Really like theses apartments , lots of space, lots of windows and the appliances offered are really nice. Would renew my rent if I wasn't moving back out of state for school.
Clean areas, plenty of places to walk, plenty of parking, friendly staff!
We love, living here and love the space… However, communication with property is awful. We haven’t received a water bill since October, it is now May. Anytime I reach out about this problem I’m either ignored or told it’s not resolved yet. There’s also dog poop everywhere. The space itself is nice but that’s about it unfortunately.
The apartments are decent, but management is horrible. There are never any responses, even from maintenance, despite emailing several times. There’s constantly dog poop all over the grass and there’s never dog bag refills. The new buildings also have no street lights, and there’s been several car break ins due to this.
Good size rooms and closet space, nice appliances, floors, and countertops. I’ve had issues with my toilet in the main bedroom since I moved in. They’ve come to fix it a couple of times but it just keeps needing repair. Probably just needs to be replaced. There’s also a loud knocking noise when the tenants upstairs shower.
I was looking to rent an apartment in Roanoke and contacted Monica of Fralin Realty Management at the Aspen Apartments last Friday (6/24) via telephone. I informed her of the unit that I wanted to lease, I filled out the application and she informed me that she would send the lease agreement to me on Monday (6/27). I finally received the lease agreement Tuesday morning (6/28) and I printed out the agreement to review last evening. I received a text from Monica at 11:30 this morning (6/29) that I needed to sign the lease agreement and also remit payment by noon today! My planned move in date is August 19, I also work full time so I had not anticipated the rush at which they want to collect their money. After 5 text messages from Monica this morning, I advised her to remove my name from consideration and that I will be contesting the application fee that they accepted. This seems too much like a scam. They have my completed application, but they want payment ASAP? Beware based on the rushed approach, the minimal communication and the anticipated speed with which they expect payment. Kevin Silvey
