The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Stone Arch I
Clean environment, friendly staff and neighbors, nice and quiet area.
We've had a string of bad neighbors that we've had to call the police on, multiple times. So, we don't always feel safe. Otherwise, its great.
I love the maintenance staff. They went above and beyond. I have never experienced more friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I would recommend it for most things, just not for the parking, smokers in the building (smell of cigarettes and weed), and robberies. I had 4 bikes stolen and nothing was done about it. No cameras added. Two of those bikes were stolen from inside the underground parking garage. And in one of those instances my bike lock wasn't cut, the actual bike rack was cut in order for the robbers to steal my bike.
It's a great place to live if you can afford it.
Warm and affordable. Great design that my guests love. However, the common laundry rooms with dog fur in the machines are always a minus. Trashshute room stinks and sometimes I find silverfish bugs in the room since my room is right next to the trash room. Love the windows though and parking and the dishwasher. The fire alarm sound is way too loud. I don't have pets but I think it must be super stressful for them. Especially if they are alone inside. Also, if you leave stuff at the garage, someone will take it.
Mary and the rest of the maintenance staff are absolutely a breath of fresh air to work with, most of the office staff as well, but the new tenants we're getting in don't seem to respect the property at all, and they don't keep shared living spaces clean, a lot has changed at Stone Arch in the 5 years I've lived here
The community is getting better in the area, but Stone Arch apartments is really getting worse since I have been living there in the last 4 years.
I would if I based it just on my interactions with maintenance. They are friendly and know what they are doing.
Amazing location but a little outdated if residents are looking for a luxury apartment.
I would recommend because it's a great place, people and beautiful area.
Again, the management has been bad lately. I am not sure why. It looks like they do not want to make enough effort to solve the issues in the building.
Great location, modern and comfortable apartments, quality of service by staff.
Maintenance is always quick and gets things taken care of in record time
It's in a great location, easy to walk to a number of desirable things. The apartments wood floors and high ceilings are great. I also love living on the ground floor, the patio is great and it's easy access to take my dog out.
YES
The carpert is stained in my hall, the washers smell like mildew and the windows in my unit need to be washed
Great location. Amenities were good. It seems there is no limitation on dog size. Plus, there was a random guest walking around the building we toured. We have decided not to lease here. Looking for in-unit laundry. Thanks!
because it is quiet, clean, and in the best location in the twin cities for Downtown value.
The building is in a great neighborhood and is mostly very nice. I have noticed some decline in the 8 years that I have lived here with keeping parts of the building as clean as it used to be and enforcement of rules, such as no disposable of large items, breaking down boxes for recycling, nothing to be kept outside of the apartment (floor mats, shoes, etc.).
I would recommend this building to people at the Section 42 rate, but not market rate, mostly because of the noise level and being so aware of neighbors, but also because of small things that don't make this building feel very 'luxury', like people smoking in the parking garage and stair wells, people who dump things places and leasing never bother to get it out, (even after complaints) etc.
Amazing location, but fairly out dated apartment. However, the rent is lower than the newer, nicer apartments in the area so I understand you get what you pay for
Location is ideal, no major problems with management (though some surprise charges on bill with short notice and no written notification). Convenient online payment, prompt maintenance. Cons--sound and light pollution from neighbors, not enough storage units in same building as unit, not much of a gym, no place to host a larger gathering.
It's a great location and a good place to live. As it gets older and new buildings open in the neighborhood, I feel like we don't have quite as much to offer as some of the other properties.
Bottom line: Not worth the money. Great location, decent facility, but management is AWFUL to deal with. Examples of issues I had, which were not resolved satisfactorily: rodent issues, insect infestation, internet and cable (set up by SAA) suddenly being cut off due to SAA's dispute with the provider, water leaking under my door from the attached garage, and getting stuck in said garage for nearly an hour because door broke and no one would respond to our calls. Maintenance team was very friendly but very clearly overworked. I also incurred a number of bills due to issues thay were directly caused by SAA, but they refused to reimburse me. After 18 months, I'd had enough and moved out. Good riddance.
Perfect location right across from the Stone Arch Bridge on St. Anthony Main. It's across the river from downtown which makes it a little more quiet than living downtown.
Stone Arch is a helpful property, they listen to your problems and help work with you to solve them. However, they don't always respond in a timely manner, they were supposed to have maintenance fix a problem in my apartment 2 months ago and I haven't heard anything from them since. They also sometimes forget to respond to requests and you have to go down to the office multiple times to get things taken care of.
The Stone Arch Apartments are situated near downtown Minneapolis. They are right on the river, and steps away from the historical Stone Arch Bridge. There is a park right across the street, and restaurants, a movie theater, and SO much more just down the street! On Saturdays I like to walk across the bridge to enjoy the Mill City farmers market next to the Guthrie theater, in the shadow of the new Vikings Stadium. The area is incredibly safe, and I always feel at peace there. The staff at Stone Arch are THE BOMB! The maintenance staff almost ALWAYS respond to and take care of issues the same day. The residents are quiet and friendly. An incredible place to live!
My family has lived in a two bedroom apartment the last five years. It's been wonderful. Really clean. Modern feel. Great location. Dog friendly. Really nice office staff. Very personable.
While living here I worked in the southern suburbs. It was an easy commute with amazing access to all major highways. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff with beyond affordable living. I would love to sign another lease here even after having lived in several other places (lease was from 2012-2013). Can't beat being within walking distance of all of minneapolis' great amenities, plus everything that comes with your rent at stone arch! Truly amazing.
