South Salt Lake City, the self-proclaimed “City on the Move” is a charming neighborhood known for its abundant commuters who travel into the greater Salt Lake area. Because South Salt Lake City sits only about five miles south of the heart of Salt Lake City’s booming downtown district, many people choose to rent in this neighborhood and commute downtown for work or leisure. Complete with its own version of Chinatown and some upscale sushi restaurants, South Salt Lake City has become a steadily growing community in the city. Because public transportation makes it simple to get around and apartment rental prices are lower than in downtown, South Salt Lake City is becoming more and more appealing to renters.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Sun River Apartments
So I lived at sun river for over 1 year and it was pretty good. I lived in a loft the price was good for the 1 bed apartment. Maintenence was very quick about fixing my clogged sink.I spent the whole summer at the pool. The thing I loved there is that there were hardly animals. The only thing that I didn't like was parking during the weekend it was full after 6 pm. In the mornings I would see maintenance outside cleaning . The nice office lady's helped me when I gave my notice to move out .About a month after I moved out i did get most of my deposit back.
they will keep money from your security deposit no matter what, even though they write on the contract that you can be refunded in full. be careful what you sign for
I usually don't write any reviews but I thought to myself what the heck this place deserves one. I have lived her for about a year now and I truly love my stay here. I agree, the interior is not upgraded but let me tell you how clean and well kept it was when I moved in, and still is. The grounds are my absolute favorite. My lease will end in a couple of months and I will be moving out but that is only because I am being transferred jobs. Otherwise I would renew my lease with a heartbeat. The staff is so wonderful, they're always super sweet to me and they do help me with my needs. I was surprised to read the above review. I am honestly writing this review to simply say, thank you.
I am regrettably a current resident and fully intend to move once my lease is up. the apartment is not in great shape but you get what you pay for, what upsets me the most is the office staff whom are always nasty, ornery and NEVER willing to work with you on anything. i work a steady 9-5 in downtown and fighting traffic to get here by the time they close is impossible so if i have a package dropped off, issue to discuss or whatever the case may be they aren't available. i've always paid my rent early and maintained my living space yet they still treat me like trash and i'm sick of it!
Dirty and not well maintained. Several apartments had problems with bed bugs and office tried to get tenants to pay for treatments.
These people never answered their phone or responded to my emails when I was apartment hunting. If they can't be bothered to communicate with potential renters then they don't need my business.
Lived in the Loft for 2yrs. Prices are reasonable for a Loft. Style of loft reminded me of a townhouse. The Loft I lived in did not have Central Air-conditioning, although I heard other regular apartments did. Laundry Facilities always filthy & Excersice equipment always broken, never wed attended to. The Maintenance Crew always professional & addressed you by name when seeing you on property. Work orders finished in a timely manor. Office Staff friendly & addressed your needs. Saves money to live.
Do not rent here!!! Everything is terrible here. The office staff is always angry and does not want to help you with anything.
this place is great looks nice every one is really nice here.
