The city of North Chesterfield is one to be admired. It’s a sprawling area near Richmond, VA, and has quite a bit of shopping, restaurants, and park space to go around.
Residents renting an apartment in North Chesterfield enjoy its numerous retail opportunities. Stony Point Fashion Park is an upscale outdoor mall featuring retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue, Banana Republic, and Sur La Table. Property Ratings at Summit at Bon Air
The gate is always open and the pool’s been closed two, technically three times this summer. The first one was less than a week after it opened. The next two times was for a day last week and all this week, respectively. We’ve been getting emails every day that the pool is still closed, but not until after noon; today it was after 2pm. I pay for the gate to be closed at night and the pool to be open during the day. The property is under new management, but these issues are not new or unique to current management. An “incident” occurred at the pool earlier this summer that prompted management to reduce pool hours for everyone. They then held the pool hostage until “the majority” of residents returned their old key fob in exchange for the new one, in order for the pool to re-open at regular hours.
This place has gone down the drain in the last few years. Had a horrible experience here. It was so bad I broke my lease. Had a downstairs apartment. The neighbors upstairs had children that ran and screamed at all hours day or night. The ceiling sounded like it was going to cave in. It was embarrassing to have any sort of company so I just didn't invite anyone over. Constant maintenance issues that were never fixed properly, just put a band-aid on it basically. Staff did nothing to help with the noise. Flooding issues, which the staff failed to mention to me when I applied. The parking lot is filled with potholes. And don't have your patio door open for fresh air because you won't get it. You'll have a neighbor or someone standing by your door smoking. Absolutely do NOT move to this complex. It needs to be condemned in my opinion.
Maria was awesome to work with! She was very friendly and helpful. She worked with us every step of the way to ensure we had an smooth move! We moved into a renovated apartment and it looks amazing! The neighborhood seems very quiet and well maintained! So happy we made the move!

Ive been living in this community for about a year and a half. Considering the age of the apartments the property is kept up pretty good. I like the location and its not bad for what you pay for rent.

I enjoy living at Summit at Bon Air. Its in a convenient area, close to shopping. The amenities are good. I cannot wait until COVID is over so that I can access the gym without making an appointment. Maintenance is always available to assist with any issues. Other than that, no worries.
I think the trash pick up is now a joke bc people dont follow the rules so I pay for trash and yet my hallway always has trash
Its in a great area so many grocery stores and gas stations, restaurants around within walking distance and not a far drive. The mall is close by.

Summit at Bon Air is a great community. Well kept grounds, clean common areas and the apartment is wonderful with modern appliances. I find the staff to be helpful, courteous and friendly.

So far we are extremely satisfied with our new home. The layout and space is perfect. I love the beautiful treeline view that runs the entire length of the home. Its is a very peaceful and serene place to be. The ambient natural lighting in the master bedroom is amazing. The customer service has been outstanding so far. I like that the office answers when i call and the maintainace team is fast acting. Not to mention the location is great, surrounded by parks, shopping, and great scenery. Overall, i am glad we found and chose Summit at Bon Air.
None. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Place is too drafty,and smells of mold. Can never get rid of sinus infections.
Maintenance has always done an excellent job. I enjoy living here and especially enjoy walking in the grass.
Hands down the WORST apartment complex I've ever lived in. Loud neighbors, chipped/peeling paint on all the doors and walls, terrible staff, moldy vents, deep pot holes by all the parking spaces......

I was disappointed after I was charged a fee for my rent payment . I realized I used the wring acct and paid it from the correct acct by the 5th but was still charged the $50 fee.
