It's definitely on the pricier side for not being super close to Dallas and not having as nice amenities as other places but there's plenty of space and plenty of parking always
This was probably my best apartment living experiences.
I would totally recommend the Flats as a place to live, i have been here for a year only and I can already say it has been my best experience in apartment living. The staff is fast and friendly and the apartments have accomplished all of my expectations and more!
Agent was very nice, and we liked the self-guided tour.
The lack of amenities combined with he pricing make this community less attractive than it was when it was under its previous ownership. Frankly, to say we've been disappointed in management' handling of amenities, it' transparency in pricing, and communication during the pandemic would be an understatement. That said, the apartments themselves are nice and the location is wonderful. If you're not a super price-sensitive shopper, this is a worthwhile place to live.
I would recommend, nice area and clean. Several issues, however, with the unit.
I would recommend this complex to friends but that has nothing to do with maintenance.

First they no longer have a Luxor package system. They got rid of it. There are auto break-ins and no security and when people have gone to the office to complain, nothing happens. some of the people that they are allowing into the property are questionable. They have messed up my move out date twice now, this charging me incorrect rent. The first time was in December when I had 3 more months of my rental contract left. The second time was in Feb 1 month before I move out. I don't understand it's as simple as reading the contract. I am seriously considering reporting this property to the state and the attorney general. How many other people are they doing this to? Just don't rent here. It's not worth it

The community seems to be more for college students. The noise and partying can be very disturbing. And some residents do not appear to know how to handle their dogs and be good dog neighbors. I hope you'll try to keep the stairwell in my building, on my side of the building clean. Drink residue, etc. remains on the actual steps and the walls need to be cleaned as people spill things and get sick...?? This is unsightly and unhealthy.
Maintenance is great. However, the communication seems to be the problem.I would hesitate as the efficiency between the request & the actual work order getting to maintenance seems to be inefficient.
I already recommended it and my friend moved in last january. Location is good and this area is safe and clean.
The apartments were great when I first moved in almost 2 years ago. The apartments have gone downhill quick and are way overpriced.
I would recommend because of the convenience, & security. I would not recommend because there is no covered parking as this was stated in the original website. I would like to see a recycle program.
My husband & I lived at an Alta (Wood Residential) property in the past and had a great experience. We lived there for 2 years and were always very pleased with the property staff and management, how situations were handled, how the property was maintained, and how efficient the maintenance staff was when we submitted any request. Everything was very clear for us when signing our lease, we have worked with several of the new staff members on getting our lease done and they have all been extremely helpful. They also all communicate well together to relay anything we request/need and that is also very important as a tenant. We already know how great the Alta properties are and can't wait for our move-in date!

The lease contract completely contradicted what was discussed and agreed to when we met with their leasing agent Lindsay. The lease length, incentive for signing, the number of garages, the cost for each, was all wrong. Then they tried to raise the monthly rent $200 a month to correct the lease length. Ensure that you read the ENTIRE lease agreement before you sing it. Do not trust them!!!!!
