to air out. This is unacceptable and I am angry that this has not been resolved. Ultimately, I have decided to move forward with a complaint to the DC AG's office to resolve the matter.
