I lived here 2019-2021. The apartments themselves are fine, bathrooms are really small. At some point management switched and went downhill to the point it seemed like the property manager had a personal issue against me (but not my husband, mind you). We really only rented the second year because we couldn't afford to move.
I’ve always enjoyed living here. Management and all staff are super friendly and fantastic. Not once did I ever have trouble getting an issue fixed and Ms Haretha always had a friendly smile for everyone. I’d still be there if not for a new job!!
1 have lived here a going on a year now, and will soon be renewing for another year. I love my neighbors and love the feeling of us being a community not just an apartment community. I have lived in many different apartments in Huntsville as well as other towns. All had good and bad points such as staff, neighbors, property value. Not to exclude Brazos, there are good and bad days here was well. Some times the resident manager can be a little grumpy and strong willed, she is only human though. She is very intelligent and she is always on top of her game. She is always willing to go above and beyond to help her residents as well as her staff in anyway needed. You can tell the property is ran by individuals that are more like a family than coworkers. The maintenance supervisor as well as the assistant manager are comedians in their own right, and to see Mrs Harethas smile each day as she walks property is a true blessing, what an amazing soul she has. It is apparent that the staff takes pride in their jobs and the property. The Brazos is an older community and is well taken are of by the manager and her staff. I do feel safe living here however I am still diligent in making sure of my own safety as well as my neighbors. One will only be safe if aware of your surroundings at all times, but living here makes it more comforting.
The worst apartments i have ever lived in.management is non existent.so is maintenance.they need to tear it down and start over again.only good thing about it is the location
I have lived here for 3 years and it used to be completely different. Now, it is seriously the worst apartment complex in Huntsville. The management is HORRIBLE. They are never open during their posted business hours, they take forever to answer the phone, and they are incredibly rude. The complexes are out of date and falling apart, and maintenance is unreliable. I put in a work order for my dishwasher TWO MONTHS AGO and it STILL isn't fixed. They took TWO MONTHS to change the locks on my apartment after it was broken into. The maintenance man said that "it was just a ghost." Seriously, DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have lived at the brazos apartments for almost 2 years now. And at first, it seemed like a lovely, welcoming property to live at. But shortly after, our work orders stopped getting filled in a timely manner, sometimes taking MONTHS to get completed. Our doorknob to our front door fell off, and we were locked inside for HOURS. Nobody is ever in the office or answering phones, so we had to track the manager down personally to fix a matter of security. In my personal opinion, the manager picks favorites and she ran this complex into the ground. If you're considering checking them out, I would highly advise you to reconsider your thoughts.
We have lived here for 5 years. The staff contastantly changes and the maintenance staff takes forever to do any repairs. There is no incentive to stay since they don't keep their word on price increases. Price not worth the space.
I have never lived somewhere as awesome as this. The staff was so enjoyable and always had an amazing attitude. I never had any problems with my apartment while living here. The things I did have a problem with were solved within a matter of calling them. If you were to live anywhere in Huntsville, this would defiantly be the place!
Nice property, spacious attractive floorplans, good amenities, and really nice office personnel. Convenient access to highway without the noisiness of being right on the access road. Very close to Walmart, Kroger, lots of restaurants. Out of my budget this year (it's worth the price, just more space than I can afford at the moment), but I'd like to move here in the future.
