Resting along the Salt River, Tempe’s major claim to fame is the main campus of Arizona State University. The management here used to be bad until they got a new one and now it’s even worse. The maintenance team is AWFUL. I waited 4 MONTHS for a dishwasher, the apartments are leaky to this day from a storm that happened over a month ago. The pool, gym, and dog park have been shut down for weeks (no amenities for weeks, pool and gym been closed for over a month). I’ve lived here for over a year and do not have closet doors (that they claimed had been ordered when I moved in)They have roaches in the apartments and the gym (they do pay for pest control which helps). The neighbors always are bumping music so it’s never quiet. Overpriced for the extreme lack of amenities, maintenance, and quality of apartments

Useless staff. All the staff cares about is putting money into their pockets, they can’t even answer the simplest of questions and not to mention how rude they are considering they don’t know what they’re talking about. Stay away from these apartments, read the reviews.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. These apartments are infested with roaches. We lived here almost a year and it’s been miserable. They have made our 1 bathroom unusable, and we find them in the kitchen and all over our clean dishes. The manager does nothing to fix the infestation, and doesn’t appear to even care. I can’t wait till our lease ends and we can move out I wouldn’t recommend Talavera to anyone.

Me and my husband have lived here for three years and it has been nothing but a great experience! We have never had any pest control issues or issues with the staff. Ciandra the manager has always been nice, considerate and friendly.

Roach infestation. All I will say!! They do nothing about it. They simply do not care. Broken main stairs. Tell office, 1 week no resolve. Maintenance is awful. Please do not get entangled with this place. You will regret it everyday you live here. Manager is rude and condescending. She would rather argue then help.

Cockroaches everywhere. I’ve lived in a few apartments and never had this problem before. Pest control tech admits it’s a problem here. Maintenance takes forever if they respond at all. I’m still awaiting repairs for requests i put in almost five months ago. I’ve lived in complexes with double the units and never had to wait like this for maintenance repairs. I’m talking big item repairs. They will respond to reviews to make themselves sound nice but they never follow up if you email or call them directly.

Luxurious living for the cockroaches that are rampant here. Seriously, I have never had bug issues in my five years living in Arizona and I had to get pest control three times in the year I lived in this nightmare. Next, we didn’t have air conditioning for TWO MONTHS despite filing requests in person, in writing, online, and over the phone. TWO MONTHS without AC in Arizona. On no less than four separate occasions we were told maintenance was coming to fix one of our many issues and we needed to stay home to put the dogs up, only for maintenance to never show up and we waited around for nothing. Maintenance also had a habit of making issues worse. When we moved in our towel rack was just on the ground so we asked to have it fixed and it was placed on the other side of the bathroom but the two holes left behind were never patched. When our bedroom door didn’t lock correctly maintenance made it so that it didn’t shut at all and we ended up fixing it ourselves with cardboard. Every time we had an issue we were told “someone will get back to you” and we’d end up having to go to the office because no one ever would. They kept trying to say we had “unpaid charges” but could never explain what those charges were. They didn’t prorate our final month so they told us to just pay the prorated amount, e did so and they didn’t give us the full amount of our refund because of mysterious “unpaid charges” and they never sent an itemized list of our deductions. Seriously living here was a nightmare and the great location could never in a million years make that worth it. Management changed three times in one year but nothing ever improved. STAY AWAY!!!!
