The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Cobb
There's lots to love about this beautiful 1910 building in the middle of Seattle's Central Business District, starting with the building's gorgeous beaux-arts style architecture. With more and more modern, lackluster boxes being erected throughout Seattle, this ornate brick and terra cotta faced beauty is a real stand out. The inside, while still classic and retaining a few of the building's original elements, is mostly brand new as the building was taken down to the studs in 2006 and rebuilt from the outside walls in metamorphosing from a medical/dental building into luxury apartments. Herringbone dark wood floors, granite and marble countertops, and air conditioning (yes!) are just a few of the many things that set this building apart. While ours may not have the biggest roof top terrace in the city, ours is classy. While ours may not have the biggest gym in the city, ours is in an old bank vault. And while ours may not have a game room, a pool, a bike-repair station or a dog-washing room like some apartment buildings in Seattle, ours has timeless class. Building aside, our location could not be better. We sit above the University Street Station for the light rail. Downtown's public transportation hubs surround us. Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Belltown--all a few blocks away, and yet a world away. Ours is a quiet block as we are surrounded mainly with office towers that empty out at 5pm, but the nightlife offered by our neighboring 'hoods is just a short walk or Uber ride away. Overall, The Cobb offers classic style with modern amenities that appeal to those of us who prefer a building with a soul over one with an outdoor fire pit; one with a storied history over one with a modern sterility.
