Property Ratings at StoneHaven Apartment Homes
The complex is quiet and conveniently located. Unfortunately that’s the extent of positive things I am able to say. The hot tub is green and unusable and has been the duration of the time we’ve lived here. The water fountain for the pool is hanging off the wall and being used as cigarette ash tray and has been since we moved in. The corridors are grimy, dusty and full of litter and have not been power washed or cleaned in any way for the duration of the time we’ve lived here. The “cabanas” by the pool have no covers on them so they are just metal frames offering no shade (… and haven’t the entire time we’ve been here). The trash compactor has been out of order for almost two weeks now so the back corner of our parking lot has trash overflowing and old furniture stacking up. Work orders do not get completed. Management does nothing to alleviate concerns when they are brought up. It is not cheap to live here. Prices are comparable to newer complexes across NB. It is so very frustrating and disheartening to be a resident here when management clearly doesn’t care about the satisfaction of their residents or the state of the property.

Poop bags never replaced. poop receptacles never emptied. Grass not kept mowed. I didn't ever show any vaccination proof for my 2 pets. Paint splattered on surrounding floors, walls, door frame and bathroom tile. Would not recommend to any pet owner or non-pet owner!
This apartment is great for people with pets. No one else. We moved in 2 weeks ago and I have vacuumed 20+ times no exaggeration. The pervious tenant never vacuumed. They had a white dog and a black/gray dog I can see the two different types of hair. I have shampooed 5 times and I’m still getting hair clogs and BLACK water. They never dusted and there stove was still gross. I’ve mopped 8 times and I’m getting yellow stains up. If I could move out today I would. There’s also over spray on the floor, carpets Mirrors. They did a crappy paint job. This is also after the office came and “cleaned” knowing we had children.
I just moved in during January. The first week the AC broke, they claimed they fixed it. A once in a lifetime storm in Texas provided on/off power for 3 days, and shut off the water. It’s been NINE DAYS now and still NO water. They claim they are working on it, yet every single time I walk around the complex with my dogs I see exactly ZERO work happening. They’ve also told residents in building 2 (my building) we will be last to get water restored because we are lowest on the priority list as all the apartments are one bedrooms. Housing authority, local media and attorneys have been contacted. Also my “fixed” AC is on the fritz again, been 76 degrees inside my apartment the last 2 days I’ve come home from work. If I were you I’d look to paying a little bit extra and moving somewhere else.
This is not a luxury apartment complex, it is very basic and comfortable. I had no issues with my apartment whatsoever upon moving in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking lot has plenty of space. Patio is very spacious. Everything seemed pretty good my first week in here. Then THE ROACHES CAME. AND THEY ARE HUGE. They make it in the cupboards and cabinets, they come from behind the stove, in the stove. I have not seen any in the bathroom, living room or bedroom thank GOD. But it is still disgusting to have a kitchen INFESTED with roaches!!!!!!!! I pay a monthly pest fee for what?????? THE ROACHES STILL COME OUT. Its raising my anxiety and blood pressure. The office ignores maintenance request regarding pest control. I wish I could get out of my lease. BEWARE.
Just signed my 3rd lease, very happy here, close to Fischer Park, everything is well maintained and office staff and maintenance is very easy to with and even responded to a problem i had at my apartment at 3AM and took care of it
The maintenance and front office staff are incredible! Always prompt with requests and very friendly. Spacious apartments and great quality for your dollar. Pet friendly with a lovely dog park and waste disposal stations throughout complex.
I've lived here for 3 years now and the latest owners have really done a great job of upgrading the apartments to make them more family friendly. I love the dog park and having a nice greenspace to play outside with my son. Maintenance handles issues quickly and the office staff is friendly.
I love living at Stonehaven! Great amenities, great location and great staff. I have lived here almost two years and love it! I have had very few issues with anything!
This is the best place to call home! The staff here is very friendly and they do everything they can to help you! Maintenance is very quick, and the prices here are impossible to beat! I’ve lived here for 2 years and loved every second of it! When our roommate left, the ladies at the office helped us every step of the way! Samantha at the front has been there for us since day one! We even talked our friends into moving here we loved it so much! Don’t even get me started on the community! This is THE place to live!
The Staff at Stonehaven has always been very professional and sweet. They are very nice to my kids and seem to really make a point of knowing their residents. Any Maintenance issues were quickly addressed and could easily be done while we were not available which is great since me and my husband both work during the day. These Apartments are so close to Walmart and HEB which makes it great for grocery shopping, As well as in very close distance to Fisher park. There are also Many sidewalks and walking trails nearby as well. The grass and landscaping have always been kept up and nice and offers a nice area for animals to walk and or children to play. We have never had an issue with safety concerns its a very nice apartment complex and the people all seem to be very nice. I would most definitely recommend this complex to anyone. The quietness is great for older couples and or single people and its also great for kids and families.
Gotta admit not a big reviewer. First ever apartment and I was picky about it for sure. Neighbors are very quiet, and respectable. Watched someone love packages on their door step for a solid week and no one stole them so hey there's a plus! You can have everything sent to the office, ask maintenance for tools and most requests take a day or two before they get handled. That all depends on how urgent you place the request. Overall this is a very lovely place to live.
Great community, quiet and clean. Staff are amazing, they work with you on financially to be able to move in quickly. Need some maintenance done, it will be completed in less then 24hours per request! Amazing!

The office and maintenance staff have really made living here a great experience! My little family lives our new home! It is also a very pet and kid friendly complex!!! I would definitely recommend living here!
The staff is amazing and so supportive and responsive. They are always willing to help in any way they can. The grounds are kept so clean and maintenance is on top of any issues with the apartment. The complex is in a great neighborhood which is close to all the conveniences like schools, parks, stores, and just a couple miles from I35 for commuting to work. So glad I found this place! Thanks for being so awesome guys!
We have lived here since last July and we do enjoy it for the most part. The only thing that I would caution prospective renters about is the constant noise. It seems like this complex would be quiet because it is in the middle of a suburban neighborhood. However, the street it's on is adjacent to a street with 3(!!) elementary schools on it, one of which is pretty much right next to the complex itself. During the day, there is constant noise from the kids outside during recess. Also, the entire time we've lived here, we have lived underneath a family with extremely loud kids who stomp around during all hours of the day and night. We also live right next to the dumpster which makes noise around 9 pm at night. Of course I don't expect my surroundings to always be silent but the level of noise considering where this apartment is located is a little much for my tastes. I would recommend living on the third floor if you move here so you don't have to be underneath anybody (or at the very least not living in building 7 which is right next to the dumpster and elementary school). Other than that, Stonehaven has been pleasant. All of the staff are very friendly and the property itself is maintained very well. The staff made sure that our leasing process went very smoothly and laid out everything in our lease in detail for us, which we appreciated. I would recommend living here, but would just caution against it for anyone who might mind a lot of noise from kids.
This is a great community. My family has been here for almost three years, and we have been very happy here. The staff have been amazing. They respond to any issues, and they make sure residents are taken care of and happy. Maintenance staff is great and super responsive. Would recommend this place. Great location and very nice apartments on beautiful grounds.
Lived here 3 years now, cant call them new but the management that is here has updated the place and have excellent customer service. Property is clean, maintenance comes to take care of your repairs same day and issues I had at other places like water being off and bugs are never a problem here. I am happy here and for what I pay its worth every penny -happy resident.
I have lived here for 4 years now and management changes constantly and it always got worst and worst. The new management that is here has been a BLESSING! They are always in the office and have told us about some changes around here that I am excited about. The maintenance is back and he was the best maintenance this place ever had and I am happy to see they brought him back he is a hard worker and always says hi to all of the residents. The new office staff is AWESOME I see the manager showing apartments on the weekends and with a full office she always says hi to everyone walking in and never makes me feel like I'm bugging her (I like to address issues right away) and she is always nice. The other girls I am not sure if they are the new staff but so far they have been great and I have no complaints. I cant wait to see what good is to come. Happy camper!
Set an appointment and they had.No apts for us to look at. Also the guy that was supposed to take care of us tried to get us into a bigger apartment said it was cheaper which it wasn't there they have $20 worth of fees every month that you get. It is not what they advertised. Also the security deposit was variable according to your credit score and could be as much as a full months rent. Also the lease agreement was 14 months and also not negotiable! To say the least they wasted my Saturday morning, The advertisement was totally different then the reality.

Crickets are inside my apartment!! They are falling on top of us & it is so gross! They are getting inside through other areas as well such as the plumbing, light fixtures, and cracks & crevices from the front door & patio door. My son is starting to have nightmares that crickets are crawling over him. Neither of us have been getting any sleep. The chirping is non-stop. This is a complete nightmare. We are killing up to 30 crickets inside each day!! We are finding them on top of our beds, kitchen countertops, pantries, closets, on curtains, in bathroom...everywhere!!! This is beyond disgusting, unsanitary & gross! I am extremely displeased with the way management is handling this cricket infestation. They charge a fee each month for pest control so I am tired of hearing excuses that this cannot be controlled. Just a month ago, we were dealing with seeing rats all over the complex! They were leaving their droppings all over the breezeways and patios. Now its crickets! Get it together management!!! You want tenants or not!!?!!?
I stayed with my sister a few nights there and i woke up every night covered in fleas. They require you to pay a fee for pest control and yet the entire grounds were covered in fleas for over a month. The management is absolutely rude and has no respect. I would never recommend this apartment to complex to anyone.
The worst management I've encountered. Grounds are nice, BUT that does not make up for the terrible service you get from management. Problems are not addressed and the rent isn't worth it. Keep shopping if you expect to not have the same problems over and over and over again. Certified repair people does not mean competent and "nice" management doesn't mean they actually give 2 cents about your issues.
To say we were disappointed in Waterford Place is an enormous understatement. Upon first look, the outside was not well maintained and wasn't located in a great location. As we arrived for our pre-scheduled appointment, we were greeted by an individual who was not a leasing agent and who said all leasing agents had left for the day, despite knowing full well about our appointment. She tried texting and calling the leasing agents, however no one answered or returned her calls/texts. We left because she could not show us the apartments herself. We were never contacted by a leasing agent again. Not an apology or to try to get us to return. Quite frankly, the leasing agents should be going above and beyond to get new residents, as the place was pretty dumpy and far too expensive for the quality. I would never give my money to such poor customer service. There are much better places to live.

It is a nice apartment. But since it's so expensive I gave it 4 stars. Expensive, but good. It's a hassle climbing up and down the 3 flights of stairs for a 60 year old man but at least I get a good work out (also I wish they made groceries lighter) . I like the apartment complex in general because it's quiet and peaceful (if you don't count my 3 kids) I don't agree however, to the added charge for trash pickup because the utility company is also charging me for the same service. I do wish there were more parking spaces but It is what is. But it does have a nice pool I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
