The community is great! Everyone seems to be so friendly! There are a lot of things to do around here and everything is so close by making it very convenient!
The leasing office staff was great. My experience has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment I went on a tour to the time I decided to move in, the experience has been great.
I enjoy the peace of the location and the leasing agents are great. The neighbors are kind. I had to neighbors help me when I was struggling to bring up some packages. I enjoy living here.
The entire team was of great help to my son as he moved in. Clarence and Sergio were both very helpful and listened to my concerns and worked to make his move smooth and without a hitch!
Everyone in the leasing office was very helpful during our move in and make it a very easy transition. Maintenance was very helpful as well when we had a small minor hiccup!
When I moved in under the original management, the property was clean, well-maintained, and run by a professional, responsive team that hosted monthly events and cared about residents. Since new management took over, the quality has dropped sharply—trash pickup is inconsistent, the pool and grills are dirty, pests are increasing despite monthly pest control fees, and hidden charges appear without explanation. Management is rude, unresponsive, and provides little communication beyond frequent rent reminders. Rules aren’t enforced, cleanliness has declined, and services we pay for are unreliable. Great location, but poor management is making it more of a burden than a benefit. Walls are very thin. Neighbors above makes so much noise daily resting has become a task do to the consistency of unnecessary noise.
I recently moved in here. Great location, quiet community. The leasing staffs, management and maintenance team have been really helpful. Happy so far!
Everything went well, and I didn’t have major issue, except for one thing. I’m currently living under a unit where the resident has a dog, and unfortunately, that has made things a bit difficult. Almost every morning around 6 AM or even earlier, I can hear the dog running back and forth. Since I’m a light sleeper, this wakes me up and makes it hard to get proper rest. The noise is very noticeable, sometimes it even feels like the whole apartment is shaking. This daily disturbance has made my living experience less comfortable than I had hoped.
We moved to Story last week and so far everything is great!! It is clean and a safe community. Amenities are also great! Staff is friendly and always willing to help!
The experience is amazing. The only problem I have is that I can hear somebody walking upstairs. Additionally, the trash bin is a little far from where I live. Other than that, it is perfect; the staff are great, and the amenities are good.

Clean, modern apartments in a quiet and well-kept community. The staff is super helpful and maintenance responds quickly. Some minor construction flaws however not that noticeable, but overall a solid place to live near UNC Charlotte.
I haven't officially moved in yet, however, after my visit Story University North seems to be the perfect fit for me. Moving from a different country over to the United States, Charlotte more specifically, is not an easy task and finding a place where I can feel like home is very important. I was very impressed with everything Story University North had to offer and I'm really excited to move in later this month!
It’s been great so far! Move in was super easy and simple and the amenities have been awesome! The apartment was in great shape and was extremely clean when I moved in. I have no complaints so far!
Moved in a week ago, still have many months to go but so far so good. I work on my computer a lot so the feature of the workstation in the club are a plus and I also workout a lot so the feature of the gym is a plus too.
Very clean and modern apartment. The valet trash is nice and the pool resembles a hotel or resort. The lobby is very nice and the workers are friendly

Nyasha took me on the first tour, so she’ll always be special but the entire team at Story is amazing. Every detail matters to this team — from property manager to maintenance — and they handle it all professionally and with a smile!
My resident experience in the community has been great so far. I've enjoyed meeting a few of my neighbors during evening walks around the neighborhood, which has helped me feel more connected. I would give my experience a 5-star rating; however, I’ve had some issues with noise from the residents living above me. I understand that some noise is expected in apartment living, but this has been excessive and affects the overall comfort of my home.
My move in experience was very smooth! The staff at Story are amazing and really made me feel at home! They answered all of my questions and concerns throughout the whole moving process.
Story is a beautiful, brand new community. My favorite amenities are the HUGE walk-in closets & dog spa. The staff here have been super helpful in making this move smooth as possible. I’m looking forward to living here this year!
It was a great move in. Everyone has been very nice and the area has been great to live in. We still have a little more to explore but so far it has been great. Looking forward to the rest of our experience here.
i love it here! i love how peaceful and relaxing it is and how the apartment complex is in the cut. staffing people are very helpful and sweet. maintenance was quick to help what i needed to get done.
My experience at Story University North so far has been amazing. From day one (when I toured in March to moving in in May), Julia has been super helpful and responsive. Leontty, maintenance support, was even kind enough to help me carry some things up while moving in. Small but mighty staff! I love that it’s quiet here and feels very safe. Beautiful property as well.
The staff was exceptional, making the moving-in process seamless and efficient. Relocating to Story University has truly been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I can hardly wait to explore all the amazing amenities that await me here.
