Alls good here. I do like it here. Parking can be a little hectic !!! And I dream of an elevator… when I realize I gotta carry groceries up the to the third level. But I just count it as my daily cardio.

Could be worse. Apartment is not updated and very old. Old appliances. Small bathrooms. Old crusty features. Great location and area. Lots to do around the area.

I’ve lived here since February 2024 and enjoy the pool, quaint pond with turtles, and convenient location. However, the apartment has many issues. The doors look kicked in, the AC is inconsistent, and maintenance is unreliable, often requiring multiple work orders. Many things were just painted over instead of properly fixed—tubs weren’t resurfaced, doors were poorly reattached, and there’s mold on window seals and under sinks. A major leak from my upstairs neighbor also caused flooding in my unit. While rent is cheap, the poor maintenance and apartment conditions outweigh the cost.

It’s not terrible but there are always a lot of roaches. And a lot of things in the apartment are older and need to be replaced and not just “updated” by painting over it.

Great staff and quick to act maintenance team. Grounds do have broken glass everywhere including where the dogs poo bins are located. Bark parks could both benefit from artificial turf over the mulch.

My experience with Brookside has been well, occasional issues arise with parking, and heavy issues with internet outages that seem to occur with the office is closed, so during those times no internet, but otherwise okay.

It is nice living here! i love the community and how accessible is the environment It is also safe and free access to the gym, grill area and the trail if I may say! A lot of perks living here it is nearby to buy out needs we can actually walk going to food lion, walmart and even aldi! The leasing officers are always willing to help and there are police officers guarding the area so all and all it is very a good choice to be here!

Me and my daughter moved in a month ago. Absolutely love it here!! I had been looking for a place and was overwhelmed and stressed. I stopped in one day passing by. Thought I’ll just check. I walked in the office doors and was greeted by Natalie . She was so helpful and patient with me. She took me around the property and answered every question I had and questions that I didn’t.?? I wasn’t planning on any of that but I’m so glad she took the extra time to ease my mind. It brought us here. Love our two bedroom apartment and The amenities are great. It is overall just a great place to live!! Thank you Natalie for everything!! A big shout out to the maintenance team as well. They are on their A game!

Wish amenities were better: Valet trash is charged automatically but they don’t actually come like they’re supposed to (reliably). One week, they didn’t come at all and it wasn’t a holiday or anything.

So far it has been great . I love my apartment. It’s a couple minor issues but have been resolved at a timely manner. Any one I’ve talked to at the rent office has been nice and very helpful .

Everything would be fine. But the internet is terrible. Every time the internet turns off after rain. And in the apartment itself there is no signal from the SIM card. And it turns out that you are left without any connection at all. This is terrible in the 21st century.

Brookside has been our home for a year and everything has been great. As soon as we have a request for any issue in our apartment it is quickly resolve. The pool is always clean and the property is kept up to date.

Honestly the apartment itself is great for the price. Amazing and friendly staff. Great location. Internet that’s provided isn’t the best, but having your own personal WiFi works great in this location!

I've been living in this apartment complex since February 2024, and there are several aspects I enjoy. The pool is a great place to relax, and the quaint pond, home to some charming turtles, adds a lovely touch to the environment. The location is also highly convenient, with everything I need close by. However, there are several issues with the apartment itself that need addressing. When I moved in, I noticed that all the doors appeared to have been kicked in, especially the main door to my apartment. The AC sometimes works, but its inconsistency can be frustrating. Maintenance is quite unreliable; you often need to submit multiple work orders before they even come to look at the issue, let alone fix it. It seems like nothing was properly fixed before I moved in; instead, it was just painted over. The tubs were not resurfaced, and the doors were not reattached correctly. I also discovered mold on the window seals and underneath the kitchen sinks. A significant leak from my upstairs neighbor's apartment caused flooding in my unit, which was a major inconvenience. Although it is very cheap to live here, the cons outweigh the price. While I appreciate the positive aspects of this complex, the maintenance and condition of the apartments need serious improvement.

It's a nice area and conveniently located. There isn't a shortage of parking or amenities. The staff is nice and willing to answer questions and make accommodations.
This place is great! They have really turned maintenance around! They are on top of whatever your issue may be! Very nice change from the old management company.
Need bugs sprayed, counters falling apart, needs major updates, no lights or fans in bedrooms. Cracks in walls. Can’t use the gym outside of office hours.
We really enjoy how quiet and beautiful it is the apartment complex and the location is so good, near lots of stores. We like the amenities and the park as well as the pool
I just moved in on Saturday and so far have been loving Brookside. There were minor issues with the apartment but maintenance is very receptive and comes quickly. The community is beautiful.
I have lived here for 3 years now and the with all the new changes to the property such as the pool and area was re-don which is very nice and the walk way around the man made lake is also awesome . I think the only negative is the price for the size of and look of my apartment wish it could be updated. Counter tops , stove , and fridge Mayb adding a washer dryer combo would be awesome !!
One of the best 1st 30 days I’ve had in my new apartment!! Excited to staying here for the near future, enjoying time at the pool, and meeting some new neighbors.
This apartment came right on time for me! The office staff is very helpful and have always answered all my questions. I’ve had to put in work orders for maintenance, they came fast, even called me while I was at work to make sure it was ok to enter, and then fixed the problem fast! Very nice! It’s a beautiful community with nice people. It’s a great thing to feel comfortable and safe! A great place to live with a reasonable rent too!
This is truly the best community I've lived in. Office managers are available for contact even on weekends. quick response to requests! all 5 stars!!!
My experience has been beyond amazing. I wish we had an elevator to help with large items. But it makes for great cardio. ;) Maintenance and staff are attentive, friendly, and involved. We’re a community!
Amazing! Just need our people that fix our stuff to just let us know with a note or some type of notification when they enter your apartment to fix things!
I moved in a week ago & Brookside has already proven to be a great place to live. From all the amenities, quick respond from management & safely measures. I love it here!
So far so good! I love staying here and looking forward to renewing my lease bc of the pleasant experience I’m having! Also I love how the complex is updating the amenities here giving the apartment a now more glamorous look to it, and just to throw in there that maintenance is doing a wonderful job with service calls
