Great place to live and an even better location. Dog park is a huge bonus along with the walking trail to get some exercise. The pool and clubhouse is really nice and enjoyable on the weekends.

My apartment and porch are so cozy and relaxing. I love the pond and waterfall. I sit on my porch every morning and it just starts my day off right. Parking at the 500 building is quite a challenge, though. I usually have to park several buildings away. :-(

The staff is great, clubhouse is beautiful, but the hallways are horrible. There is a broken refrigerator, peeling paint, and light fixtures are full of bugs. We have been too embarrassed to have friends over.

I love this place. Just don’t like the valet trash service that I have to pay for but is hit or miss on if they actually pick up trash. The location is great the pool is amazing the gym is good enough.

Living here at Spyglass Seaside for about 8 months, I am very happy with my choice! My apartment on the third floor is perfect for me. I enjoy and use the amenities that are offered, such as the pool, fitness center, and the walking trails. The Staff here are great! I had a maintenance problem with my furnace, the maintenance staff responded immediately and worked to correct the issue! I feel this community is perfect for me! Highly recommended!

I can say with full honestly that this property is special - not only does it provide luxury apartments in an unbeatable location, the exemplary staff headed by Mary the manager create a friendly and welcoming environment that truly makes you feel at home. I enjoy living at Spyglass because it is conveniently located near the beach, downtown Charleston, and various attractions. The grounds are beautiful, making it feel like living in a resort. The clubhouse is impressive, and the workout room is well-equipped. Everyone here is very helpful when it comes to finding restaurants, grocery stores, and more. The staff is amazing, but Jessie went above and beyond in helping me coordinate our move cross-country.

Moved here from Boston nearly 3 years ago. Spyglass honestly could not have been a better place to land in our new venture. Let's start with the pool & clubhouse...beautiful, clean, well maintained, fun community events held. Neighborhood: safe, quiet, welcoming, close to beach and downtown. Apartments: Spacious, high ceilings, quiet, large closets, great screened in porches on most units. Staff: Amazing, responsive, friendly, professional, truly great people who have become like family. Office management is always very helpful and make them selves available always for questions or some love for my pup. Mary, Brooke & Jessie are top notch and hardworking. When I see them giving a tour I always say to myself "what a great job they do taking new people around the property". You can tell they are proud to work (& live here). Maintenance staff Jesse, Scott & Grant are always working, doing a million things at once it seems. All with a smile. Any issues are resolved so quickly and efficiently. Everyone smiles often and is willing to stop and say hello in the sunshine. There's a large dog park for those who have a dog...another friendly way to meet your neighbors. Can you tell I love this place. If this is on your list of places to check out, definitely call! You'll be so happy :)

Just moved into Spyglass a week ago. Our apt is very quiet and people are friendly. We just found out that they had a place to recycle boxes which is very helpful, since we have a ton of boxes to get rid of.

My first five months have been wonderful! It is such a safe community and they have so much to do, they always have fun events by the pool or in the clubhouse and everyone is kind that I have met so far. Everything is clean and move-in was great. I really have no complaints, but if I absolutely had to come up with something - most everyone has a furry friend, and sometimes these dogs can bark like crazy, especially in the early hours of the morning. While this is not really anything to do with the apartment itself, just keep that in mind and get a sound machine!

The office staff are friendly and try to be helpful, however maintenance issues are appalling. The concrete floors and walls have not been cleaned despite our request. We were told that the hallways are due to be power washed some time in the future. We I They are dirty, and there are cobwebs. ( I cleaned around my own door.) Light fixtures are clearly full of dead insects. When we reported that the recycle bin was full of garbage, we were told by office staff that there's another one further down the street that we can use. Coffee machine was "broken" for over a week. We would like for all of these issues to be addressed. It's a nice place to live, but marred by neglect.

Quiet community with excellent amenities. Additionally, valet trash pickup and community maintenance is second to none pursuant other James Island properties. Top notch office staff! A great place to call home.

It’s a beautiful location and everyone is friendly. Having to park so far away from my building when I get off at night is the only downfall and that is not even something worth worrying over.

While a little pricey, Spyglass more than makes up for that with excellent amenities, friendly and professional staff, and a location that is convenient to both downtown and Folly Beach.

Great community! Staff is super friendly. Any issues are resolved very quickly. Fun events are offered all the time. Amazing amenities are offered like the grills and gym. Very clean and well up kept.

So far, move-in has been a breeze, and the other residents are SO friendly! Extremely dog friendly. They have a bark bar in the front office.

I have lived here for three months now and have to say this was a great choice! I use the weight room, pool, and walking areas almost daily. 5th year here! We were going to renew our lease, but decided to upgrade into a 3 bed with a great view and love it! Office staff (Mary and Jessie) were and always are absolutely amazing. They made this move so much better easing our stress. Maintenance (Scott and Jesse) were and always are also a major asset. We love living here.

I love Spyglass for its pool and wonderful events! My dog really enjoys making friends at the dog park. It's a great feature for our furry friends. I like sitting on the balcony and walking around the ponds.

This was my first true apartment and I’m not sure any other place afterwards will compare. Beautiful amenities, the best and most responsive maintenance team, and extremely helpful/kind management. I’ll miss my perfect apartment with sunrise views but I’m excited for whoever is so lucky to enjoy it next.
