The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Alcove at Birkdale Village
Old, outdated bldgs with newer paint. Unscrupulous leasing agents. Never got our deposit back due to "admin error" Most positive Google reviews do not come from people who've been living there.
Ever since Alcove took over Redcliffe, everything has gone downhill. There have been no updates to the interiors, but they’re marketing these apartments as luxury to increase pricing by over 20% compared to last year. They are nothing close to luxury. Management is generally unresponsive to maintenance requests, various tenants have had to involve attorneys to get any work done. Tenants have also experienced issues with extreme mold damage, dirty water, and so on. Do your research if you want to learn more, there are plenty of reviews explaining these issues in further detail.
This was one of my first tours of my apartment search in charlotte and my leasing agent knew that (it was 10am). The tour went decently well and the complex is fairly nice and the units are nicely sized for the price range but there is no courtesy officers, no mail rooms and a lack of security measures in place. The leasing agent was very warm and seemed to care about my move until I told her I wasn't ready to reserve a unit at 10am, when I had six other tours that day, she became very cold and annoyed with any other questions I had. This agent absolutely ruined the complex for me. Also for the leasing agents, we can hear you talking about upselling us units you couldn't sell to others, complaining about people who "wasted your time", and having us wait to build the desire. all of this was said when they had me in the little waiting alcove and they went into their office
These are not luxury. They were built over 20 years ago and NOTHING has been updated on the interiors. The appliances are falling apart and THE CONNOR GROUP does not care. It will take them months to fix anything. Your rent is not what is showing. Add $200 to $250 to the bottom line. This company does not care about the residents. Please read the review on Better Business bureau before you even tour these.
