Neighborhood

Perched on a tree-filled hill, Queen Anne is one of Seattle's most famous neighborhoods. It is named for the elegant Victorians that once dominated the landscape. Today, only a handful of the Queen Anne homes remain. As one of Seattle's largest neighborhoods, Queen Anne is often referred to in smaller sections, such as North Queen Anne or Lower Queen Anne.

Extending from the north end of Downtown Seattle to Lake Union's Fremont Cut, Queen Anne changes as you travel through the neighborhood -- the end closest to downtown contains the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, the Museum of Pop Culture, and Key Arena. The north end is a little more residential and is home to Seattle Pacific University. Be sure to visit Kerry Park for amazing views of Downtown Seattle and Mount Rainier.

save yourself from renting here

Since the property was taken over by Greystar the service and maintenance went downhill. It’s impossible to have anything fixed in a reasonable time (if at all!), but management had time to put useless plastic plants in the mail room ?? When reporting any issue you only hear “we are sorry it happened to you” - and there’s no action coming after this comment. Look for another place where you as a renter will be appreciated.

The Eden is a hidden gem of Queen Anne every time I come down Galer and pull into the complex I feel like the city disappears. Tucked into a greenbelt The Eden has embraced the color green with trees and landscaping as a leading aesthetic. This has put a natural sound buffer around the complex turning The Eden into a tiny sanctuary for its residents. With wood burning fire places in all units and trees all around sometimes even taking the trash out can make you feel like you are at a wilderness retreat or cabin.

Don’t move here. Maintenance takes months, standard features like elevators and parking are issues alone.

Security issues

I am deeply disappointed with the lack of action taken by the apartment complex management regarding frequent break-ins! Despite multiple incidents, security measures remain insufficient. Please be wary if you are considering moving into Eden.

I am sorry to hear you have had this experience while living at The Eden. At The Eden we do have community patrol that regularly monitors the community throughout the evening. We continue to do what we are able to as management company with things like this occur. We ask all residents and their guests to report any suspicious activity to the police as the police department can handle theft more directly than we can. We have reached out to them to see if they can offer additional patrols through the community in congruence with our community patrol. I can assure you that The Eden doesn’t get a lot of complaints about theft or car break ins, but we take any report given seriously and provide feedback to our local law enforcement and update our community patrol. If you filed a police report, please provide that to the onsite team so we can make sure to update our records. We appreciate your tenancy and hope that this doesn’t occur again. Burglary issues

This complex has a nice location but major burglary issues! My car has been broken into multiple times despite having a car alarm. What makes it worse is that parking costs $165/car per month! Management has no idea how to combat this and doesn’t even have a single security camera anywhere on the premises. I would not move here!

grossly mismanaged with horrific hidden monthly charges

Constantly over charged on a monthly basis with zero invoices … you have absolutely no idea what you’re being charged for … and when you ask for invoice … crickets … There’s no one ever to talk to … the office is constantly closed … it’s beyond frustrating living experience Run from any Thrive Community… horribly managed … and a extremely unethical in their business practices

THE BEST!!

Such a gorgeous community. The grounds are kept tidy and clean. The office is responsive and pro active. My apartment was ready on time and I was even given a cute welcome home gift. The events are catered to the people in this community, not cheesy - very very fun to attend! The bark park is so adorable and kept up! Could not choose a better place to live.

Hidden Gem!

Great location and beautiful apartments. Love my little tucked away home! I am always telling my friends and family to check it out and the ladies in the office are always so sweet, definitely 10 out of 10!
