Property Ratings at The Catalina
Pro: These apartments are on Main St, between Dobson and 101 Freeway. (It's closer to Dobson than the 101). Con: -Flimsy building construction. You can practically hear people breathing. If you live on the bottom floor, invest in a year's long supply of earplugs, because you are going to need them if you want any piece if the upstairs tenants are home. -You will be chastised by existing tenants about not parking in their spot; despite there being no parking assignments. The leasing office is non-responsive, regardless of the mode of communication. -The neighborhood is not the best. It's not the worst, but more like the next to worst. -Some neighbors keep to themselves. Others are elements of mischief and mayhem. Rude, selfish, inconsiderate, self-centered and mistaken that this is a shared situation and not their own private sanctuary. Too bad the housing market is out-of-control, because I would move in a heartbeat if there was a viable alternative. I also would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone; even my worst enemy.
