home sweet apartment

Believe it or not I've lived in the same apartment since 1967. I was 14 and lived with my Mom and grandparents. I have it all to myself now,well me and Paris my Angora cat, and I can't see myself living anywhere else. I have a lovely view of Manhattan and can see the Fourth of July fireworks and the New Year's fireworks as well. I have wonderful neighbors in the building as well as a pair of coockoo birds in the apartment below me. It wouldn't be a New York apartment building without the resident complainers. A nice cross breeze makes up for no overhead lights in the living room (go figure!). Long narrow kitchen makes it easy to reach everything. But some of the best features are the elevator, a basement laundry room, a basement ramp (no lunging heavy stuff up any stairs), and a garage for my car!!!! There's a big, clean supermarket a quarter block away and the #7 train is less than 2 blocks away. Life is good!!! Love my home sweet apartment!!!!
