I moved back in 2010 and I even watched them build them. My niece told me I should check them out. They showed me around and tried to get me on the first floor but I wanted to be on the top floor and I've been there since. I've watched several management teams come and go. I've watched many families grow and had a hand in raising a few of the kids here. This place is a great place to live, every person in the office is like my family. Anytime I'm in the office and people come in to tour, I tell them all how wonderful it is to live here and they'll love living here too. They really make this place feel like home. Maintenance takes care of the property and any issues very fast. They have events for the kiddos that I love helping out with that are educational and fun. I love it here and I love the team.

I toured with Denice and spoke to Katie. The staff is so sweet and helpful! They answered all my questions. The property is so cute and beautifully maintained, and the apartment I toured has a lot of space and has a cozy, homey feel to it (The pantry is HUGE). I'm excited about the full gym; it even has a stair climber, which I haven't seen very often in an apt gym. Overall, I had a great experience, I'll definitely be leasing here. I highly recommend checking it out!!

Poor management they don’t care or communicate. I moved into a unit that was completely different than what I toured. The unit was dirty with dents and dings in every room. Bathroom is so dirty and has rusted hardware. Cops are in and out on this complex.

I gave the benefit of the doubt with this apartment complex after reading the reviews. It is going on week 3 since I put in an application. I have to be the one to call or email every other day to even get an answer, which get ignored! I still don't know if we have been accepted. I guess you have to show up face to face to get anything done. I feel like we wasted money applying for here. I'm dissapointed, seemed like a nice place. Sad we do not get any call backs and emails are not answered.

Dangerous high crime place, cops in and out of this place due to theft and assault crimes. Awful management and poor upgrades/thin walls. Save your money and be safe Stay away
We lived here for 3 years, so we moved in when this was still Avana McKinney Ranch. The staff with Avana wasn’t perfect, but they tried, which is more than I can say for this office crew. Blue Atlantic cares for nothing more than nickel and dime-ing every single cent they can from you. We lived here for 3 years, never had a late payment, our lease comes to end, and they say we have to give them 2 months notice. Last time I checked Atlantic, we never asked you to take over our lease, and we never agreed to the change in policy. I gave them 30 days notice, which the girl in the office accepted, then we get told it’s actually 60 days or we need to pay 2 months rent. So basically pay us or pay us, we don’t care at all about your history living here. Awful staff, just awful.
Been living here for a little over a year and everything was fine, apartment wise,till the renovations started. It definitely seems like some of the workers dont know what they are doing. The "upgrades" are also very bland and in most cases not upgrades at all. Kitchen counters were beautiful black and grey speckled. Now they are plain white and seems to be a much cheaper material. The sink was double sided and had a nice deepness to them. Now it is one single sink that is no deeper than slightly passed the wrist. What kind of joke is that? The actual faucets are nicer which is literally the only plus. Most likely will not be renewing my lease when the time comes.

I moved to this apartment 3 weeks ago and I regret it so bad.on the day that I moved the apartment was not ready to move in, it was dirty full of problem, the shower did not work the floor is all scratched, stain on the carpet in the bedroom,broken blind,over spray paint on the floor and in the refrigerator. the apartment had bugs in the kitchen drawers no pet control at all.the stairs have cigarette smoke everywhere it’s so dirty,the neighbors are rude leaves garbage at the door all day long because of this has fly everywhere and smell of garbage Until today I'm waiting for them to fix the blind.Don’t move here!
Extremely poor maintenance even after paying timely hefty rent. I was communicated only 2 days in advance to wind up everything for some work they wanted to do in my Kitchen & bathroom. Post that work lot of things didn't function in the apartment & maintenance takes forever. Also, left my entire apartment full of dust & nails all around the place. I am living in apartments for past so many years & never seen all that kind of work happening when tenants are still living there & paying rent as well. Not a clean place & dog poop everywhere.

I’ve been living in this apartment complex for almost 3 years. I never really had any issues, they were very helpful. However, since this new management company has taken over, things have been falling apart. The new staff cares nothing about their employees or their residents. The maintenance team has been dropping like flies. The guy who came to fix our apartment left it broken because he had no idea what was going on. The staff is very disrespectful. Please second guess making this move because, when you really need them, they can’t help. They don’t open the office on time. It just chaos here, don’t put yourself through that.. just waiting for the end of my lease. Did I mention they canceled my renters insurance without telling me?

I’ve been at Avana for a little over a year and I really like the help and professionalism I have received from our newest leasing consultant Miranda. She owns her mistakes, tells the truth, not afraid to apologize and she goes out her way to make sure her residents leave satisfied. I also like the fact that she always greets me when I walk in the office and if she’s helping someone she doesn’t just ignore me, but informs me that she will be with me in just a minute. I've been living here for 3 years and while this location has it's pros and cons, I am happy with my choice. Pros : walk in laundry room, garden tubs, huge closet, even bigger living room if you choose a unit without a balcony, huge pantry, ample parking, property in itself is just nice to look at, convenient location near 121 and 75, the Allen outlet is literally 3 minutes away, movie theater... I can go on.. The main cons to this place is the poor design with the wooden floors. I've been in the same apartment for 3 years on the 2nd floor and each person who has moved in or out, I can hear their footsteps. It is the absolute most annoying thing to me, however I've learned to accept it. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to move into the McKinney area.
It is a great, beautiful place. Staff could be more helpful though. When moving in, I never got a Welcome packet that told me about the community or gate codes. I don't recall any newsletters that talk about pool/grill constructions. When I signed my lease, I was told that my apartment would come with a balcony but it doesn't. I would still recommend that apartment if they were more spot on.
This apartment is great! Not only is it spacious, it's soooo close to major freeways which means extremely easy access to shopping of all sorts. It's literally 7-8 minutes from everywhere in the area!
I moved into these apartments last November and love them. Pool is safe and family friendly. Plenty of parking. Only issue is the office seems short staffed. Good thing you can make maintenance requests, pay rent, and see any upcoming events online to make up for it. Place discounted tickets to Rangers games!!
This apartment is very nice, the maintenance crew maintains the dwellings very well. The staff is always friendly, the pool area is beautiful, and the gym is very accessible at any time. Centrally located, but only a few hundred yards from the freeway so sitting outside sometimes is very noisy. Overall it is a great place to live.
