Located about 10 miles northeast of Downtown Dallas, Vickery is a diverse neighborhood overflowing with shopping, dining, and entertainment options. I recently had an unfortunate experience with Meadows Crossing ("The Ace"). I moved out of their premises last year, and despite my efforts to maintain a positive relationship, I was disappointed by their handling of the move-out process. Firstly, I was taken aback when I received a notice from collections regarding an outstanding amount related to my move-out. What disappointed me the most was the lack of communication from the property manager and his employer, Velo residential. I firmly believe that as a tenant, I should have been notified and given an opportunity to address any issues before matters escalated to collections. One single email is not enough. Furthermore, the move-out summary provided by the property included charges that I believe were unjustified. It seems I was held responsible for their oversight in collecting utility payments, which I find unreasonable. Additionally, the manager's failure to personally reach out to me and instead resorting to sending the matter directly to collections reflects poorly on their professionalism and the management practices of the property. While I understand that mistakes happen, I expected better from them after living there for 3 years and never being late on rent. Unfortunately, my experience has left me with a negative impression of their customer service and management approach. I hope my feedback serves as a constructive reminder for Meadows Crossing ("The Ace") to improve their communication channels and handle similar situations with more care and transparency in the future.

If I could I’d give NO stars. I’ve been here for 3 weeks and absolutely hate it. The staff had been horrible and my experience hasn’t been pleasant at all. They tried to love me in a unit that was not ready, workers were still paining and it was dusty and dirty and that was on move in day. They provided me another unit but that one too was not ready but not as bad and I had no other options. My AC leaks in my bathroom and they say that it’s supposed to, that all units do that and maintenance has been here 3 times to fix a leak under the sink. It’s a complex that’s paints over their issues while showing you a freshly remodeled unit to cat fish you. I regret moving in and can’t wait for my contract to end in a year. Don’t move here.
This place used to be great before the new management moved in. They along with the company they work for, Velo Residential LLC, are just money hungry and do not care about quality or taking care of their residents. You will become just another number to them. They will try everything and anything to surcharge you once you sign and disregard any complaint or request you make. They don’t even have the decency to pick up the phone for maintenance requests. All must be submitted through the portal, however the portal leaves more to be desired and lacks accessibility for non-English speakers. They are also not immediate, if you were to have water overflow emergency, good luck. Their phone lines are only open to potential new tenants. You should find a better place with more amenities just across the freeway for less and will treat you way better as a tenant.
I lived here for over 5 years under the old management, but the new management is so greedy, and ignorant. they don't care about resident.
Sinceramente les daría 0 estrellas tuve una muy mala experiencia, yo me cambié ahí porque los remodelaron! Pero realmente no están bien trabajados, el piso se desprende, la pintura de la tina del baño también, un montón de cucarachas, huele bastante a Marihuana. Aparte de que me están cobrando 2600 por una cancelación de contrato por cuestiones de emergencia… y todavía nisiquiera contestan llamadas y si las contestan el manager súper desposta de verdad pésima servicio.
the upgrades on the property are top notched. the new management company is extremely profetional and attentative. i would definetly recommend.
