10/3/24: I am moving out of building 8 in a month, and today a woman from the office helped herself into my apartment at 10a, said that she was looking at my place to make it ready for someone to move in, and I should have already left. I had to storm to the office hours later to get any addressing this issue. 9/9/24: A small list of what I've put up with since Brookfield took over around May 2024: -no hot water for the majority of two months. -water leaking from the upstairs unit's boiler into my carpet, causing water stains on the wall that they just painted over (in an incredibly obvious way, the paint doesn't match after weeks of letting it settle in) -me having to beg maintenance to come out, and then they claim that they are just fixing what the old managers wouldn't do (except old maintenance team would solve any issue I put in the portal within 24 hours every time). -maintenance constantly changing the same part over and over when it doesn't fix the problem (i.e. changing the photo cell to fix the lights that aren't coming on for the building at night). -was told the regional engineer would come out on a specific day to figure out why my apartment keeps tripping the breaker switch for my boiler, only to have him cancel morning of his flight from Dallas. A month later, he still hasn't deigned to come down to Austin. -emailed the leasing office on a Friday about how the lease I signed guaranteed access to the package room 24/7, and the leasing agent told me that they can change whatever they want within the lease anytime they want because a new company took over (this is absolutely not true, know your rights as a tenant). -constantly flickering outdoor building lights, shining through the basically see-through blinds. -package room is locked outside of office hours, even though the lease says it will be open 24/7 STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPLEX UNTIL BROOKFIELD LEAVES

The fire in my building in January has meant lots of people going in and out of the units around me. Not to mention the fact that electricity does not work in half the building, therefore there are no lights in the hallway at night when I take my dog out. On top of that there are still roaches in my apartment after multiple visits from pest control over several months.

To be honest getting to the end of my second year and things just fell apart. Put in request for things to be fixed in my apartment waited like 3 months for a new washer top for them to finally order a whole new washer. Old appliances. Multiple times I’ve seen the hvac and the condition it is in is horrible. Electrical outlet issues

Good location. Affordable living. Simple apartments. Recently installed car charging spots. Good floor plans. Rude Maintenance Manager. New technology and amenity fee when there’s barely any amenities. Mailboxes are not accessible at all times. Really? I can’t check my mail after work? Some units don’t have microwaves….? Asked leasing to power wash the apartments due to trash juice everywhere - nothing has been done. Now there are reaching flying around. It’s just unfortunate for an apartment complex with a lot of potential.

Been having serious issues with mice lately and lost about 100 dollars in groceries due to it. It has proven very frustrating and I am having trouble feeling comfortable in my home. I love the community but this hurdle has been a real weight for me.

I like it here, it's always been really fantastic and I appreciate the hardwork the staff puts in but lately the parking lot has been awful to find spots in. There's also been an increase of garbage just sitting in the lot which is very disappointing

Some nice and different floor plans to choose from, but nothing special when it comes to management. Same here as everywhere, if it doesn't benefit them they definitely won't go out of their way for you. Maintenance can now randomly barge into your apartment with a master code since they took away regular keyed deadbolts and gave every unit touch pad locks, calling them an amenity. Also same as everywhere else, continuing to hike up the prices of everything without adding or giving much back to the residents. Location isn't anything special. Wells Branch on the west side has gotten worse over the years. I often hear it flat out called ghetto and honestly I would not disagree. I once walked from 711 back to the complex at night, 10 maybe 15 minuet walk tops, and it was scary. Won't do that again.

Nice, quiet apartment complex, have had no issues so far. Unnrenovated apartments definitely show their age, but layout is still nice and condition is livable

My apartment experience has been a nightmare. Cockroach and insect infestations have plagued us since moving in. Adding to the frustration, the groceries are stored in the washer/dryer space, unsanitary and inconvenient. My mailbox was broken, and despite reporting it, no response or action was taken. The leasing office denied any knowledge of my report. They eventually fixed it after weeks, but failed to notify me. The overall lack of response and communication has been disappointing. This apartment is not recommended due to unaddressed issues and poor management.

Great place to reside. Lovely community with pool, gym, lots of greenery and a trail. The trees around keep houses cooler during summers. The leasing office staffs are super helpful. Definitely recommend
