The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Property Ratings at The Brittany's Apartments and Townhomes
In summer of 2023 my girlfriend and I were looking for an apartment in Rochester and The Brittany's 4.9 score on Google caught our attention. We decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. We lived there for 1.5 years until we relocated to another city due to job reasons, and I'm here to add a 5 star rating to this place. I think this place is not only the top apartment in Rochester but also in the top tier in the country. Things that impressed us the most are: 1) Super friendly staff 2) Transparent pricing. Absolutely no hidden fees. Hassle free deposit return. 3) Exceptional maintenance. The townhouses are in excellent shape so there aren't many maintenance requests during our stay. Whenever something comes up they always respond very fast. We love the fireplace in the winter. Once it stopped working. Since the repair is beyond their skills they brought in external experts to fix it. Once the microwave oven and the washer machine had problems. When they found that it was not an easy and quick fix they just brought in and put up brand new ones! They treat customer satisfaction very seriously and I would say not many business can achieve their level nowadays. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rochester.
I've been staying at the Brittany's with my family for the past two years and it's been a wonderful experience. The townhome is kept very clean, well maintained, with a friendly community. Everything is very convenient and nearby. Here, the management team is incredibly friendly, approachable and always available to help resolve any inconveniences for their residents. I would highly recommend!
I’ve lived here for almost 8 years and love it! The patio is above the garage and offers a safe and secluded place to have an early morning cup of coffee or a meal anytime of the day. The double stall garage is ideal for those with more than one vehicle and large enough to put a deep freeze, bicycles, and other items needing to be stored. The master bedroom is very large, and I swear, could easily fit two queen beds- that’s how big it is. The area is quiet and well maintained and so safe that a few nights I accidentally left the garage door open all night and not a thing had been touched. The townhouses are family built and operated and the Nelsons and their staff are second to none when it comes to communication and responding to issues that may arise. I doubt you would find a better, more efficient management staff anywhere else.
We were new to the Rochester, MN area and looked at a variety of different apartments and townhomes. We stumbled across The Brittany’s, took a tour of a home and immediately knew it was the place we wanted to live. The business is built, owned, and family operated. They’re kind individuals and I know if I ever had a problem or issue, I could contact them and they would take care of us. Management is very communicative and makes an effort to avoid inconveniences. While we haven’t lived in their apartments, the townhomes are awesome. We love the fireplace in the winter and the patio in the summer. There’s no overnight parking allowed on the pavement, (in order to make room for maintenance, snow removal, or other emergency vehicles) but each townhome has a double garage. The neighbors are usually quiet and we’ve never had any problems. You might hear the occasional music or dishes being moved, but it has never impacted our sleep or leisure time. There’s no fancy pool or gym, but the space we have in our townhome allowed us to keep a treadmill downstairs. IBM and Douglas Trail are very close to The Brittney’s. They both have biking/running trails that go on for miles. IBM is also a free park-and-ride spot for all you Mayo employees/students. Target, Costco and multiple banks, liquor, and grocery stores are about a 5-10 min drive. You don’t even need to get on the highway to get to them. If you do need to get to the highway, it will take about 5 minutes. We’ve only had to call maintenance once and it was for a slow draining sink. They quickly fixed it (on a weekend day too) and that was the end of it. Easy and simple. As far as complaints go, we really don’t have many. Sometimes the white paint they use can get marked up easily, but we just touch it up with some paint they gave us. The entryway can let out some heat in the winter but is easily fixed with a door draft stopper. Appliances are a little dated, but they work just fine. Overall, we’re very happy living at The Brittany’s and I would have no problem recommending them to anyone who moves to the Rochester, MN area. If you’ll only have to live here for a few years, it’s a great place to live. If you plan on living in Rochester for the next 30 years and don’t want to own a home, it’s a great place to live. These opinions are my own. I was not pressured or given free rent to write this, we sincerely enjoy living at The Brittany’s.
I lived at the Brittany’s for over 2 years and loved living there. The neighbors were friendly, and we always felt that we had enough privacy. The friendly staff was always quick to respond to any of our needs or maintenance requests. In over 10 years of renting, this was the best rental company I have ever worked with.
