Update 4/7/24: I just renewed my lease for the 6th year and for good reasons! I am a very clean and picky person, so annually I inquire w/other complexes & compare. Whether it be market price or amenities, I end up staying because St Croix, being a smaller complex offers nice size units & certain amenities indoor/outdoor that you are NOT going to get or will have to pay extra for elsewhere (ie: water, fireplace, W/D, balcony). It is nicely maintained & quiet. Location is GREAT & convenient! We are in the middle of everything everywhere! My experience here thus far, has been very pleasant. I have not had any problems with neighbors, in fact most of us here keep to ourselves. We have a lot of military too. I have not had any issue w/management & when maintenance was required, it was resolved in a timely manner. Keeping it real, anywhere you go you will have tenant(s) that may not comply, but management here will resolve/enforce. As tenants we should be diligent in continuing to keep our small community safe, clean, peaceful & enjoy coming home to!

St Croix apartments is a very nice place to live and close to everything for your daily life. Office staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests with my two senior dogs. I would highly recommend this place if you want to feel like home.

While moving is never easy, or fun, the staff at St. Croix are very helpful. We were in a crunch finding an apartment for our daughter returning from Richmond, and Venus & Ariel made it happen! The apartment has been recently renovated, cleaned, new carpeting, patio blinds as well as a new patio door, due to damage caused by a mower. The maintenance team, Shauntell and Garey, are very quick to respond. Garey has been especially helpful with some little one-offs that we experienced on day one. Can't say enough about the St. Croix team!

St. Croix apartments were wonderful during the year and a half I resided there. The unit I loved in was renovated and every guest complimented when visiting me. Ariel was always helpful and welcoming. The property is well maintained and whenever I needed something fixed Gary responded the same day. I highly recommend this property.

I am new in town and this is my first apartment, it has been a great experience thus far and I couldn't be happier. The staff is very nice and very helpful. Ariel helped us a lot, specially during the move in. The complex is at a perfect location not too far from the interstate and the town center. The neighborhood is nice everyone seems to keep to themselves and not bother anyone I live peaceful here and I'm loving it. I would definitely suggest this to any family looking for a place.

I have communicated my move while overseas for the last three months and I honestly can say it has been a great experience. My move in went very smoothly. I was worried because of the Covid19 pandemic but I can see that staff is very helpful and adaptive to handling all issues. The front office is very friendly and punctual. Maintenance is quick. I LOVE the location of the property - the gym is well maintained. I would recommend living here,

Was looking for a place while stationed in Japan and Ariel was AMAZING! She is very friendly! The staff customer service overall is phenomenal!! Maintenance people are great as well. I gave St. Croix Apartments 2 stars due to the condition of the apartment and parking. Attic door is cut short so closet stay cold & my front door you have to slam for it to completely close. Almost makes me feel unsafe because I fear the door can be easily kicked open. Not sure if door is warped, but I feel air from the front door and window in living room. Parking really sucks. I recommend assigning parking spots to tenants ( like number the spots) so tenants can park close to their residence versus tenants parking in front of leasing office and having to walk to their apartments. It’s located close to shopping areas and I love that.

Upon first impression I noticed the staff was very professional with the tour of the apartment. They kept us up to date with the changes that was happening so we weren’t caught off guard, and we absolutely love our new home and will high recommend anyone to get a lease here.

I can’t express enough how sweet and helpful Mona and Ariel have been through my process of moving in here. I’m single, active duty military and it’s been perfect for me. It’s clean and quiet in the neighborhood. The gym and pool is within walking distance and also very clean. The trash is taken out all the time so it’s never full anytime I go out. If I ever have any maintenance issues, they are there the same day if not, within 24 hours to fix the issue. Neighbors have been great and don’t have anything to complain about. There is also a mini playground for children if you are bringing your family.

The Leasing Agent Ariel was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the property . I was already staying in the Virginia beach area so i wanted to keep my daughter in the area. My apartment was infested with gnats and I lost $60 worth of food, got bit, was forced to eat out and they invaded the bedroom. I got told by corporate it was fruit flies. The head of maintenance started they were in fact gnats. My car was hit during a police chase in the parking lot, a closet door fell on my head, the closet shelf fell on my boyfriends shoulder, the screen door falls all the time. They broke the lease and entered my apartment without 48 hour written notice or my consent. They told me I had “fruit flies” because I had spoiled food And to buy bleach to flush the sink. That’s something we pay maintenance for as the only thing per the lease is to fix a lightbulb. This place is a joke.
Have been at St Croix for 14 months. I renewed my lease in June because they have been excellent to me. Grounds: The small lake and fountain at the entrance is spectacular. The swimming pool is always immaculate. I have a garage/self-storage unit on the premises that is completely drywalled, has electricity, and an automatic garage door opener. Perfect! Location: Newtown Rd. and Newtown Rd. - so easy access to I-64, I-264, cities of Virginia Beach and Norfolk, and Virginia Beach's Towne Center via Virginia Beach Blvd. Two major shopping centers less than a mile away with 2 major grocery stores, auto parts, restaurants, etc. Airport only 4 miles away. Perfect! Apartment: Great one bedroom unit with vaulted living room ceiling and a ceiling fan/light that keeps my electric bills down. Great little deck out back that is shaded by woods behind, with a good view, yet still mostly private. All appliances including full size washer/dryer, dishwasher, ultramodern ceramic cooktop stove, etc. Granite kitchen countertops, granite bathroom vanity, and granite fireplace and mantle(full working fireplace). Good closet space in bedroom and living room and entrance foyer. Allowed to have pets although I do not own one. Everything in my apartment works: ie, utilities, sliding doors, windows, etc. - in other words it is not a maintenance nightmare. Perfect! Management: Responsive and caring staff both at front office and the maintenance team. Emergencies or routine, they do it well and do it right - they actually care and understand that 'this is my home and secure living place and refuge' - not just unit # such and such amongst so many others on the property. Perfect! I appreciate Bonaventure and St Croix Apartments! I intend to stay here for many years;!
These apartments are ok, I lived at better places. It takes maintenance forever to get your request and for them to come fix what's broken. Also, maintenance does a poor job in keeping the mail area tidy. The place is ok if you're looking for something last minute. Parking is tough because visitors like to park in resident spots. The only thing that is good about this place is that it is convenient to shops.
