Really like this building. It is set back away from the heavy traffic of Rosslyn but everything is walk. Building is quiet and pet friendly. Staff is great!

Attentive staff and great amenities: fitness gym, dedicated business center and fantastic outdoor patio. Beautifully appointed apartments and grounds. Wonderful place to call home!

Great place to live! Super dog friendly and the maintenance and front office staff are friendly and responsive. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and safe.

I have enjoyed my residential experience as service for any maintenance or general question have been extremely helpful. I would recommend the complex to anyone looking for a safe and organized building.

Nice building and everything's been great. Only thing that sucks is there is no loading dock which makes moving in pretty awful. Otherwise everything's nice

I absolutely love living at gables 1221. I first moved in back in 2019, then I took a hiatus from 2022-part of 2023 to live in Hawaii, then signed a 13-month lease on September 22, 2023. I couldn't be more excited! From the amenities to the serenity of the building, Gables 1221 truly feels like home to me. Thank you so much to the Gables staff, too, who make the experience even more pleasant.

It’s a great building - love my apartment. Great location. However, the rent is very high for a building without upscale amenities. There is a small gym and office area with a printer, but still not as nice as other places with that price.

Overall happy living here. Wish they were more strict on certain rules. Management and maintenance is wonderful. Great location. Quiet area. Walkable to many places.

It's been a very smooth stay and the staff and everybody else have been very accessible and accommodating. The building is kept clean and the amenities though few are in excellent condition

I moved to the complex in May and have been very pleased with my experience! The apartment has been great and I have enjoyed living here. It has been quite the upgrade from my last place and do not regret my decision.

I’ve been living at the complex for a month, and so far, so good. I just wish we had been shown the actual unit before we signed the lease. When we toured we were shown the model, which had a nice view. The actual apartment doesn’t; looks out to the restaurant’s parking lot and dumpsters. Other than that, it’s a nice community.

The apartment has a nice size kitchen with plenty of storage. The shared spaces are clean. Cannot hear my neighbors next to or above me. Only place I found with double sinks that is affordable

Living here is great! I love the location and the size of the units. It’s great being close to so many restaurants and other activities in the area.

Move-in was relatively smooth. Leasing Office staff were friendly and welcoming. Only issue was water damage on the first day of move-in, but this was promptly addressed.

Great living experience here, the staff is very nice and professional, maintenance is very efficient and courteous, would definitely recommend to any future friends who are looking for apartments

Great location-outstanding maintenance team that is very responsive and helpful. Can jump on a bike and be across the river in 10 minutes if that is your thing!

It is close and convenient to DC, restaurants and stores. It is also very walkable and bike friendly. The maintenance guys are friendly and helpful.

This community is well kept. The office staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The location is peaceful and close to transportation, schools and food.

The staff are great. The amenities are just okay. There is a small gym with minimal equipment, but there is an outdoor sitting area with a fire pit and grill. The rent prices are sky rocketing here and everywhere else close by, so we are moving, but the area/location is great. I have lived here for 3 years.

Love living here. Great building management and Maintenance. Clean building. Quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to DC and metro. Walk to work.

I do not recommend this building. While nice on the outside and nice units themselves, the management team is incompetent and downright shady. They tell you one thing even if it is wrong, they won't own up to it. I was told that upon moving out the utility account would be switched back to Gables. They never did this. As a result I was charged utilities for 2.5 months, including for the new tenant's use, and they refused to reimburse me. Completely dishonest. Stay away from this place.

First of all very quiet, well insulated walls. Very responsive maintenance. I mostly ran into William, always very friendly, helpful, problem solving, responsible, and goes above and beyond to help. Other staff, Joann, Garry, and Steven are great. They handle issues very positively and efficiently. They always try to accommodate for your needs. Everything is kept clean and maintained well.

Just moved in, love Gables 12 so far! Joanne in particular has been a highlight of my move-in experience; she has helped with everything I've needed and more, absolutely wonderful so far!

Almost one year into a lease, very positive experience to this point. Maintenance team is outstanding. Very responsive and helpful. Great customer service with leasing office. With pending new lease offer, if reasonable, will determine if we renew. Overall a very pleasant living arrangement.

The location is convenient to DC. The staff are very helpful and the building and grounds are kept up nicely. The apartment is good and a place to keep our bikes out of the rain.

Leasing department couldn't be better. Complex is clean and homey. All appliances and utilities are well above satisfactory. So glad I found this apartment complex. Gables is #1.

The maintenance team is amazing and the front desk staff is extremely helpful and responsive. The area is quite safe and relatively quiet. The dogs in the building are a bonus!

Nice place.great location. Pet fee is $500, and it is not a deposit. The fitness center has the bare minimum. It’s not worth the current spike in rent prices.

I've been living at Gables for almost a month now and love it! My apartment is beautiful, spacious and clean. The leasing manager, Joanne, has been so helpful with anything I've needed and a pleasure! Maintenance has also been super fast to respond to each request and are extremely nice. I love the location because it feels like it's in a more private area, and off the main roads, but also really close to anything I need and even in walking distance from many places.

Good community with little noise and great location. The side patio is a great perk to the building. Close to town but still quiet. Overall a good place

The apartments are nice. They're also quiet inside and on a quiet street. Maintenance fixes things quickly, and the front office staff are the best!

Our overall experience has been positive. The people who work here are friendly and responsive and they keep all the common areas clean and nice.

My experience has generally been very good. I have experienced mostly good maintenance service, the facilities are mostly clean and managed, and I enjoy living here.

The management is good, very accommodating. The maintenance is an ideal, and the management does their best to provide the best service. The rooms are clean and spacious with a good layout. The area is nice as well.

It's like a hidden gem community for me. The only thing honestly I don't like the pricing/quote system changing every day and the admin fee nonreturn $600 bucks but I thought it worth it. The community itself, location, etc look perfect for me.

Very incompetent staff. They allow contractors to leave garage doors open for days. This lead to a theft of around 20 bikes that were locked up in the parking garage bike rack. Even with insurance I was unable to receive the full value of my bike returned. The contractors are still leaving the doors open and unlocked, and when this is brought to the management's attention, they do nothing about it and are apathetic. Do not move here if you value your property.

Management is unprofessional and very unhelpful. Not worth it.
