Property Ratings at Story Sanford
I normally don’t leave reviews, but after months of ongoing issues at Story of Sanford , I feel future residents should be aware of what they may experience. Since April 2025, my family and I have been dealing with constant, excessive noise from our upstairs neighbors — loud stomping, banging, and late-night disturbances that make it nearly impossible to rest peacefully. We immediately reported the issue to management, who acknowledged the problem and gave us a timeframe for resolution. Unfortunately, that date passed with no action taken. Not only has the noise continued, but it has actually become worse after we started making complaints. We have provided repeated documentation and followed all procedures, yet the response from management has now essentially been to “suck it up.” This is not the level of professionalism or tenant care you should expect from an apartment community. What makes this especially frustrating is that tenants have a legal right to quiet enjoyment of their home. The lack of enforcement or willingness to hold problem tenants accountable reflects poorly on management and the overall living environment here. If you are considering moving in, I strongly recommend asking very direct questions about how noise complaints are handled and how responsive management actually is once you’ve signed a lease. Our experience has been months of frustration, broken promises, and no meaningful resolution. Until management takes resident concerns seriously and addresses legitimate quality-of-life issues, I cannot recommend Story of Sanford to anyone looking for a peaceful and professionally managed place to live

Every person we've worked with in the leasing office has been so nice and goes out of their way to help us! After comparing so many apartments in the area, Story had the best price per square foot... we don't even know how to fill all this space! It is so quiet and peaceful here especially with the fountains in the pool and lake. The gym has all the equipment we need and is clean. Plus being across the street from ALL our fave restaurants is amazing. So excited to begin the next chapter of our *story* here :)
This place truly shines inside and out. The staff genuinely cares about tenants, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish. My wife and I have zero regrets about moving here and can't stop raving about how fantastic it is!
For an incredible apartment complex experience, Story Sanford is the place to be. The staff goes above and beyond, taking the time to know you personally rather than just handling business. And shoutout to the maintenance team, Izzy & Felix, who are always reliable and never make you feel like a bother.
Staff is always willing to assist, genuinely friendly. The Story Sanford team is hands on with our community. Initiate weekly events for all. We are Empty Nesters and enjoy the community. Apartment is brand new, pool is refreshing and well maintained. We have valet trash removal which is great because we are always on the go. Walking trail, duck pond. And conveniently close to the shops. In short I enjoy living here.
